How about a dlc with future theme, concept vehicles, future technology, fashions, interior decorations, AI.

Rexx approves.that would be cool, why look at the past when the future is much more interesting

How about the complete opposite. Realistic vehicles, technology, fashion, and interior decorations from a time in history where generally things were quality made, with class. Content from a more wholesome time in history when things were handcrafted. A time when people were proud to own what they worked for.

How about cars/clothes/content from 1900-1975.

1970 Dodge Challenger R/T?

1970-73 Pontiac Firebird?

1971 Chevrolet Caprice?

1966 Chevrolet Camaro?

1952 Hudson Hornet?

Yes please. Id love a classic car update.

I would also like some sort of offroad theme. Liftkits for truck and cars. Stuff like take a gauntlet, raise the suspension and put pushbars, additional lights and spare tires on it.

How about cars/clothes/content from 1900-1975.

How about extending that to ...2017? Because it's not the era that's the issue, IMO - it's disproportionate focus on exorbitant, high-end things, all across the board.

Even something like the Rapid GT Classic - great car, and it's a change from cutting-edge hypercars and the like, but ...it's still a luxury Aston Martin, of the kind driven by rich playboys and paunchy executives. They're even harder to obtain now, having attained exotic/classic car status - meanwhile, I can get a similar-era Pontiac for a few grand, because more 'mundane', no-frills, consumer-grade muscle was never the exclusive preserve of the ultra-rich, and that's still true today.

It still frustrates me that R* assumes we're all aspiring to be that aforementioned kind of rich playboy, obsessed with visible signs of wealth, designer brands only, and splashing the cash on things that are the stereotype of 'luxury living'. And you know they do, because they centred three updates around 'that guy':

And there's more stuff that fits the same description than just those three updates, too. At this point, my attitude is firmly one of "well, f*** that guy!". :p

I really want to see more stuff taken from (to borrow a phrase from former Marvel Comics EiC Jim Shooter) "the world outside your window" - clothes/cars/etc. regular people buy, not just ultra-rich celebrities. Not that we should never have high-end stuff - simply that we've had so much over the last couple of years (because it's easier to charge $2 million in-game for a Murciélago than a Miata, obviously), that the GTAO 'marketplace' has become disproportionately saturated with that sort of thing.

Bring on something like a sequel to the Beach Bum update - or once again, I'm Not A Hipster. INAH was great, because it had everyday clothes, retro clothes, modern vehicles, older vehicles, higher-end vehicles, cheap commuter vehicles, etc. More variety and breadth of appeal in a single update than most of the last few years' updates combined - we're well overdue for something that achieves the same, says I. :rah:

Cut content often finds its way into the game eventually. An update with new heists in it would definitely be unexpected.

Rocket Voltic is fine by me, Mr. Patrick is a badass.

Same with the Ruiner 2k. Plenty of cars that can jump out there. Same with parachuting cars (Fast 7).

Well i did not know that something like this existed. Touche i guess.

Same with the Ruiner 2k. Plenty of cars that can jump out there. Same with parachuting cars (Fast 7).

Well its just the combination of all that (jump+parachute+rockets) that makes it a bit unfitting imo.

I know parachuting tanks and humvees (military airdrops) however a car that launches itself into the air and parachutes a couple of miles and fires multiple missiles while doing so just seems a bit stupid to me (and that from a guy who loves knight rider and owns a K.I.T.T. themed regular ruiner since late 2015).

Edit: And the f&f car never really parachuted, cgi made them parachute. Otherwise they would have been very flat by the time they landed.

Shadowfennekin

Something double money in FR would be preferred. I don't care what.... except CEO crates.

And more Heists would be nice! Especially as I feel most of us have given up hope on new Heists. It'd bring back a few amount of players too.

And they can always make Ill Gotten Gains 3 afterwards :p

Hipsters part 2!21211!!!

Someone said something about a vintage clothing store in the game already, I doubt they could open that up...could they? With a revolving door or a entry circle? I dunno,

I send a suggestion last week, heres hoping they implement it

There could be such pattern if there were as many hidden cars as planes, but there aren't.

If a second "I'm Not A Hipster update" can give us new muscle cars, compacts and off-road vehicles, I'll be happy with that.

Honestly I could go on for hours on good cars to add with another I'm not a Hipster update.

Heh - I already indulged in a bit of that in the Vehicle Wishlist thread... ;)

It'd be the ideal update for some more everyday things (sedans, compacts, etc.), retro cult classics (Deluxo would be right up on that particular list...), plus more 'niche' things that don't necessarily fit in with other themes (hot rods, lead sleds - IMO, a Hipster sequel update would be the perfect time/place to add the Hermes).

That was the great thing about the original - you had more recent things like the Panto, then much older things like the Blade, plus the vehicle selection covered a decent cross-section of classes (compacts, sedans, muscle, sports classics, off-road). The nearest R*'s done since was Bikers - or rather, the Biker's drip-feed, with the Raptor, Tornado Rat Rod, and Youga Classic.

-70-80s clothes.

-Chainsaw, katana, flamethrower.

Nothing more needed. Book it.
