Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 5)

This is the day, people. In 23 hours we're gonna clear our doubts regarding this incredible and unexpected DLC.

 

As already had been said before, hopefully there are some nice normal cars in the dripfeed.

Well what would an update be without a new multi-million dollar Supercar that beats all existing ones?

But I am certain well get normal cars.

So whats with R*'s twitter feed. Sounds like all those vehicles are coming Tuesday. This really is going to be a Heist 2.0 with vehicles locked behind missions instead of a drip feed. And we can run the heist missions with just 2 players now! Tomorrow can't come soon enough! 24 hours and counting!

 

That waiting is killing me inside, how much anxiety.

I also think that all vehicles will come at once, but we will have to release during the missions, just like the previous Heist.

Doubt it. Some of the earlier Heists would be impossible with 2 people.

Usually 10-11am GMT+1 for me. We don't know what will be dripfed so you'll have to wait and see.

in the first heists we only had to complete them. But in the MOC missions we had to host them to get the trade price.

the time for an update is 10 am, tell me what's this update that got released at 9 am?

the change in summer time is not causing any confusion, the update that is at 10 am gmt, gets released at 9am gmt+1, those are two different timezones, not times.

I haven't seen any new normal clothes in the trailer, the last update had some normal clothes but they weren't shown in screens or trailers, hopefully that's the case in this one as well, this game needs some decent clothes .

Going on topic for speculation.

Look at the end of the "wings" where the rocket pad are. thoses 4 stick remind me the attachement under the rogue when you put a weapon on it, Maybe we could add one more weapons on thoses extra wings (another rocket rack (barrage?) another explosive canon (like the rogue?) For the one who have the rogue, look how your weapon is attached to the wings of the plane an you'll see what I mean

Good question. Knowing Rockstar, they'll likely make us just play the heist to unlock it or reduce its cost. But that depends on the vehicle(s) used on the setups/heists at hand.

Awesome observation, I haven't even noticed that and I've been staring at these screenshots for a while now, that looks like if it has an option for more rocket launchers.

hopefully that's not the case, just playing the heist should give a reduced price, I don't think Rockstar will lock anything behind gameplay, they just removed the lock on the original heists, why would they do the opposite now.

Helicopters irl have Air-to-Air missiles mounted in the outer pylons. (Or omething like Stingers, Sidewinders, blah)

 

Hunter has the same pylons, but no extra weps either. (Since the Guided missiles are A2A and A2G anyway)

Around 6am for me. Pics of prices and vehicles start showing up on here around 4am including all the 3D model pics of locked vehicles,clothing,masks,etc.

 

In between 4am and 6am everyone starts going crazy on here...

 

Xbox generally gets the update first followed by PlayStation then steam is always last.

 

6am - 8am people show off everything they buy and talk about what they like/dislike about the dlc. Then people rage about all the awesome stuff that's held back for dripfeed.

 

The rest of the day you want to head over to se7ensins to see what new glitches/exploits people find.

For me, DLCs usually arrive around 5PM in Tuesday. Same when the Tunabowls update aswell.

But my slow internet will usually let me play the DLC after 3 hours. Yay for 3mbps internet.

Just to finish the discussion. MY BAD.

 

It actually WAS the time change that caused the confusion. The UK + my country's summertime caused, to be specific.

 

I just looked at old posts from both GR and SR and.. yeah, they did drop at 10 UK time, but for me it used to appear as 8 am (which without my summertime change and turning it into the UK one, would be 9).

 

Yep, unnecessary flood was my fault.

 

I'm gonna start using EST time as a reference. The difference is bigger, but in the end it looks easier to avoid getting lost.
