Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 5)

DLC related or not, a newswire post is coming today, as it always does on tuesday. I don't think we should assume that nothing's coming today simply because we didn't get it yet.

Do we always get a newswire update on Tuesdays?? Pretty sure it's happened several times that there's nothing on Tuesday

 

I'm quite sure we always got something on tuesday from a while, but occasionally it was related to streams or other Rockstar games. I don't think we should lose hope until the content of this week's newswire post will be revealed.

The event rockstar has going on (xbox one x giveaway) ends on the 7th (Thursday) so most likely we will be getting info on Friday

Guys, Im a leaker. Heres what you need to know:

 

The future update will have overpriced cars, over priced clothes (with stupid restrictions on what you can and cannot pair together), bug fixes for things that help you make money, no fixes for things that dont (wall breaches will remain in tact). Only a quarter of the update will be released on day one, the interesting stuff will be drip fed until April. There will be a boat load (please over analyze the word boat) of new and mostly unbalanced Adversary Modes, many of which will involve sitting and waiting to play and not actually playing. There will be a new business opportunity that will be even less profitable solo than anything available so far and will be quickly disregarded by a majority of the fan base as a legit source of income. There will also be a handful of new duping methods for those looking to actually make cash as opposed to grinding their lives away.

My biggest issue with the dripfeeds are how rockstar dangle the locked off content into our faces, they allow us to see and even use the vehicles within missions.. absolute piss take...

Ill take paid DLC all the way. In games in which I have paid for content Ive gotten map expansions, single player content and game fixes that improve the game not restrict my ability to enjoy it.

 

 

 

Same with Fallout 4.

Automatron, Wasteland Workshop, Far Harbour, Contraptions Workshop, Vault-Tec & Nuka-World.

 

All paid DLC that added new characters, new items, new creator items, new missions, new map extensions, new gizmos and gadgets and throwaway fun stuff.

We actually received new bonuses inside bonus weeks in the past, but the fact that we didn't this time might not necessarily be a bad thing. In fact, unless the newswire post will be about a different game, it might be safe to assume that we are going to receive informations and/or pictures regarding the update today.

I know. But there are a little difference. On the 2-15 may bonus, Rockstar didnt' put the next premium race (and time trial). In the present double bonus week, Rockstar has done it.

The two week event may have been to buy time. Technically this dripfeed stretched all The way to the next DLC as well, assuming it drops on the 12th. My gut is telling me it will indeed be GR/weaponized vehicle hold overs with either a Pegasus garage or bunker garages.

What I'm thinking will happen is this, On the 12th a newswire post will happen, and the 19th the DLC will come out, If we are lucky we will get a newswire on the 7th and get the DLC on the 12th.
