The rear of the Cyclone is modeled after the Koenigsegg.

The rear of the Turismo Classic is modeled after the Pontiac Fiero, Doesn't make it one.

The rear of the Bestia is modeled after the Alfa Romeo Giulietta, also doesn't make it one.

The last update that added a muscle car was E&OC nearly two years ago.

Coincidently, it was the last update to add sedans as well. (I'm not sure if F&F's Windsor Drop counts as one).

See, I don't see any Fiero in the rear of the Turismo Classic - more like R* took bits of Testarossa and 348, mashed them together, and shoved them into the rear housing of an F40...

True, but only because it's a close-enough swap for the rear of a Rimac Concept_One.

Theres no doubt the cars main influence is the Rimac Concept One. As we know they cant only use one car though.

Well, yeah - time-honoured GTA design rules, an' all that. ;) But that's the point - it's functionally supposed to be the Rimac, and the Koenigsegg cues are just there to blur the resemblance for legality's sake. It's not quite the same as trying to pull 'double-duty' as two cars at the same time, equally.

I must be an Evolved Motorhead. I am primarily a Hot Rod/Muscle Car guy, but I can appreciate the curves/Horsepower of almost any car. I want lots of Muscle Cars to get added, but I also want an Aventador, 458, LFA (minus the bodykit), Supra, 300zx, RX7, Regera RS, Venom F5, etc. Since I finally got my IRL favorite car, The Legendary 427 Cobra, I can be patient for the rest.

But the engine is modeled from an electric blender lol. Its a sexy car, but the lack of exhaust note will keep me from driving it very much. It will end up being primarily "Eye Candy" in my garage.

My crew races all classes and some of them are really stale. Sedans, coupes, compacts, utility, off road, vans, and muscle all could use some new stuff. But maybe Rockstar doesn't bother because most players only race supers, sports and motorcycles. At least that's my experience joining random races.

Would be happy if they never added any Super cars ever again, but I am sure they will shoe horn them into the next update regardless.

I love my supercars, well, most of them at least.

But I definitely agree here. If more do come, a ratio of 1 super per 8-10 others is all good, but many more... Bored!.

I say, as cards and micro's are the way forward... Add many property options, and many regular cars too, muscle, sedans, coupe's, compacts and vans/trucks...

@ All helisexuals... 100% with ya here, the Hunter is, to me (a non-airman by heart. I'm a former 'boy racer' IRL, so you can see my passion here, lol). It's just GTA folklore, it had to come... For me, as much as I'm a car man, a hanger/air DLC is and should have come earlier, like bikers too IMO.

These DLC's should have been incorporated better, IMO, and should have been planned from day one. Though I don't know the details (R*'s vagueness), it does seem/feel these DLC's were more created after the success of the recurring spending model. After GTA IV's Biker DLC, I genuinely thought that went over well back then, so it's possible the bikers was imagined earlier... But the Hanger, well, like the Bunker... It's just an cash spinner.

Not knocking it. Ok, it pays a little less, but for ma and many longer term players, cash isn't the immediate desire here... It's all about the fun... I do like the jobs and that there's no research...

Did R*/T2 see they went too far with the Bunker?... I f*cking hope so, IMO, just bad... But we shall see...

@ All... Mustang talk!... Well, for me, that's my 'Hunter Moment'... Lol... A dream car I'd be all over it. The XR3i I asked for would be a peach, a real peach at that. But to put a long story short... Give me Ford, simply that!... UK/Euro/American... From the 60's Le Man's right up to now... Chuck in Shelby too... Just so awesome.

I'd be at crisis point, and I think I'd never fly or ride a bike again, lol.

I will never understand the hate on supercars. You all act as if Rockstar broke some cardinal rule or something when the cars were added.

Yeah they could add other classic cars and all that but I havent had a complaint about any of the supers that have been released in every update.

I guess everyone would be happier with more variety with different car classes right?

The Phoenix, and the Vigero would also like to crash that party. The Perfect mashup imo was the Elegy Retro. It used design elements from multiple years of the same car, Rear tires are chubby, plus tons of options. That being said it seems some car manufacturers are very anal about their cars being in video games, so R* has to really switch em up to save a lawsuit.

Edit. The Vigero even has the VL1 badge which is a parody of the infamous ZL1. One of the Rarest Camaros with an all aluminimum 427 with 550hp.

But the point isn't that the super cars have been low quality or something, but that we've not only already had an enough number of them, but they were masssively added in detriment of other classes.

Yeah, there are some exotics/ supers that I'd like to see in the game, but we've reached a point where, sincerly, we don't need more.

R* should from now on foccus on sedans, classics and muslces, that were forgotten through the years.

R* is NEVER going to stop adding Supers. They dont even add American cars anymore in a game set in America. Everyones opinions dont mean anything to T2. They see the shark numbers grow from adding supers, and they get more n more outrageous, to justify the expanding prices. My favorite supers are T20, Zentorno, and the TurismoR, but it doesnt stop R* from making concept hyper cars. The only way to stop it is to deter kids from using sharks to buy the newest crazy car, but considering most of em never visit this forum, good luck with that. We def need more variety, but variety doesnt move sharks, bottom line is T2 doesnt care what us fans want, only what his investors want. If Muscle cars moved more sharks than supers, we would never see another super, but that isnt the case with this generation.

