damn that stromburg is by far the most "mysterious" vehicle for me.

 

for example will the rockets be homing rockets and if so will they be able to lock on underwater (the artwork show a rocket being fired at a mine underwater) ,because you can't get a lock on from someone outside the water when you are under in a sub.

I'm very interested in dripfeed this time. Just look at this dlc

Flying deluxo, Jetpack, Lotus, Vulcan, Subs, Heist

All things that have been heavenly requested for years now. If dripfeed is similar we might finally get Sea Sparrow, AirWolf, Hermes, Mustang, Scuba Gear (and more)

This is actually correct, but the original heists were highly anticipated, they were announced in the gameplay trailer a month or two before the game itself got released, then we waited almost two years later to get them in the game, the rage and the hype about the original heists was ridiculous and unreal, I don't see them doing it for this one, but hey, it's Rockstar, and I'll go by what you said "expect the unexpected"

For me, DLCs usually arrive around 5PM in Tuesday. Same when the Tunabowls update aswell.

 

But my slow internet will usually let me play the DLC after 3 hours. Yay for 3mbps internet.

I'm on 50mbit and it takes me 4 or 5 hours to dl an update, load of sh*t psn in Australia, but I'm going to beat it this time. You can run a proxy through your pc so it grabs multiple chunks at once like a web browser or torrent. psn doesn't do that naturally from the playstation.

Well since I expext that we will have several mini heists build out of prep, setup and steal to aquire the vehicles (we will be able to choose the order of these "mini heist") and one big finale I assume the following:

 

(everything counted per player)

All preps: 25k-50k

All setups: 50k-75k

Mini heists: 100k-200k

Big Finale: 500k-750k

 

Doing the whole thing will take about 5-6 hours.

Seriously speaking now. Since this heist looks huge and it seems to take a long time to get the preparations ready for the real deal, I'm speculating 2.000.000 more bonuses.

 

I know, it looks way too much and unlikely for our current R* to do so (shark cards). But:

 

1st: It has to be more than the pacific standard. Considering the effort, possible number of missions and main goal (see n2).

 

2nd: Now our objective is saving the world. We're not just stealing a huge bank because we want, but saving everyone because we need.

 

3rd: I know, they screwed up the flight cargo system. Making it require more effort to produce less money than the other businesses. But in the end we're just smuggling stuff in planes and I just can't see them ignoring the 1st and the 2nd item to repeat this same mistake again

 

What do you guys think? Are they gonna go full cash card and make it less than 1m? Or just a little more than it and use something in the story as a justification? Way less doing the same stuff?

If that were true (which most likely isn't), it creates a dangerous precedent of trolls just failing the mission for laughs, to screw our characters up. A good thing that will come out of this is players actually looking for trusted crew members and dramatically reducing the chance of playing with randoms.

 

What would be unacceptable is if the heist can only be done once, which is 100% unlikely.

still feeling that something tragic will happen.

 

be it to our characters or the npc's.

 

like wildbrick said a while back,killing of our characters IF this is the final STORY arc update could happen.

 

after that just send us back to free roam like nothing happend. (can still do all the thing this game has to offer and replay the heist as much as you want since the game modes aren't cannon)

 

their just won't be a story arc update to follow because of what could happen.
