Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 5)

Going back to what someone else said I do like the idea of buying a foreclosed place and making it a diner/cafe that makes money in the background like in SP. We could be able to customize it and hang out in it with friends. It would be one of the most legal things to do in Online.

Bit like something I was thinking about with a friend a while back: Sammy's Bar in Mafia III.

 

In Mafia III, Sammy runs a local nightspot (food, drink, music, etc.), which also serves as a front for Sammy's gang - who in turn have to pay a percentage to Mafia Don Sal Marcano. In one of the DLC expansions, you get to renovate the bar, do some side missions including hiring staff, fending off thugs, and so on.

 

Imagine being able to set up, customise and run our own 'legal' business, but with a back room for the not-so-legal side work - and having to make sure that the operation makes enough money to pay a regular cut to Madrazo or someone else. That'd be a fun way of doing something that's not just another black market steal/sell business, but still have some kind of criminal angle to keep it relevant to GTA.

Im not one of them lol this military/fight each other based dlc stuff needs a break now we have enough, id still love a small attack boat though

Im hoping for a ton of extra vehicle slots like last year and loads of different vehicles too mod, if we get missions then its going to be a good craic joining the crew on them

So, what do we know so far about the next DLC so far?

 

-Name: I'm not a hipster part 2

-New properties (maze bank foreclosure)

-New weaponized vehicles

-No mansions

-New vehicles at legendary motorsports

-New addition to the MOC

-No aircraft

 

Is there anything else ?

Where was it confirmed that we're not getting mansions and there will be an addition to the MOC? I must have missed those pieces of info.

 

 

Fun said that about the MOC and Mach1bud said no mansions.

 

It wouldn't surprise me at all if rockstar do something with the moc too combat the glitching, but people will find ways round anything rockstar do tbh

well we can figure some stuff out.

 

the variety in the vehicles will be insane.

 

supers (duh) sport classics,older sedans,muscle and even weaponized vehicles.

 

even though the update has a theme it will be for everyone. the rich will have supers and sport classics,the nostalgic will have the older sedans,the patriotic will have muscle cars and the triggerhappy will have weaponized vehicles.

 

it might be 1 of the few updates that will have little complaints towards the cars

 

don't like sedans?fine you also get some supers,don't like those?fine buy a classic etc.

 

 

it will be waaay different from part 1 car wise. more choise in genre and all that.

I'm scared r* will do something like enable countermeasures the lazer.

That wouldn't make any difference anyways. Rockets don't kill Lazers. Snipers do.

 

RPGs do, Sticky Bombs, MOC Turrets, and so on and on.

And flares don't have anything to do with those.

I'm talking dogfights. One of the lazer's best moves is the stall. The stall is more effective against planes that don't have the death beam guns. The newer planes thwart the stall with missile spam.

 

My story is told and flares or chaff would indeed make a difference in the lazer's ability to win dogfights. Think about the poor helis too.

Well I just know if this next DLC is a bust I have two new games I bought on steam I can still enjoy and take a break from GTAO for a while. So far nothing looks promising for me.

I would love to see more engravings for all the weapons that don't currently include them (Assault Shotgun, PDW, Minigun etc.) Hipsters 2.0 would be such a great opportunity to add them in my opinion.

I found one mansion that has a foreclosure sign on it. Can't wait to buy this one if its available in the upcoming DLC. It has a nice backyard too.[edited]

I don't think so, they wouldn't promote an upcoming DLC while still trying to sell items from the previous one. Is the drip feed finished or are we still missing a release ? If not maybe we get a trailer next week.

V took place during the collapse of the housing market & R* tried to mimic the recession of 2007/2008. One of the Housers mentioned it in one of the early interviews before V came out when asked about this scene in the very first GTA V trailer.

 

 

What I'm trying to say is, don't get your hopes up so you don't get disappointed next month.

Not only that, but the MC clubhouses, businesses and bunkers doesn't have Foreclosure signs, yet they're on Foreclosure. Those signs aren't clues, not to mention that there's Wolfs Foreclosure, Robinson Estate Foreclosure and those plain Red Foreclosure signs.

IIRC The Maze Bank Foreclosure website was introduced with Bikers & wasn't available from the beginning. Same thing with Dynasty8 Executive.

you are mistaken, it is Wolf Real Estate and Robinson Real Estate, among others, the only foreclosure signs are the red ones and they are across or above real estate signs from one of the in game realtors

you are mistaken, it is Wolf Real Estate and Robinson Real Estate, among others, the only foreclosure signs are the red ones and they are across or above real estate signs from one of the in game realtors

 

 

There's foreclosure signs on all of them... they still are just pointless signs in terms of DLC clues.

No, it means you are reading too much into it.

 

If they decide to add Mansions, Villas, Beach houses or Lofts they won't be limiting themselves to properties with "Foreclosure Signs" ... The only limitation would be houses involved in missions.

 

 

Also, Foreclosure Signs are just props. They can remove\add them whenever they want. They already removed a bunch of gates, added another bunch of gates & they added the Bunker entrances.

I think some years ago there were 2 cars that got leaked (interior too) those vehicles were from GTA IV which meant to be in V but I guarantee those vehicles are coming with Im not a hipster since they fit in that update
