Dont get me wrong, Im excited for this update, but not really for the content (weve been shown so far), Im just more excited for the actual heist and story based missions.

I start my shift as soon as the DLC drops but at least I can leave my PS4 on to download since living in Australia takes a few hours to make a single download happen. Then, when I get home I have the DLC and the leaks of the drip fed vehicles WEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

I'm thinking that it's probably going to play out almost more like the Special Vehicle Missions/Mobile Operations (hence the 2-4 players option, but with a single narrative thread running through them (more like the Lowriders missions). Wonder if that'll even extend to the payouts, where it's less about 'stealing some high-value thing in order to earn a decent final score', and more 'you get paid for doing the job - and it's the usual time-dependent payout per mission'.

 

But in general, I don't necessarily think it'll be exactly like the original heists - after all, people pointed out that some of the more memorable Import/Export and Gunrunning missions felt kinda like stand-alone heist set-ups, complete with set-piece moments that showcase specific vehicles and their associated gimmicks. Arms Embargo, for instance, could easily have been a heist set-up - same with Data Breach/Work Dispute.

If they do and it's good then I'll be hyped as hell. If not but there's some in dripfeed then still happy I'll just grind the new heists while waiting. If not at all then I doubt I'll even load up the game.

honestly I think it's going to be more like the SP heists...they'll set it up and we need to find the gear needed for it in freemode
