Last time they announced something on other than Thursday or Friday was Bikers. Initial announcement was on a Monday two weeks before its release (Sept 19th, 2016) and then another post for the release date a week later on a Tuesday (Sept 27, 2016). It came out a week later on the 4th of October, a Tuesday obviously.

 

I think they only do these multiple announcements if an update is delayed or in the works for quite a while. Otherwise we usually just get the announcement/trailer combo on Thursday and then the update the following Tuesday. Rockstar really does work in unpredictable ways.

Is it just me or are we having a really hard time reading R*?

actually something is weird about that...so here's a crazy theory: so the past two DLC's were announced about two days apart (give or take by 1) and they both were very similar in style (military type DLC) and if this one (and that's a big if) is also a military type DLC then the announcement will come 1 to 2 days later than the previous DLC announcement

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't release it today. I think tomorrow there will be a little bit of a chance but Thurs/Fri will probably have 90-95% chance of getting the newswire post that day

Here's a fresh idea folks. How about that let us pay for weather effects? 24 minutes of rain, heavy storms, snow, and more. $25,000 fee and make it so they have additional effects. Heavy storm could negate aircraft. Sandstorm could disable sniping. Whatcha guys think? Worth pitching at R*?

Imagine 30 players order weather effects at the same time.. It wouldn't be a good idea even if only one weather could be active at a time imo

Well the last update was announced 5 days earlier instead of a whole week or two in advance and as far as i'm aware everyone seemed to like that approach, because there was a small waiting time between update and announcement.

Why the f*ck does Rockstar have to be so secretive about their New updates? We dont get any info until about a week before it is released while other devs are constantly letting the community know what they are working on and what's coming next. It drives me insane.

yep it seems like they want enough drip feed so they can announce dlc really soon from being released to make illusion that there is always something new

But seriously... such silence is annoying me a lil bit.. though R* did not announce anything until August, 24th (Thursday) and dropped the trailer with the release date on August, 29th.

December, 7th is a possible date for the full announcement.
