If there was one retro car i would like to see in the next DLC, it has to be the bmw m3 e46, could be a benny version of an existing ubermacht car. Here is how it would look like ingame :

This is the mind-blowingly clueless company who thought sh*tty transform races made up for one week of vehicle dripfeeding called Rockstar we're talking about, so who knows?

What if the weaponized vehicles we are getting arent militarized but instead more like this, fits with the update much more.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Well, unfortunately it looks like something straight out of a R* DLC now.

 

But it doesn't fit that much the hipster theme, I think. What probably would, is something like what people posted here some days ago, which was a 40's motorcycle with a sidecar mounted MG.

 

 

 

Or a humvee, if we consider military weaponized vehicles. It's the least faraway from hipsters, imo.

 

 

 

 

 

The patriot classic is probably the only weaponized vehicle I will buy, unless they add a mad max style vehicle.

 

Do you want to know what's funny, well it's not that funny when you think about it. AM general the company that creates the HUMVEE have currently filed a lawsuit at Activision for the lookalike HUMVEE in Call of Duty. so yeah...

R* needs to be careful due to what's happening to ea and the backlash and now activison and destiny lying about the XP gained and nerfing it when you grind hardcore.

 

This next update will make or break them. Either the community turns on then or they will be fine.

 

Either way gta online is on thin ice with others.

naa gtao and the cashcard system is nowhere near the ea/lootbox backlash.

 

like i always say, in my book what makes the gtao system better than any other microtransaction system out there is that R* doesnt make content that can only be unlocked via microtrans, the same cannot be said about other games that make content exclusively for the lootboxes, or requires special points(cod points) or keys that can only be obtained by forking out real cash.

 

R* takes heat for the ever increasing prices, but i think they are in safe terrain.

i don't like the cards either but it's nowhere near as bad as EA/activision/shadow of war.

 

micro transactions should go away for sure but if i got to choose between rockstar's version and all the others then it's the cards.

 

i rather have expensive items that still can be obtained in game without real money then being blocked out of the content if i refuse to buy it irl.

 

again shark cards are bad,but it's not as bad as some people on here make it to be.

Yea, R* is safe, the problem with lootboxes is that you pay for soemthing yo dont know what you get (Gambling basicly).

 

Rockstar just offers in game money for purchasing stuff, but you always know what are you getting. Would be much different if something gambling related was included in the game (Like the so called Casino), then they would be in a big mess.

 

I would never agree in this kind of bussines (micropays or lootboxes) but at least R* gives you what you paid for, not the chance of getting it...

Edit- just to hammer the point home. I 'think' you'd be a fool to think a multi-billion dollar corporation hasn't been using non-traditional licensing agreements in addition to traditional ones.

Well that's just a buzzkill, I was actually looking forward to getting one. Its still possible though because they haven't said anything about the patriot in the previous gta's and those looked almost like the actual HUMVEE.

I dont think they would ever feature real brands in the GTA series even if they could do it. I mean the satirical real world references are part of what is GTA. If they had real brands they would limit themselves a lot IMO
