Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 5)

Should we still be taking that one newswire everyone's talking about this literally ? I mean, the original plan was supposedly to release INAH2 and now it is on hold, so who's to say we're still getting the foreclosures or the weaponized vehicles they mentioned ? They wrote that back when we were still supposed to get INAH2 in December, which doesn't seem likely anymore, so I wouldn't necessarily take either the foreclosures or the weaponized vehicles as granted.

What we are getting is exactly what they wrote in the newswire post, Rockstar never said that that update is called INAH2.

TunersSame goes for Tuners, they didn't specify what we are getting nor the theme of the update , it can be tuners with militarized vehicles shoved into it, but it's very unlikely that that's the case, a Gunrunning part 2 is more like it, unless they are finally releasing INAH2 that yan was talking about. - new haircuts that don't look dumb

- beach houses or mansions

- 488 Spider

- Panamera

- New Continental GT

- Ability to paint stock rims

- New rims

Well the Carbonizzare isn't really anything like a 458/488. It's more a California even though it's basically just Aston Martin Zagato mixed with some TranStar Racing Dagger GT car nobody knows but for some reason the combo made it look like a Ferrari. I'd rather they just add a new car. Plus it's front engined.

The panamera is a truely ugly and borderline blasphemous car, but Id really love some competition for the schafter. Id love some ubermacht and obey competition more but Ill take whatever I can get. And really, the R* version couldnt possibly be worse than the real thing. Its a great car, but it should say Audi on the front and not look like a suppository.

to everyone saying a naval themed update wouldn't work... do you not have imaginations? think smuggler's run with a miami vice/vice city vibe. cigarette boats, pastel suits, boathouses to store and customize watercraft, etc. I am not saying it is coming next, or ever, just use your imagination, there is sooo much they could do with a naval update. my idea has a miami vice vibe, what are some of your ideas for a naval update?

The reason why I think that a naval update would be the worst update to this date, is the map.

You have a boathouse in chumash? Well to bad, the delivery is on the human labs beach! Now travel around half the map in a slowa$$ delivery boat for about 15 min straight, while getting shot by OP AI and tryhards in jets.

There are no rivers to drive on, you only have a big empty ocean.

Drive a submarine you say? Sure, who would not love to travel through eternal darkness at 2 mph.

 

Im sorry but a naval update would bore most of the players to death 2 hours after its release.

It'd be somewhere close to the city where I could repair my Hunter/restock on countermeasures and bombs, so I'm all for an aircraft carrier.

 

Now that we can actually store aircraft, it makes more sense than it used to.

I will admit we already have a fairly diverse vehicle list but we are missing a few demographics that would be nice to fill. For one the hot hatches and retro hatches are seriously lacking in this game (well actually there are no retro hatches in this game) so thats just a start, then theres no chrap 3 wheeler (reliant robin), no rotary engined vehicles (I think they are different enough to have a demographic), modern american luxury sedans (a new cts-v would be a nice vehicle to take that title), and so many others that can be added but probably will never be. But I always did like variety and I cpuld care less if it's more of the "same", it gives me a choice if I didn't like the one that there is. So I look forward to most things rockstar has to add vehicle wise since it will always either be something different or at least will be another nice choice to whatever is there already.

It has been speculated about Tuner DLC.

I hope to post this is okay. It´s a video about a custom job at Midnight Club. R* has everything already there. They just need to implement it. The custom options are awesome. How unique we could create our vehicles if we just could change the wheel size and the suspension as in Midnight Club. Awesome.

Guys the dlc we assumed was inah2 was never confirmed, the delay for inah2 was never confirmed. Without a source for either of those statements, neither can be 100% true. Look at newswire the next few days and you will get real info. At least dragoon showed the pictures of the eoc update.

All i wish for is Mansions, nightclubs , Casino and another heist. I know the chances are slim to none for Casino / heist, but i live in hope. What i really want is something i can interact with / cosmetic purpose like the yacht. I love my hot tub, now gimme mansions please.

Exactly. I'm not disappointed at the lack of info, it's what I expect from R*. I'm just kind of flat. It would just have been nice to have something concrete to be hyped over (or complain about) for more than 3 or 4 days.

 

But whatever. The 2017 updates so far have my bar set pretty low, more vehicle storage and some well designed cars will be enough to get me hyped.

Thanks to call of star field 2; devs are more stepping on eggshells when it comes to in-game gambling so R* are probably less likely to do the casino now.

Pretty much this. Also Deluxo, Hermes and hopefully couple of cars from smaller, less popular manufacturers, like Obey, Annis, Vulcar, BF or Emperor. Cunning Stunts did an amazing job adding diverse vehicles from different classes and made by different in-game companies. I'd appreciate part deux of this idea.

Most importantly, though, I don't want any militarized hunks of junk that were shoved in our throats since Gunrunning. I'm sick and tired of this PvP public session nonsense and new ways R* finds to turn GTA Online into a copycat of Saints Row.

It is possible that R* is going to say absolutely nothing and drop the update tuesday. That would certainly stop the masses fron trying to save up a bit for this or that.

 

One thing we have on our side, for why they will likely drop most of the update at once, is they need it to be a huge assortment of expensive things so the kiddies will request shark cards for Christmas/blow their Christmas money in game.

I dont understand why R* always have to be so cryptic and silent about their future updates. A very good comparison would be DICE with the Battlefield franchise. They announce their DLC from miles away, and even let the community test the DLC via a controlled CTE environment. There is zero info about the R* workspace and their future plans. Weird stuff, there is more info about Area 51 then then R* Workspace in NewYork