Easy.

Put more muscle cars at Benny's (and I mean muscle cars, not lowriders).

Boom, Shark Card bait, gearhead bait, everyone's happy.

It's not just about microtransactions - it's also because R*'s been pretty lousy about how they interact with players, and how they gather feedback. So much of it seems to come from their internal stat tracking, and ...there's a big problem with that, namely:

How can you gauge interest/demand for something that doesn't exist? :turn:

I.e., R* adds a load of high-end things, particularly supers, but barely touches proper muscle cars, compacts, sedans, imports, etc. Players are left with a choice: buy nothing, and have their GTAO experience stagnate, or buy something new, which means most likely a supercar or similar.

R* looks at trends in player behaviour and purchases, and sees that supercars, luxury cars, weaponised vehicles, etc. are selling well (because that's all there is), and so they figure "let's add more of those, since that's what people want".

Meanwhile, stuff that's been neglected doesn't get bought (because again, good luck try buying anything that got added to the Compacts class in 2017!), which is most likely interpreted as a lack of demand - completely ignoring the very real possibility that said demand may actually exist, but not in a way that R* pays any attention, and so the problem is instead a lack of supply from R*. See how that works?

Every time I race with randoms, it's almost always those three vehicle classes, and it's repetitive as hell. I think it's ironic when everybody wants to use the fastest vehicles, but then half of them can't even drive those vehicles properly lol.

That's exactly what's going on, at least for many of us on the forums. I still have at least a few super cars that come to mind that I want to get eventually... but hopefully not for a while because we need some goddamn vehicles in the other classes too. I think the Muscle class has the most vehicles, or is at least among the top vehicle classes in terms of quantity, but the last NEW muscle car we got was the Nightshade, and then after that it was just variations of other stuff (which isn't bad, but we shouldn't get more variants of existing stuff than completely new cars IMO). We have not gotten a new sedan, compact, coupe, SUV (an actual SUV, not a custom pick-up truck) and a whole bunch of other things in a long time, and we need some of that. And if the next update is a hipster update, in some form or another, many of us are hoping this update will scratch that itch of wanting new vehicles for those other classes.

100% agree, spot on...

Much like going to a live WWE event, they'll have Stone Cold, The Rock, Undertaker, John Cena and Roman f*cking Reigns T-Shirts a-plenty...

Try and buy a mid-carders merch...

'Oh, I'm sorry, we sold out... Would your son like a Shield T-Shirt'...

Can't not get my boy something at an event like that (UK get's only a few a year, his first, bless), but piss off...

We wanted Kane!!!

please stop me

Not to fussed about receiving super cars, I like them especially vintage and concept models.

Now that we are getting the Hunter, for me at least the next major throwback we need is the Deluxo.

Yep - a thousand times, yep. Muscle car enthusiasts got the Nightshade in 2015 alongside a bunch of high-end SecuroServ stuff, and street racing/import enthusiasts got the Elegy Retro a year later, alongside ...a bunch more high-end SecuroServ stuff. :turn:

A proper petrolhead/car customisation update, with a good 18 or so vehicles, new properties/organisations based around car culture, and with a decent split of muscle, tuners, and maybe a few 'wild card' customs (a hot rod, a lead sled, a full-on bōsōzoku bike, etc.) to round it out - I guarantee it'd be one of the most popular updates ever added to the game, considering how many people across the entire GTAO community have been asking for that sort of thing over the years.

I don't mind supers, I just feel like they do take up space for cars that wouldn't sell as well but would be equally beloved, and they definitely do go with WAAAY too many concept cars... on the other hand, some of the concepts cars like the XA21 and Vagner are great IMO, I even love the Lotus concept elements in the Tempesta. Would be nice if they stuck with a blend of classic supers and modern production supers and just added minor elements from concepts to those without ruining the blend of inspirations.

@commander. I think perceived value also has a lot to do with it. Supers and Sports classics have massive price tags irl, so its easy to justify a massive price tag ingame. But most restored Muscle cars irl (unless they have options that make them extremely rare) go for 50 - 150k tops. Making them cost 2 mill ingame for cars that are slower and dont handle corners, sours the deal for the average shark consumer. What would change the stigma imo is use benny's mods to make them as fast and handle as good as most supers. It woulsd be easy imo since all cars only go around 150mph on vertical pavement. Make the Benny's upgrade turn them into sports/super class similar to the Banshee 900R, but with OPTIONAL Bodykits n Accesories. Most ppl i meet hate driving my Mamba since it has lots of oversteer, but love my entity. Make the stock version handle like a reg muscle, but the Benny's handle like a Trans Am racer.

I only want the 458/488 and (if it wouldn't count as a Sports Classic) EB110. Rest is meh.
