I'd be happy to get the ugly, generic looking electric rimjob car out of the way, but I'm betting we'll get another plane tomorrow because well, odds.

Beachbum 2 people ;)

I'm not a Beach Hipster:

-Houses in Del Perro Beach, Chumash and Mirror Park.

-Muscle, compact, classic cars and off-road.

-2-3 new boats.

-70-80s clothes.

-Chainsaw, katana, flamethrower.

Nothing more needed. Book it.

Im only messing around but who knows it could be a throwback, it would be nice

adversary mode: a half track against loads of havoks

That literally sounds like a possible new Adversary Mode.

If a second "I'm Not A Hipster update" can give us new muscle cars, compacts and off-road vehicles, I'll be happy with that.

And houses in Mirror Park!

Honestly I could go on for hours on good cars to add with another I'm not a Hipster update.

Heh - I already indulged in a bit of that in the Vehicle Wishlist thread... ;)

It'd be the ideal update for some more everyday things (sedans, compacts, etc.), retro cult classics (Deluxo would be right up on that particular list...), plus more 'niche' things that don't necessarily fit in with other themes (hot rods, lead sleds - IMO, a Hipster sequel update would be the perfect time/place to add the Hermes).

That was the great thing about the original - you had more recent things like the Panto, then much older things like the Blade, plus the vehicle selection covered a decent cross-section of classes (compacts, sedans, muscle, sports classics, off-road). The nearest R*'s done since was Bikers - or rather, the Biker's drip-feed, with the Raptor, Tornado Rat Rod, and Youga Classic.

The variety of cars we got in that update is one of the reasons why I appreciate it so much, even if it's not my absolutely favorite update. That's why I'm praying we get something else besides more European supers and sports cars. I know I sound like another broken record, but we just need a break, that's all.

Are you a hipster?

*twiddles waxed moustache, chokes down a kale smoothie while grimacing*

Uh, dude - hipsters are, like, so 2014, yanno? :p

(actual answer: HECK NOPE - although I have nothing but praise for hipster GTAO updates, since the last one gave us so much good stuff! ;))

I wonder if there's any possible way the dripfeed could be sped up a little? Or at least rearranged a bit, so certain vehicles come earlier than expected?

I just want to be able to sh*t out bombs on people.

Literally just hovering over and cr*pping on people. I need it.

What about a trailer? So you can live in a rusty Journey and travel around SA. You can also access the interior like the MOC, change your clothes and smoke some weed.

I just want cop cars like the interceptor can be modifed and stored, i mean come on the beta ver can be modded

I still think that it's a crime (heh) that we don't at least have an old cop car available - Bluesmobile car chases, anyone?

But yeah, it's daft that players can have the freakin' Batmobile, and purchase properties at Fort Zancudo (which lets them work on a military base with security clearance), but having something that even looks like a cop car? Nope - that's where R* draws the line. :rol:

I just realized the last American car we got was almost a year ago with bikers. The retinue is actually a European based car. The last car was the underwhelming youga classic, and the tornado ratrod. Before that it was the FMJ from 1.5 years ago. For a game based in America, they are lacking in the domestic car culture.

Radio update when?

Just had one.

The Lab doesnt count lol.

Shadowfennekin

I'd love it if R* FINALLY allowed us to buy beach houses... I'd actually buy one along the Ocean Highway now that I have a Hangar at Zancudo. It wouldn't be too far out of the way.

The way it should've been from the start. If R* wasn't so ridiculous this could've been used to source crates on the move and collect multiple ones at a time. They could've taken a good amount of money from us giving us the ability to add upgrades to the Brickade

Hey, we've gotten other things that were previously restricted. Maybe storeable emergency vehicles are next on the list for R* to add to the game.

And it would be nice to customize RV's now that I think about it. They could basically be a watered-down MOC, without the weapons and customization workshops, and just the bed and the closets.

...stupid idea, but seeing as R*'s now seemingly a lot more lax on letting players:

- own things like the Lazer

- own properties at Fort Zancudo, with security clearance and reduced wanted levels

- own what is essentially a crime-fighter's vehicle (the Vigilante)

- run a weapons research/delivery operation at the behest of GTA's answer to the CIA

...maybe something like a 'Cops & Crooks' update, or maybe a vigilante/bounty hunter update where 'you're not really cops, but kinda', isn't beyond the realms of possibility now - ?

I used to sh*t on the idea, but I'm actually warming up to a cops and crooks dlc. Very unlikely, but the idea is growing on me. Optimally it would have two avenues, clean and dirty.

Not to drift too far into 'Next GTA' territory instead of 'Next DLC', but I kinda think that for GTA VI, one way R* could so something more meaningful with the character-switching mechanic (other than just 'you have multiple characters and can switch between them, but they play almost exactly the same), is to have two characters: one a criminal, the other a cop/detective/federal agent.

In other words, rather than just borrowing some of the superficial look/feel/scenes from

, instead do something similar to the character dynamic between Neil McCauley and Vincent Hanna. Either that, or the other thing that springs to mind is
, with the whole 'undercover cop vs. bent cop' angle...

...but yeah, as much as 'Cops & Crooks' has long been something I've thought was lower on the priorities list than, say, a tuner update (R*, you're killing me, here... :sigh:), compared to recent updates, it'd actually be a refreshingly-grounded change of pace... :p

I'd play that.

Seeing as we haven't gotten an Elitas vehicle yet, hopefully we'll get the Howard tomorrow.

I remember R* F*ggot saying that they initially had the idea of making GTA Online where you can either play as a regular criminal or as a police officer. It's hard to imagine what that could've been like, but he said they thought it would've been a bad idea, and I think I can sort of agree with him on that. If they were to add the ability to play as a cop, I imagine in free-roam you can "register" to become a cop, and maybe they could make it so you have to not be a psycho to be able to become one. Maybe they could make it so you can be undercover and still look like a civilian, or be a regular cop that goes around in a regular police car and can look through the police computer and look for crimes to stop (these could be free-roam missions with NPC's). I think there's a bunch of things they could do with this, and of course I'm sure they'll put in several ways to make it PvP too. They could also add Cops 'N' Crooks and Busted Adversary modes or something like that (at least they'll be already popular game modes).

$1 million? Wow, I'd be really happy if R* put out an update with cheap content like that for a change... :p

:sui:

(I am still utterly mind-boggled by the fact that R* added the Lazer, but at a price comparable to a lower-end yacht - and in the same update as they let players work out of Fort Zancudo, and steal functionally-identical Lazers for free... :beerhat:)

We already own more than Bruce Wayne now:

-Access permit of Fort Zancudo, and own the hangar inside.

-Top technologies like Oppressor.

-Super rich assets and properties/ superyacht/ supercars/ 9 floors personal vehicles showroom in Maze Bank Tower.

-Own military vehicles like Bombushka/ hunter/ APC/ MOC.
