You guys have no imagination if you think a stupid water DLC would come out after this, do you even understand what kinda flop that'd be ? sh*t it'd be funny as f*ck but Idk if R* is that dumb

New boats and floating sh*t, for a great big vast ocean of emptiness. lmao

 

I dont even hate the ocean its nicely detailed but without sea life its just literately a ocean of emptiness

What would you rather have them talk about? Casinos? Tuners? Clubs? Mansions? New heists? SoftSecrets *throws up a bit*? All were beaten to death over & over again.

 

We have nothing new to go on, zero, zip, zilch, nada. Might as well let them speculate on a "Naval DLC" & mess with the YouTubers until we have something solid to go on.

 

 

Edit: I know I know, I shouldn't have mentioned SS, but I was trying to make a point, I'll reset the Days Without SS timer.

I'm thinking next dlc won't be a business based one. "Naval" or not.

 

Maybe they announce transform races as a new one. Like Cunning Stunts: Transformation Circuit.

Im not gonna trust that they will suddenly make "creative and great" DLCs after 4 years...

 

But I pretty sure its gonna be on a similar level as Gunrunning and Smugglers Run

 

- another business with "mah" payouts

- place for customizing

- couple fast and silly boats (probably something with rockets and wings)

- maybe a big submarine ( they already have the model in the docks. They can implant it the same way they did with Tugboat )

- and another unjustified wipe/ban wave for legit players.

Squallo II classic? Cuban Jetmax? Smuggler? Thunder ripoff? Donzi go fast boats? The Hunton 43 Gazelle from Sahara? I'd totally buy them to be honest.

 

Also, I'd love to customize my boats.

I dont remember Mach saying this but I also could have missed his posts. I dont read every single post in this thread.

 

That being said...

 

Mach is a mod on these forums, not a Rockstar employee. His insight is definitely welcomed and more times than not he is probably right.

 

But based on the last 2 DLCs I would think a naval DLC is more than plausible in the future. It may not be the next DLC, but it could come eventually.

More like my foot in their ass DLC...

 

OT: Naval is meh to me as well, as much as I could probably enjoy some of the stuff from it. I want Cunning Stunts but for tuners and with no dev time being wasted on stunt tracks. Lot's of love for niches of the tuner scene, with a bit of clothing. All cars, a few clothing items. Like 25 cars, we all know what should be included, no need to go through all that right now.

But at least any new business related work would be Oppressor troll free. Those things can't swim or glide forever

Of course if R* does it, it won't be amazing. Some are lathering each other into a froth about it. It's pretty obvious R* has gone lazy and formulaic to those without beer goggles on.

 

What it'll be:

1. Expensive water vehicles with a personalized dock storage area. Chrome Kraken anyone?

2. More of the same rehashed fetch and return with little to no creativity in the missions. Limited quantity of them as well.

3. Bullsh*t spawn ins and Terminator AI to mess up any chance of success.

4. Forced public lobby.

5. Additional campy non-GTA content grafted in, for example, the batboat.

 

I forget who said it, this isn't the content the franchise should be getting, but it's the one it seems we deserve. The endless D grade content people accept is astounding. The only real effort is putting content to buy, not the playing mechanics.

 

A Naval DLC might not be as amazing as people are making it out to be. You might want to cut those expectations in half in order to see what you might expect at the end of the year or next year.

Doubtful. We will most likely get some sort of update in December based on past history.

Exactly, and on top of that it will get boring after a few days. I wouldn't want a naval dlc to be honest, I can't see anything interesting in it.

I'd be happy if we got some updates with new content only, not necessarily with "new" reused mission.

 

Something like the "I'm not a hipster" update, new vehicles and new guns, would make me happy: a simple of that with new content to play with, we already have enough ways to make money now
