As much as I very much love and use every single vehicle released in this dripfeed (yes, even the Howard, Mogul and Bombushka), the length it's dragged on has been a damn nightmare. Really would love to see them start including more in the day 1 release than saved for the drip.. I'd welcome a long dry spell over this tedium.

 

Remember when the Aquatic DLC speculation was all the rage? Ever since then I have wanted just one vehicle, it is both a movie vehicle and it's weaponized. It would fit with the Vigilante and would also make use of it's boost

 

If that's too out there, the Barris Batmobile would suffice... Yeah, I know we just got one, but this one is better. Objectively better. It's a weaponized movie vehicle, open top, and looks WAY better than the Vig IMO. Vigilante Classic?? Redundant I know lol, but if we have to have weaponized vehicles, I maintain that movie and military stuff is better than the DIY Armored Boxville type fare..

If the Lazer is released tomorrow, Im curious to see if well still only get two stars for stealing a Zancudo one.

I could easily see R reverting back to the 4*/Lazer shooting you down we had before SR

If R* releases tomorrow both we have a chance to get a trailer Thursday and the DLC upcoming week.

Or tomorrow will release the Lazer and the Creator with the DLC or maybe we get the Creator and the DLC with the Lazer.

Let's just hope they will release both tomorrow

As much as I've very much love and use every single vehicle released in this dripfeed (yes, even the Howard, Mogul and Bombushka), the length it's dragged on has been a damn nightmare. To me, military vehicles are the best weaponized vehicles. They fit, most have been in before, etc.

 

Not as keen on movie vehicles. Better when they're pretty iconic and recognizable though. A jetpack would be cool.

 

DIY stuff is probably the worst in my opinion.

They've done it multiple times, there was no vehicle in the event week after SR cane out (week of September 5th), the Rapid GT Classic came a week later and two weeks after SR was out.

 

They also skipped October 17th and 24th because of the Transform Races.

It didn't also in the past days they missed almost 3-4 weeks of dripfeed

Soon we will have 3 months of Smugglers run dripfeed.

Yeah I looked it up. They have skipped the first week in the past, and we did get a vehicle on the 4th week of Oct with the Batmobile. Not looking at Tuesdays, just the weeks.

 

Regardless, I still think they will drop the Lazer and Creator tomorrow and release on the 5th. It lines up with what I know.

Agreed Happy. I remember hoping for classic muscle before GR and we got the Weaponized Tampa lol. It's ugly and unarmored, and I haven't seen one in free roam since right after GR... Yeah the DIY a.k.a. mad max stuff just seems like an opportunity to bastardize otherwise normal vehicles (thankfully we'd already gotten the Tampa at that point). To each their own of course, but that mad max Mustang from a few pages back still has me triggered...

 

So I want Patriot Classic, vintage tank, and a Batboat if they're feeling randy.

Very plausible too. This is how I/E came out.

 

With the way they handled the SR release though as well as the transition between GR's dripfeed and SR's release, it makes me believe the next update may indeed drop next week with an announcement this Thursday/Friday if the drip feed for SR does indeed end tomorrow.

Regarding drip feed, i think it is good because it increases the lifespan of the DLC, however, too much of it can kill the DLC, that is why i think drip feed shouldn't last more than 4 weeks after the release of an update.

Well, unfortunately it looks like something straight out of a R* DLC now.

 

But it doesn't fit that much the hipster theme, I think. What probably would, is something like what people posted here some days ago, which was a 40's motorcycle with a sidecar mounted MG.

 

 

 

Or a humvee, if we consider military weaponized vehicles. It's the least faraway from hipsters, imo.

 

 

 

 

The patriot classic is probably the only weaponized vehicle I will buy, unless they add a mad max style vehicle.

 

 

Do you want to know what's funny, well it's not that funny when you think about it. AM general the company that creates the HUMVEE have currently filed a lawsuit at Activision for the lookalike HUMVEE in Call of Duty. so yeah...

The Modern Warfare Series had real Humvees in them though, not just some knockoffs.

Also, the Squad game also had to remove their Humvees due to this.

People have speculated there will be 20-30 cars in Hipsters 2. If that's the case then you can bet at least 10-15 of those cars will be released via drip feed.

They said that they would slow down updates around RDR2 to allow people to play it without missing out on GTAO content, so yeah, they'll probably make this DLC big and as long as possible until spring. Then RDR2 will be released, then we'll have some boring 2x events for a while. Incoming 4 months of dripfeed.

Be careful on how you word that. For all you know those "new" cars could be useless and you would regret it. Rockstar loves to disappoint the players.
