Hopefully tomorrow or friday is information day, these droughts kill my hype tbh, id like too be exited if i had a valid reason

Exactly. I'm not disappointed at the lack of info, it's what I expect from R*. I'm just kind of flat. It would just have been nice to have something concrete to be hyped over (or complain about) for more than 3 or 4 days.

 

But whatever. The 2017 updates so far have my bar set pretty low, more vehicle storage and some well designed cars will be enough to get me hyped.

 

Last night i was having my usual gta bash im not going too lie i felt deflated playing, i just couldn't be arsed, i should be like a child looking forward too santa right now lol

Had the exact same feeling yesterday. Instead of being hyped I felt nothing. After an hour of Hunt(er)ing bounties and sniping colourful jets I turned the game off.

 

Still, I'm awaiting my invite into the GTAF crew, and I am looking forward to getting into sessions with you guys when I get a bit of free time around Christmas.

I would be really happy if we get mansions and nightclubs in the next dlc! and maybe some new edm/dance tracks added to the radio station to go with the nightclubs theme! i loved the songs played in clubs in tbogt

 

I hope we get some sports/coupe or muscle cars in this dlc. I am bored of supers (i've almost all of them) but they are getting monotonous C* just adds them for the shark card sales! Most of the new ones seem like reskins to me but little kids buy them

 

This wait for the new info is frustrating

My man, INAH2 was most likely postponed long before that Newswire post. We just heard about it late.

That makes sense to me... I always thought it was kind of weird that they would go for foreclosures and weaponized vehicles on a hipster themed update.

 

The 1st hipster update was pro and anti hipster.

 

Besides in LA who can afford a studio apartment off a Starbucks salary? When a store goes around selling used take-out paper bags for $15,000 each I think LS is worse off. Sounds hipsterish to me to have your property foreclosed by the bank.

This legit seems like something rockstar would do. Actually the more I look at this statement the more probable it seems.

It is possible that R* is going to say absolutely nothing and drop the update tuesday. That would certainly stop the masses fron trying to save up a bit for this or that.

 

One thing we have on our side, for why they will likely drop most of the update at once, is they need it to be a huge assortment of expensive things so the kiddies will request shark cards for Christmas/blow their Christmas money in game.

If people spend their money endlessly without saving, I'd say that's on them. Smart players know to constantly save up and keep a bit of change aside for the next update.

 

Nobody has a gun to anyone's head saying "BUY THIS NOW!!!" and every purchase made is down the player.

 

I don't see how the whole "R* just want you to spend money" theory holds up (yes things are expensive, but there's more ways now to earn cash) when we get weekly discounts and bonuses on the ways we have to make money.

 

 

I dont understand why R* always have to be so cryptic and silent about their future updates.

R* have been doing that for god knows how long. Probably as long as they've been making games.

 

I don't blame them either. if everyone's losing their minds like they are ITT over info that wasn't official or happened to be different from what we got in the end product, it'd be a good reason for me to stay hush till everything is wrapped up.

 

People making up ideas in their heads that info is coming on a certain day when it isn't, doesn't do much to help either.

This legit seems like something rockstar would do. Actually the more I look at this statement the more probable it seems.The working and decisions environment at Rockstar is certainly something much more relaxed and they do not take in account what forums say

 

They are in such a position thanks to shark cards that they do not need to please this or that crowd, they drop what they want and pigeons go eat it and begg for more

 

They drop an old old old plane for 6,5 Mil and people smile saying is cheap and rush to buy it - that equals to - No pressure power from gamers

If I'm being completely honest about all I ever really want, it's:

- new haircuts that don't look dumb

- beach houses or mansions

- 488 Spider

- Panamera

- New Continental GT

- Ability to paint stock rims

- New rims

I don't think I'd want for more tbh. Guess I'm simple.

I only care about the rims from your list. 458/488 would be cool I guess, but defo not in the Spider form (unless they'd add both). What I'd like to get:

- Benny's Boso Warrener

- Stock Comet Retro

- Supra

- Civic

- NSX

- Hakumai

- Other IV/EFLC vehicles

LOL K den, I did say it was all that I would personally want, ever, like from this game... but okay.

 

I prefer the Spider because it can easily be a coupe and convertible...

I dont understand why R* always have to be so cryptic and silent about their future updates. A very good comparison would be DICE with the Battlefield franchise. They announce their DLC from miles away, and even let the community test the DLC via a controlled CTE environment. There is zero info about the R* workspace and their future plans. Weird stuff, there is more info about Area 51 then then R* Workspace in NewYork

I like what DICE is doing with the Battlefield Franchise, at least with them you can tell that they are playing their own game ... now GTA's art director said that Agent14 is a storymode character ...

Correct, The HQ of Rockstar Games as a whole is in New York but Rockstar North which is the developer behind GTA is in England.

Kinda like EA's HQ being in California, but DICE is in Stockholm and DICE is usually the one interacting with the community of Battlefield, not EA.

What if you could call in a cargo plane to initiate certain activities? This would include parachuting VIP work or a simple drop off of your choosing. Imagine calling in a cargo plane and loading in 4 tanks and airdropping over the city? Could even make it a fast travel option to quickly get in or out of action. Whatcha think?

Highly unlikely given all the other updates in the past year. Most of which had prior announcements.

 

Given this is the December update amd likely one of the biggest updates we have ever gotten, I expect an announcement and trailer beforehand.
