Actually, no, I did that mission and while going as slow as f*cking possible without shutting of the engines, I still was going faster than the titan. I even shut them off once and I flew past it (and then down).

Def buying this plane when I get a hangar and whenever it goes on discount. My suggestions for: it should take 10 missiles to destroy and 15 explosive sniper rounds. Cargo door should be able to be opened and bomb capacity increased to 150. Oh and the speed should be similar to that of the Titan aswell. I was really hoping for this to be the most durable aircraft in the game. I'm sure it will get buffed slowly over time like the savage.

I only played a couple of rounds but I found it painful IMO.

Just gave me a headache. Didn't stick around long enough to find out the pay. Granted its a big ass heavy Cold War bombe so its going to be a bitch to fly but f*ck me that was torture flying that thing. Fly at this big lumbering aircraft in your Buzzards, swarm em with the machine gun, game over. If you have good gunners (and its easier on PC because of the mouse) then it can last longer but I will pass on future attempts at this.

Just wondering, did any of the people complaining about the cargo bay not being accessible ever attempt to load a Titan or a Cargo Plane with cars? Because in 95% of the occasions it ends with a big and bad explosion which results in the death of all the occupants.

Bombushka is more of a glider than a plane. You can just let go of the accelerator and it will keep it's altitude. Pretty cool if you want to drop bombs.

You may as well fly with the gear down as well, seeing as the gear doesn't add any drag to the aircraft and actually provides a little bit of lift.

 

@Prince - I don't know how you got the Bombushka flying faster than the Titan, unless you're comparing it to a mission-based Titan which flies at around 40mph (with the Bombushka getting up to about 80mph) and a normal Titan flown normally will do over 100mph.

Can't even man any of the guns if it's your plane? Hard pass. My friends are all into racing, so I just can't justify this. Howard is my next most anticipated in the schedule, so at least I won't have to wait long for that..

Valkyrie mk2 il be passing on this myself, only use my valks had is crashed straight into a building after purchase lol (and moved a few feet for painting)

Or though it may come in handy one day and it makes a nice ornament in my hanger

Bought the Bombushka damn what a waste of money. But the discount worked for me (only) paid the 4.5 million.

 

Is there at least a new Vip Mission for it like defend the plane for 10 minutes like with the Armored Boxville? I haven`t checked the vip missions before i have quit the game im to lazy to start it again.

Nope, no changes to handling. It's always been one of the fastest helis in the game though. People are surprised when I tell them it can outrun a Swift.

Wow. Just played that bombushka run. At first I was happy because I was pilot, but that plane is slower than the titan in the smuggler protection missions. I found myself asking how long does this damn mission last.

 

Yay, we were finally shot down. Other team starts and the guy can't fly, literally crashing into all the obstacles and is down in like a minute.

 

So we start next round and I'm disappointed I'm the pilot again. One of my team messages me and says just crash, they can't catch up. So I nose dive into the beach and to our surprise we don't blow up! I had to retake off and fly into the ocean.

 

Seemed like ages and only earned 40k, but at least the urge to buy the bombushka has gone.

I have a feeling that we were playing the same match haha

The idea is great but it could've been done better in my opinion.

Gotta be honest, even though all of us wanted the Hunter, I like the Tula the most outta this update. It's original (the Hunter is from previous GTAs), is one of the first combat planes to use the seaborne plane mechanic (which everyone seems to forget) and it's a VTOL. I was excited for JSOF supported take off to help with emergency situations, and the turret to snipe idiots who bought a new Molotok and decided not to upgrade it. It's a amazing plane, and I love it. So f*cking expensive though. Way to jump the shark card R*. That's the reason we're glitching, idiots.

 

Plus, the Alpha Z1 actually allows you to use smoke. Wow, why couldn't they do that for the sexy, sweet Mallard?

I dunno... maybe some work from Rashkovsky in the next update.... he owes us one, we have after all we've busted him out of jail god knows how many times, risked getting blown up by jets and then flying him to safety in an aircraft made of petrol soaked balsa wood with armour made of brown paper... =D seriously though.. is it possible?

I'm buying mine for freeroam rampages with cops, certain missions and some pvp but I'm not getting any ac-130 vibes from it... would have preferred a Titan with mounted weaponry instead of this ol' Russian bomber but that's just my opinion. It's more B-29 (four props, bomb bay, dorsal/ventral turrets and tail gun) than AC-130, but shrunk down to medium-size and less interesting. It's a fortified bomber, not a ground-attack aircraft.
