They don't really need to finish with a bang tbh, what with the next update coming out only a week or so after but I do see your point.

 

For some weird reason I can see why they priced the Lazer at 6.5 million. People have been wanting to just own the damn thing for the longest now, if even just as a collector's item lol. Stealing it from the military base repeatedly got tiring for people so Rockstar decided to just let us buy it once and for all.. while oddly at the same time allowing us to purchase hangars in Zancudo and get no military attention

 

They're clearly taking advantage of our desire to buy this damn thing since 2013 lol and in a big way too.

Seeing stuff like this happening is what gives me hope about GTA online not dying soon, there is so much potential just from community requests that you can always throwback to the fans for when you dont have any good ideas at the time

If they are planning on skipping the 14th they could also do the following...

 

Nov 7th - Nokota AND Cyclone

Nov 21st - Hunter AND Lazer

 

Nov 28th - New Update

I don't see how something coming out on the 14th would interfere with buying LA Noire

It's not going to be the Hunter coming out that day....

And also, you can play GTA for what like an hour to play with the new toy then go play some LA Noire. It's just a f*cking plane or car, not a full fledged DLC

Again, it's not about the actual content it's about attention being given to it when the L.A. Noire re-release needs the spotlight. Rockstar have skipped drip feed plenty of times before in order to give attention to something related to another one of their titles.

 

In fact, that's precisely why we never got a drip fed vehicle the week after Smuggler's Run came out since that's when they announced the re-release in the first place (Thursday, September 7th). We would have gotten a vehicle otherwise on the 5th that week.

 

They did it again for the week of October 23rd, we would have gotten a drip fed vehicle on the 24th but because of the Transform Races event week as well as the L.A. Noire 4K trailer on the 26th that week, we didn't get a vehicle on the 24th for the second time in a row after they skipped the 17th as well (for Transform Races mind you! Something in the game itself).

 

They've done the same thing when RDR2 marketing needed the spotlight instead. Some of you here must really not understand how a business works.

Most of us understand "business" just fine. We're shaking our heads at how single-tracked the marketing department at Rockstar acts and how they are so condescending to the playerbase to act like we can't handle more than one new thing at a time, either. Maybe they transferred the person that decided that "dripfeed = one item or less per week" is acceptable. If they had treated the Freeroam Events like this back in September 2015 then we probably would only have gotten to "Longest wheelie" this week.

Wish they'd hurry up and get their skates on with releasing the Transform Race Creator. Best thing that came with Smugglers Run :p

 

I bloody hope they don't do a stupidly long dripfeed during the December update. It'll be Christmas, we deserve it all in one hit :p

OK can someone fill me in on what the Hunter and Lazer are?

Hunter is an attack helicopter, think Savage but more deadly.

Lazer is a jet with missiles and normal machine gun cannons. Think Hydra but less powerful and more agile/maneuverable.

That's incorrect, the Lazer is equipped with explosive ammo just like the Hydra.

Unfortunately they'll do it for sure..:/ last year they did it with I/E DLC if I do remember correctly.

Meanwhile in an alternate universe R* releases all the dripfeed content first, and then the rest of the update piece by piece :lol:

Why waste 6 million? I plan on buying 4 of them because, one I love the Lazer and two, I can paint it.

You only need buy one because is a Pegasus plane.

 

 

 

Jumping from the roof of the best office (Lombank) and catching my chromed Lazer on the beach and activating Headhunter and kill everyone, is priceless.

Damn I forgot about that. You are correct it is a pegasus vehicle. Im so used to the dripfeed planes on warstock. Edited by _47_
