I love the content, just hate the release structure. I would be elated if they even reliably released 2 each week or event. It's just so, SOOOO slow. I want my Hunter and Rustler. To be clear, it would still be a bother even if it was just another drip of cars or Weaponized Vehicles... It's the structure, the waiting 1-2 weeks to even start the drip, skipping as many releases as they can to stretch it as far as possible. It really does progressively annoy me more with each dripfeed. That sinking feeling when my worst fears were confirmed and the Hunter was dripfodder and not included on release day lol, i remeber joking about them doing it. Bastards.

Wrong! I personally would prefer it if they would release everything at day 1. That would mean i could buy the new content when I want and enjoy it at my own pace. I would have stuff to enjoy during the 2 month waiting period instead of having nothing at all.

 

Thank you^ Agree 100 billion%I don't agree with this, we had longer waiting periods, the content that we received from the update before getting a new one wasn't enough to fill up the lack of content during the waiting time, and look, i am not supporting dripfeeding the way it is right now, i think it could've been better but at least with the current pattern, there's something that's added to the game almost every Tuesday (and yes, before someone start explaining the obvious, i know it is not really "added" it is just enabled by tunables and was part of the original package of the update, i know all that crap)

Im speculating that the dripfeed might be shorter probably because we are getting the valentine dlc this year unlike last year.

It's Rockstar way of dripfeeding that bothers me. Locking crappy useless vehicles that could of been in the update and releasing them week by week and giving us the best for last.

That's the new pattern to extend the drip-feed until it's about one or two weeks before they release a new update.

We will have everything by the first week of december and the week after they would release/announce the new update.

condemned adversary mode? can someone fill me in on how that's going to run?

A mix of FFA and LTS with four players, one player becomes Condemned and have to kill one of the others to pass the status.

As time goes, the Condemned gets eliminated and it starts again with three players until one player remain.

Yeah, but that was basically just a way to re-add the borked original Valentine's Day stuff back in (after the outcry over R* not making it available in 2015), along with new versions of that same stuff for people who had the original stuff already.

 

We didn't get anything this year, so I'm guessing R* considers that to be sufficient V-day stuff...

Imagine if the next update will be the "Midnight Club" update that adds new tuners and muscle cars. You can buy a new tune shop that acts like a business similar to the bunker. There will be research for new body kits and liveries. Watch something like that happen.

We aren't mad. We are very happy and elated about not expecting anything today. We are only mad about not knowing what the theme is for the next DLC is all. You know. DLC Speculation stuff.

Well if the content would not be enough for the long waiting period it would also not be enough for the long dripfeed period. If 90% of the content is crap it will be crap no matter if they release it day one or stretch it out over 2 month.

But if they would release everything day 1 the crap would be out of the way day 1 and you could enjoy the 10% you like instead of getting fed crap for 9 weeks, waiting for the 10% you want.

Unfortunately, I highly doubt the next update in December will be "Midnight Club" The newswire mentioned New business purchase and weaponized vehicles. In my opinion, it will be a sea-based business update with weaponized watercrafts.

If they would release something so ridiculous as that(even though I like the BatWing, it always felt to me that it didn't fit with Batman), I'd rather have Fort Zancudo UFO, the stealth one that has the words REARRANGE AND SEGREGATE written on top of its windshield.

I can take some examples of this said content, remember how we were waiting for the DOD to get released? And how we were complaining about the fact that they left it to the end of SVR's dripfeed schedule, we got it, played with it for few weeks and that was it, was it a "crap" content? Nope, awesome vehicle and it was highly anticipated but that was it, very rarely when i see someone driving one right now, same goes for most pieces of content, the Hunter is highly requested helicopter, a lot of us want it, i want it, but i can see it facing the same situation after its release, maybe the hunter is kinda special because the wait for it was longer and longer than the usual content but still only few of us will be flying it after the third or fourth week of its release.

 

Again, i am certainly not trying to justify or agree with the current stat and schedule of dripfeed but it still better than having everything on day one of the release of the update in my opinion.
