I think its obvious what they should do.

 

If your blip on the map is turning red (means youre griefing or being a total crazy person in the session) then anyone who blows up your personal vehicle during that time shouldnt have to pay for it.

This isn't a good idea. If you are VIP/CEO/MC the mental state doesn't increase. Just remove insurance and bad players points to blow up personal vehicles.

They could easily turn it off while in VIP/CEO/MC missions. Problem solved.

Why using tons of workarounds who could create other problems just took keep a useless feature?

The insurance system is useless, the bad sport system is useless. They dont belong in a game game with tons of weapons, explosives and military grade hardware (coming from a guy who hates PvP by the way). Just imaging battlefield making you pay something everytime you blow up an enemy tank.

The griefers will grief regardless, they are doing it right now since they dont care about the money. They got glitched money, modded accounts ore use one of the various tricks to not pay a dime. For the people who are defending themself against said griefers it would improve the game, like PC shows. You can give them a taste of their own medicine without loosing money.

Got a guy backing up in a zentorno (bulletproof rear) trying to sticky bomb you?

On console you try to get a shot on him and probably die in the process just to avoid paying 20k while on PC you just get out your grenadelauncher and turn him into a crispy barbecue.

On console you try to snipe the opressor pilot while on PC you simply blow up the bike with him.

I really hope one of the upcoming dlc's removes this stupid "feature" so you can enjoy this freedom too.

I always wondered what people were talking about having to pay insurance when they destroy another player's vehicle..... But I only ever played GTA Online on PC (my brother inlaw is on ps4 but I only messed about in single player on there) I like that you don't have to pay insurance if someone else blows you up however, you do with aircrafts, but I guess that's to deter people from doing suicide dives... but they'll just go nick a regular plane from the airport = no charge

yesterday, I came across a sign at an intersection in Blaine County. I could honestly swear, I've never noticed that before.

It hints at making profits through mining.

So, is there possibly a CEO mining Business update around the corner? Or did I just realize a sign, that stood there for 4 years and I never took a notice. lol

 

Maybe Sue Murray could be the contact for Uranium sales.

It wouldn't work all on it own IMO, but could be fit into any sort of business update if R* felt the need. Heck, for Gunrunning, 14 has us wipe out a crew from far East nuclear power (NK probably judging by the NPCs we have to take out). f*ck uranium though, I want the next installment of the alien egg saga. Smugglers Run would have been PERFECT for a UFO dogfight EE...

I've been somewhat tolerant towards meme vehicles but that is the next level of awful. The time when players are actually able to own and pilot freaking UFOs is the time where I consider Grand Theft Auto as a whole morally and creatively bankrupt.

That sign has been there for a while, nothing new! It's kind of a piss poor one considering that it's how Take Two are seeing R*'s customers.

Everytime I see that sign , I think the exact same thing. It just reminds me that when L Benz's "Everywhere" finally comes out, im walking away from T2 as a whole. The final joke will be for strauss when his corporate greed finally catches up. Ppl who dont buy sharks are "FreeLoaders" eh strauss, even tho i bought multiple copies of the game?

Railguns are based on irl tech atleast. A ufo would be full on "saints rowtarded" and would kill any shred of realism thats left imo. Even jetpacks and rocket cars exist irl. The oppressor, stunt races, and the shotaro are already pushing the envelope for most "true" gtafans. Especially if the ufo is op iny way.

 

 

 

 

I'm mostly for realism too but don't mind the odd wacky vehicle. A ufo with paper thin armour and railgun type weapon without auto aim rockets wouldn't be so bad for balancing. I'm not a believer in the "true gta fan" thing, I've been with gta since the days of top down view and even I am open to pushing gta online into a realm that fits a wide variety of audiences and roleplay. Some days I enjoy suiting up and driving my roosevelt, other days I like jumping into the vigilante with nothing but a pair of love heart shorts and a unicorn mask on. Buhh that's just how I like to mix things up lol

SA may have had things like jetpacks but GTA was never on par with SRIV in terms of silliness. Until Online that is.

Yeah... cuz reverse engendered military ufo that already exist in this game story is totally "saints rowtarded"

 

Oppressor already takes the cake. It makes less sens then ufo and jetpack (cause those actually exist in gta world).

Not to mention that they already had plans of creating controllable ufos (cut content alien hud in game files)

 

And as for the ufo itself - It's fine by me (if its "end game" kind of thing. Last update or something like that)

 

For now I would rather have a some kind of futuristic jet that is loosely based on the same design as this ufo

same here, I don't understand the whole "it's not gta anymore", it's not like anyone is forced to buy/use an item that doesn't fit their play style or they don't like it, the whole variety is what makes GTA what it is.

Because of how silly it's getting. It's no longer GTA, not only you can't keep half the cars you steal, but there's magical flying bikes shooting 20 rockets that wouldn't fit in the damn thing, bomber planes, explosive sniper rounds, etc. GTA was never really silly, it used sarcasm and stereotypes to mock trends, the US government and capitalism in general (how ironic now...). Sure San Andreas had a jetpack, but it made a bit of sense in the context of the game with Area 51 and you had to steal the APC, Hunter, etc, you couldn't own a WWIII arsenal. If you drive around on your own, either in a solo lobby or in Story Mode, you can't seriously think that it's how the game should've turned. Nothing feels like GTA anymore, it's just like if a cartoonish Battlefield had a baby with Saint Rows.

 

It's too late for V anyway. I just hope they stop with the crap and give us actual GTA stuff in the next update(s) and that VI will go back to its proper roots. I also hope that they'll learn not to spaghetti code for GTA VI and think ahead so we don't end up with the mess we have now.

 

 

 

About the railgun comment from Nasty Noodles... The explosiver sniper rounds turned horrible for everything...

whoa, just had a thought inpired by the previous 2 comments... what if 6 was more like VC or SA, maybe even set in a different time period, great SP narrative, and Online continues as 2.0, with an updated engine and a map expansion and kept getting crazier the whole time...

Sorry man but as much as i agree, this game has gone to sh*t as it is and its gone full Saints Row. I can only see it getting more foolish down the road. Got to keep them Saints Row fans pleased so they can have that fanbase buy sharkcards as well.
