Let me ask

What kind of dlc will make you leave GTAO for a period.

Something that adds some stupidly overpowered weapon or vehicle that ruins heli-flying.

 

It'd be incredibly difficult to top the stuff they've already added, so I don't see an update driving me away from the game. No, I'll just stop playing when it feels right. Which isn't now, since I have an incredible Hunter to play with.

 

I don't know why people feel the need to discuss when they're going to stop every day, to be honest. Just stop when it feels right to stop. It's not something that's going to be planned, just go with the vibes.

Nothing, I'm down for pretty much anything and in it for the long haul. It probably helps that ive gotten nearly every specific thing i either added to the chorus asking for or hoped in the back of my head that would get added, usually something very niche, like the Turismo Classic and Torero, and then years down the line it happens to be added. I have serious critiques still and certainly do not consider myself a fanboy, but I'll freely admit that R* has slowly won me over through dedicated fan service. Look at my posts from years ago, I was constantly fighting with RagednCaged (back then ShadowOp) about how I thought the game was over and starting to suck...

 

Really, RS Sultan/Mamba/FMJ/Penetrator/Sports Classic collections/APC/Thermal scope/FCR/Manchez!/XR750 (dirt tracker)/Nakota (Rustler)/Havok (it's a little Willie with a cockpit and no wheels) and of course the Hunter plus a bunch more I'm forgetting. I KNOW there are serious flaws and issues with the game, many of which will not be fixed, but despite that R* has slowly won me over through adding the things i always daydreamed about being in the game. The flaws still stand but I'm forgiving as i really do enjoy almost everything that gets added to some extent. I plan to keep playing as the things I've wanted most are just arriving, I will play until VI comes out barring some apocalyptic catastrophe.

I think it is cool that they are doing this Featured Playlist thing again, gives a bit of diversion when playing the game, by playing a set of different modes.

 

However, I think this feature is flawed at the moment, because there is no other way to join in the playlist when you have allready started up the game.

And due to the fact that the Playlist is only accessible through the start loading menu, the player numbers are very minimal, and minimal playernumbers take away from the fun and enjoyment of many modes, especially adversarial modes.

 

So I really hope that the next Update introduces a feature to agglomerate a good amount of players in a playlist with a varied selection of modes.

Something like a "Featured Playlist" quick job option would do the job, and it would be even better if the "Featured Playlist" would be updated every event week with a new set of modes.

I would love to experience some classic modes like Last Team Standing and Capture again with more players taking part. Especially the User Made LTS from the Last Team Standing Update were really top notch.

I have feeling the Cyclone will be held for last as it's the only car left and this is kinda the dripfeed for an aircraft DLC... kinda makes sense for them to prioritize the the things that fly.

Well Gun Running and Smugglers Run got me real close to leaving the game, so something among the lines of this:

 

-Needing to research to unlock DLC itens;

-Needing a special garage to store the new DLC vehicles;

-Adds a cancerous OP vehicles that is barely touchable by conventional means, completing with OP homing rockets and that can be called next to your feet using MC menu;

-Tryhard themed overall;

-Very, VERY expensive in general;

-A new supercar that effectively ruins racing for all other cars.

Machine guns. They are certainly the weaker of all the possibilities, but worth it if you are capable of taking stuff down with Buzzard Mgs. I got good with them when I would be doing the air cargo bombing mission with the Seabreeze. If you can take out the perusing enemy planes in that mission, I'd say they're worth getting. If you do, I recommend to steer with your stick when firing on anything in the air, yaw steering is a bit too responsive and leads to not connecting as much as if you were steering (gently) with the stick. I got em may not worth it for the casual pilot or collector though.

Took down a Hydra with those MGs on the Seabreeze in a dogfight today. If you keep them on the target they can deal damage quite well.

I think on the Thursday or Friday after the Lazer ends the drip feed we'll get a Newswire post telling us the next update is coming the following Tuesday along with info/screenshots/trailer.

Smuggler's Run. Oh wait, that already made me leave for a few months... So, Smuggler's Run Part II, and well, honestly any update that has weaponized vehicles that are hella powerful but have paper thin armor, or no armor at all (glares at my Vigilante). Anything boat centric or plane centric. I'm not a boat or plane guy. One or two, even three or four I'm fine with but if it's nothing but boats and planes with two cars tossed in to shut up the "Hey, this Grand Theft AUTO not Grand Theft Aero or Grand Theft Nautical!" crowd. I will say, as an honorable mention, if we don't get a hot rod/muscle car/Muscle Vs. Tuner/off road vehicle style update, I'll be pretty pissed. I would consider leaving but only if I had something else to play, like NFS Payback or The Crew 2. Other than that, even though the game is going down the sh*tter because of the constant in your face Shark Card pushing, I'll still play, because, in the end, you can't do everything you can do in GTAO in a different game. And don't even say, "Irish, what about Saints Row?" Saints Row is dead to me.

+1 Same here. Lately I have not played anymore because the latest updates were not for me (Gunrunning; Smuggler's Run). I hope the next update will return to the old routes. But with weaponized vehicles again I don't know what to say...

Probably another thats flooding the marked with weaponized vehicles, i mean the Halloween tunables unlock has made me abandon it for Spintires Mud Runner and NFS 2015 so i get a break from the Vigilante VS The World, like seriously, im on a BMX Bike, Whyd you have to shoot a rocket at me?

Me too but I don't think it's going to happen. My hopes for a mansion in the end of year update were shot to sh*t the second I found out the update is INAH2. It just doesn't fit the theme of the update at all. Quite the opposite actually.

 

Now I'm just hoping they at least give us some long overdue beach houses in Chumash. That would at least somewhat fit the theme of the update.

Hmm. Im not a hipster and mansions. Maybe we are the hipsters because we dont like purchasing expensive stupid sh*t in the game and we complain about it,yet we do it anyways (wed all prob buy mansions no matter the price even tho we already have multiple apartments, an office with a huge garage) idk how else youd make a connection but thats all I got.

If it's not possible for them to add anymore garage space, for whatever reason, I'd still take a mansion with it's own 'Johnny on the spot'/secretary service, so to speak. Where you could just have any car, from any 1 of your properties, spawned right outside your mansion when you leave it.
