They gave us yachts and listen to you now. Some people cannot be pleased. They will be giving us a long anticipated Hunter helicopter soon. People are already saying they hope it's a flying tank - which isn't gonna happen. I love the Sharkcard rhetoric too.

You're missing out on Piracy Prevention, the easiest $30K that you and your associates can make in ten minutes. Put your yacht up north and people wont bother you. Ive ran hundreds of Piracy Prevention jobs with my friends that Ive made back nearly twice the cost of my yacht. $30K x 300 Piracy jobs is $9M. Ive done around 500 of them.

 

EDIT: And why does this forum keep removing apostrophes from some of the contractions Ive typed?

Doesn't defending that armored van for 10 minutes give you the same cash but cost less? Also, lol spend $8mill guy you can make $30k every hour, you'll make your money back in no time and soon enough be richer than before guy, don't think about it too hard guy, trust me. Just 550 hours of nothing but waiting on a yacht and you'll be twice as rich guy!

Some people say they hope the Hunter is a flying tank? Arent you aware that players can access the Hunter in certain hangar resupply missions already? The missile barrage option is dominant.

Nah see thats where youre wrong. All of my friends own yachts, so we hop from one yacht to the next and run 4 PP jobs in an hour with the five minute cooldowns in between. $120K/hr.

 

And yes Fortified gives you $35K but the difference is that its not sharable cash. I usually give money to my friends since Im in the ballpark of $300M. Neither job costs any money except regular CEO bills.

Its not the only thing we do. It gets thrown into the mix, especially when we need a ten minute break from I/E, Biker, and Bunker jobs.

I don't miss the RR (Rooftop Rumble) days myself. The money sure but I recall having both RR and Coveted burned into my retinas. As much as people hate crates. I can't get enough. You can do them as fast as you want for a flat pay rate. Same goes for Import/Export. No catches other then maybe R* eventually patching the MTU glitch.

Thats always what I think when watching the Special Vehicle list. Hence also why I'm opposed to new R* policy to condition a mission to the purchase of a new vehicle. It was ok for the yacht, but initially its just a yacht, its not supposed to make money. Its a purely mundane item.

I am a little confused as to why it's speculated that they won't release anything on the 14th due to L.A. Noire. I don't see why they wouldn't release anything for that week just because of that. Can someone explain this to me?

I speculate it might be because R* doesn't want players distracted that day playing GTA for the "new"... plane? and want them playing LA Noire again

People won't stop playing gta that day because of the reason that there's no plane and release of L.A Noire. The people that are interested in L.A Noire will get it even if a plane comes out or not. If this is R* marketing logic they fail imo because not everyone have the money to buy L.A Noire that day either and may have to wait until next salary.

I'm not getting L.A Noire and don't think many if any of the people I know will get it either but I'm not surprised if R* doesn't release a vehicle that day/week because of L.A Noire

what real funny is the fact, that normally I am the one who critizises the moaners, who want everything and more and more...

 

But you have to separate a bit the ones, who are happy with every free dlc and dont cry for more all the time and the ones who cant get satisfied anyway.

 

95% of the dlc are fine to me, but the yacht is very very expensive when you take a look at what you can do with it.

PP is 10 minutes of doing nothing, thats the best example for the yacht "activities"

Still, my yacht cost me just over $10M with changes applied after initial purchase, and I estimated around 500 PP jobs completed, whether I hosted or helped friends, roughly $15M earned. So $5M profit in nearly 23 months of yacht ownership thanks to a little help from my friends.

 

EDIT: 23 months of yacht ownership but I honestly didnt take advantage of VIP mode much until CEO mode hit 6 months after E&OC dropped back in 12/15. So really I earned that in 17 months. Never mind all the $25Ks for Executive Search jobs.

Mansions is just my speculation. Just some sh*t out of my head. There is nothing to "confirm".
