I know im a looney for thinking this but I can't wait for the Lazer to release in November because I know at the end is the mystery DLC which is supposed to be a "huge" update. I hope it's something worthy like Mansions or a Vinewood/ Vespucci Beach Property Expansion.

I am quite interested in seeing what this large update is tho, and im putting it out there, a map expansion would go well with a Somalian pirate DLC because you could attack ships and then smuggle between the cities

A huge update is speculated to come out in december as every year and no, that does not confirm a map expansion in any way.

More heists would be perfect, at least for me. Or some special ops from Agent 14 that don't require a f*cking truck costing 2 million to launch them. Still a lot of fetch quests would be involved, but some variety is also possible.

 

But they still would monetize it to hell. Buy a pricey warehouse to store equipment, with an operational center complete with your personal Intel team to supply you with information to commence raids all over San Andreas. IN FREEROAM BABYYYY! With a small payout that can't be divided like in Heists. And you have to pay 10 grand for your heist haven every day. Also upgrades. And research.

 

But tbh, I'm just so desperate for heists at this point I would probably eat that sh*t up.

 

Although heists are kind of dead now, that's a shame.

I made a line graph showing the vehicles combined over $1,000,000 per update. My spreadsheet does not contain any discounts do to Import/export, gunrunning, and smuggler's run being the only updates to have discounts for vehicles. It also does not include ANY UPGRADES for the vehicles listed.

You're not wrong (GTAForums represents the much more die-hard fanbase of the series/R* games in general, and that's not always indicative of the average player's tastes/opinions), but with Bikers, a better gauge was a lot of the talk on places like Twitter, YouTube, etc., where it was a popular idea.

 

Going by that, some kind of import tuner thing is ...right up there with map expansion and mansions/the casino in terms of 'things I see/hear pop up again and again'. There was that whole 'Tuners & Outlaws' thing last year, a bunch of the usual suspects on YouTube have periodically chimed in with things along the lines of "you know what we need? A tuner update of some kind", and even after Benny's was added with Lowriders, the broader reaction was "oh, wow - does that mean that after Lowriders, we can have the Tuners update, the Hot Rods update, etc.?". People almost saw it as a given that we'd be getting different kinds of custom vehicle DLCs in the manner of Lowriders...

 

...and then E&OC happened, people spent megabucks on it (and IIRC, people were a bit underwhelmed by the Lowrider missions, hence why we didn't get more with Custom Classics), and pretty much everything since save for Cunning Stunts has been a variation on the 'SecuroServ Online' Freemode model.

 

 

Still reasonably confident that it's right up there in terms of popularity - people still largely regard the Elegy Retro as one of the better vehicles added to the game, and love things with decent customisation in general (Rapid GT Classic, for one), so it's not like it's a huge risk on R*'s part to take a punt and finally do it.

The new nba2k games has a sh*t ton of mircotransactions vc points as they called for my career mode.

 

And it's sitting at a mostly negative rating on steam.

Particularly the sports games fans - after all, that's why EA and Konami have done so well from their sports titles: because fans of those games really will pay full AAA-game retail price for little more than a roster update...

Mansions are probably the most requested thing I've seen, now that the Hunter is (soon to be) out.

 

And purchaseable police cars. And while to do understand that R* doesn't seem to want players to be impersonating cops- Vigilante modes were a fun part of almost every prior GTA game.

People, this is me speculating, but what are the chances we get GTA 5 for The Nintendo Switch?

more like -110%. OT: I'm probably in the minority but a dlc focused on watercraft and amphibious vehicles/aircraft dlc would be cool. It could include underwater bases and docks that let us store and customize new and old watercraft, including new civi and military watercraft. The missions they could give us could be like the ones from I/e to unlock trade prices and they could give new freeroam missions like fortified or fully loaded which could earn u from 20-35k. Would be a cool dlc as long as they keep the business aspect away from it like for example: "go fetch this and bring it back to storage".

A custom dinghy with a mounted MG sounds nice

 

Add another jetmax modification a jet boat complete with the homing missiles crystal clear out will be finished in just 5 minutes

@Commander S, I agree with everything a few posts back. We will probably get all that as it has all been requested frequently. I just remember that biker petition being recieved a bit negatively on these forums and dismissed as a niche fanbase when the fact is the GTA biker crowd (with the exception of GTA-Biker) is just severely under represented on this site. They had been thriving off-site in their own community. I dont mind crate work, its just new missions in my book. These businesses being dismissed as "reskins", imo, is like dismissing Vice City as a reskin of GTA 3. The same could probably be said about any race dlc, its just reskinned stunting, impromptu, special vehicle, transform, GTA, water races. I think we'll get Tuners, but I dont think it will be like Tuners and Outlaws. People are pretty close to suicide bombing R* over the batmobile, last thing they need is Batman's REC launcher

GTA Forums is still the best place to come and see player's feedback and requests, most of the player base don't even know the Rockstar email address.

 

Like already mentioned Bikers was highly requested and it got even more attention because of Twitter, YouTube and Facebook.

Just a heads up: Swift Deluxe was from Part 1, not Part 2, and Miljet was from Flight School, not Finance and Felony.

 

I will update and fix the couple mistakes that were found. Also I created this chart and the spreadsheet with the time spent loading in cloud simulator and waiting for races to fill up with players. I have like 4,400 hours of playtime and at least 1,500 hours of that is cloud simulator alone.

 

Hopefully they release the Bombushka tomorrow and start giving out the dripfeed airplanes for the airplane update.

and you have to free your minds from the thought to own everything.

 

GTAO has become RPG like, (which is great IMO) and you simply just can`t own every weapon and every magic spell in an RPG.

choose your equipment and then buy it. if you want more or even everything, than you have to work like a horse.

GTA is an open world sandbox not a RPG or MMO. The spirit of gta is owning every single thing in game because you want to and its a video game. If I want to own everything let me. Free your mind from the illusion of game companies being your friend. Just wait until your favorite game gets ruined by greedy developers. I own things in video games that I can't or never can own in real life. No one will ever tell me I can't own own virtual things in a virtual game that I paid real money for. The you don't have to own it b*llsh*t needs to f*ck off and go away. I paid money for a game I better get the game I paid for. If a game company pushes microtrasactions, and waters down the game experience I paid for, I don't buy there games anymore. People not making a big deal about microtransactions in the beginning lead to them getting so out of control now.

the last nba game i got was the 2k16 and it had VC points too so, is nothing new.

Huh. Last basketball game I bought was NBA Showtime for the Dreamcast. Only remember fun times with that game, and not one dollar from my teenage pockets being spent after the initial purchase.
