Why do people think they can release a vehicle during an event (31st October) - which they can, but they won't do anything on the 14th of November because of LA: Noire - when they can? The tunable updates are solid - they have to update for a new race/ time trial anyway.

I actually do expect a vehicle on November 14th. LA Noire is so insignificant to me.

As far as I see it, they either have to release a vehicle on this coming Tuesday and the 14th of Nov, or release 2 at once on certain days.

 

From all the hints, it seems like the next update is coming on either the 5th or 12th of December. To stick to this, they can't skip any more days.

Theres already guaranteed to be at least 2 weaponized vehicles in the next update.

I dont see them releasing two vehicles in one day so its going to be interesting how the rest of the drip feed goes.

That is a good point.

 

They're definitely gonna do a post about the new premium race at the 14th's week, as there is gonna be a new one and probably a event with our usual bonuses/ discounts. But I can't see them doing a whole event just with it, mid-dripfeed, avoiding adding a vehicle just to make it a little less flashy because of LA Noire re-release.

October 31st speculatively speaking sounds like a pipe dream to me. The chances are very likely no vehicle will be dropping that day. Just my pocket change making noise tho.

Probably not, but if they made a race that included the Roosevelt, that would be nice.

Eh, whatever. The Hunter will be released November/ December. So I get it before 2018, it's good enough for me. I'm not begging for leaks or any of that bullSh*t. I can take it or leave it at this point since the dripfeed killed any motivation I had at expecting new content to be delivered in full.

This was my feeling seeing both Hunter and Lazer being the last ones and it sounds even more likely with the dripfeed's current state.

 

It looks weird to avoid releasing two vehicles pretty similar to each other class-wise in the same event and go for splitting them in two consecutive weeks.

I just think they are gonna push out the next update a little early to maximize Shark Card income during the lead up to Christmas holidays, then release the really good dripfeed cars in January/Febuary and end with the Valentines Day event.

I wholeheartedly agree. I think they will come out on seperate days.

 

Even if they release one on the 21st and the other on the 28th they can still drop the new update on Dec 5th and have almost 3 weeks of Shark Card sales leading up to Christmas.

 

Hell you could probably count the weeks from the 21st to the new update in that scenario too. So many little kids are going to be begging mommy and daddy for shark cards to buy a shiny new Hunter/Lazer.

I better start the long, hard grind now so I have enough to get whatever I want on release day. This is also the first update where I won't be spending for 2 characters as I retired my second character for the time being. Very excited for the theme if Yan is serious, sounds like it has the potential to be quite an eclectic mixture of vehicles... I'm not even too annoyed that there will be more weaponized vehicles either, if predictions about 20-30 vehicles is accurate there will be plenty of room left for odd and rare choices (hopefully). It being teased as Hipsters 2.0 has me fairly optimistic!

About the new update, quoting this from August:

If I'm not mistaken, it's usually three weeks of it being updated before something new being released. I have the impression this had been going on for two weeks now.

 

I went to FoxySnaps' Twitter and his first tweet regarding QABeta updates was on the 2nd of this month. Next Wednesday marks three weeks after the first update, precisely after the release of the final dripfeeding vehicle, the Ardent.

I remember him posting a calendar that marked QABeta updates and actual update releases. I don't have this saved with me and I can't go that far back on mobile on his Twitter to find it. If someone has that saved, maybe we could find a pattern.

 

Either way, things are getting interesting.

June 13th: Gunrunning release

Now

August 2nd: Started updating qabeta for first time

-27 days later-

August 29th: Next update release ?

I would be surprised if this is true but I can't see them releasing it this early.

Part of the event (discounts, premium race, etc) will end but much of what's listed is available until the 6th.

I honestly think the weaponized vehicles could be boats what other land vehicles could they add?
