Pray it's not the "Return of ACTUAL Beater Cars" DLC in which we have the real fun beater cars from GTA IV that had the fun puffs of smoke that came outta the exhaust sometimes when you shifted gears.

And all the cars are +1 million each because reasons.

If they'd ever release the Shyster PMP600 it'd cost at least 725K

I want a armored PMP 600!!!

So many new pages that I can't simply scroll through them all heh.

Ok, so R* constantly asks players for feedback for most wanted content ideas.

What ya'll think is the most asked content at the moment that R* might have been working on? and maybe just in time for christmas?

Tuners has been in discussion for so long and even that petition went off charts, is there something else I have missed while I've dreamed of map expansions? lol

ps. needs a poll again!

We REALLY need something to change up the general direction of Online, similar to Heists and Executives/FAFF. These were huge game changing updates.

We need to move on from this freeroam business work model tbh. There's so many other things Rockstar could do. At this point in the game's life cycle though, I'm not sure if they'd be willing to do it. This game has too much untapped potential for it to be treated as just a monotonous grind lately.

At the very least, do something new with the Freemode business angle - instead of thinking 'how can we re-skin it to fit whatever the theme of the update is?', R* really needs to start thinking 'how can we use Freemode work to flesh out the game world?'

People originally liked the CEO stuff not simply because it was a way to earn big money, but because it finally gave players the chance to be something more like a criminal kingpin (if you're into that side of things, obviously!), not just a hired gun for characters like Martin and Lester. If anything, things like Gunrunning and Smuggler's Run are a backwards step, since you're kinda doing things at the behest of folks like Ron.

I keep coming back to the idea of adapting the nightclub activities from TBoGT into GTAO Freemode - as well as the dancing minigames, imagine doing all the little things like helping pick up guests/deliveries, sneaking someone in/out without attracting attention from the paparazzi/cops, etc. Or something as simple as a new HQ, where all the jobs are an update of things like distract cops/smuggler planes/armoured trucks/etc.

Basically, it doesn't take much to get creative, and find something to do that's not just more 'buy an expensive property, source stuff, deliver stuff - lather, rinse, repeat', or context-free mini-game stuff like Freemode Events.

Freemode race events midnight club style, race to the paleto cove or somewhere rewards 30k

7 hours scripting + 4 hours testing + 3 hours retesting + 2 hours bug fixing + 4 hours testing is what it would take to get the yachts moving.

Seriously easy to do.

It's not that simple.

What about when you want to start Piracy Prevention? What happens to the helicopters which spawn at the shore? You can just sail far far away, making it unfair for the intruders.

The spawning when you exit your yacht interior? Will you spawn on the yacht, in the water or the nearest shore when the Yacht it moving?

What about walking around in the interior? If you walk around inside the interior of the Cargo Plane, you can bug yourself out of the bay, because the plane is moving/flying. Same counts for the moving train, even though it's technically a moving prop.

In my opinion, it would require skill, hard work and a lot of time to make this work with the smallest of bugs.

And plus, the yachts actually lacks a motor and a propeller, so errrm

You don't have to a propeller to move. All we're doing is writing down physics. We want the object to move when called upon by a script. This is exactly what the vehicles do in this game. I didn't factor in the time it would take for the stuff you mentioned because it was not relevant to the main point:

Movable Yachts are possible. Rockstar hasn't done it because they don't want to, not that it isn't possible.

R* will work on some new contents but not the old yachts, for example naval MOC/ more luxury and military boats. Edited by White ranger

I think rockstar will continue to update gta online until RDR2 come out. They will release the last thing for gta 5 or online after RDR2 (3 speculations) :

- Release the single player dlc (the rumors says rockstar brought this dlc back last summer)

- Release a map expansion of liberty city exclusively for online to celebrate the 10 years of GTA IV

- Open the casino

I made a bar graph showing the vehicles combined over $1,000,000 per update.

Next update +100 mil $, Thx R* :(

I don't believe it will be that high. Sure, they now found out how much of a cash cow the Online is, but they'll probably offer something with a lower overall cost first, then hike it up with a $100m update.

two pair of shoes.

sure your text is right, its part of economy, but the following sentence is just wrong:

"No one will ever tell me I can't own own virtual things in a virtual game that I paid real money for"

you paid 60 bucks for a 2013 version. this is what you paid and what you got. now you want to dictate the developer your rules. OF COURSE THEY CAN TELL YOU, because THEY make the rules ;)

I do not see anything wrong with that sentence, even more when we are talking about a gta game.

I personally paid 60 bucks for the 2015 version, this includes singleplayer and online. And no not Rockstar dictates the rules, the customer does. The customer who paid these 60 bucks and in some cases pays more via sharkcards. We dictate what they do because we controll the moneyflow.

i think the biggest thing is the Singleplayer DLC, for GTA Online i think it's the Casino, Map expansion" 's " and Tuners, and maybe Heists, and all of them would fit for Christmas, cause it would a surprise if it's any of them.

I made a line graph showing the vehicles combined over $1,000,000 per update. My spreadsheet does not contain any discounts do to Import/export, gunrunning, and smuggler's run being the only updates to have discounts for vehicles. It also does not include ANY UPGRADES for the vehicles listed.

Great work!

Just a heads up: Swift Deluxe was from Part 1, not Part 2, and Miljet was from Flight School, not Finance and Felony.

not quite. they costomer influences the creating of the game, same with the rules.

if the customer would make the rules, the game would be for free and every ingame item would be much easier to get.

the customer creates the circumstances, which leads to the rules created by the developer.

believe it or not, its their property! even if you paid money to play it, you own NOTHING inside gta. live with it

Let's take a step down off that high horse Marston. Customer feedback is what makes good products, great.

Get back on topic people. Speculate about things.

I would like to see new missions in the next DLC, same format as the ones we had with special vehicle work & the MOC... Smugglers didn't have them just supply runs & sale runs... they're not really missions in the truer sense.. more like freemode objectives..

Or maybe new heists ;)

Personally, I don't care about the price at all. I just need really good and quality content. I even ready to pay for some DLCs with new maps for 20$. C'mon, R*... milk me :r*:

If you don't have enough time to play - buy SharkCards, if you have enough time - please earn (grind) the money for free, R* give us lots of opportunities to do so. Who said you should buy all what R* did? Just buy what you really need/want.

0% more like -110%. OT: I'm probably in the minority but a dlc focused on watercraft and amphibious vehicles/aircraft dlc would be cool. It could include underwater bases and docks that let us store and customize new and old watercraft, including new civi and military watercraft. The missions they could give us could be like the ones from I/e to unlock trade prices and they could give new freeroam missions like fortified or fully loaded which could earn u from 20-35k. Would be a cool dlc as long as they keep the business aspect away from it like for example: "go fetch this and bring it back to storage". Edited by Duckdude001

I know im a looney for thinking this but I can't wait for the Lazer to release in November because I know at the end is the mystery DLC which is supposed to be a "huge" update. I hope it's something worthy like Mansions or a Vinewood/ Vespucci Beach Property Expansion.

The customer is _always_ right the company never is. Rule number one Rockstar :), it'll catch you out sooner or later.

thats a fallacy people have been lead to believe, but anyone that have deal with customers knows it not the case, the customer is not always right!

People, this is me speculating, but what are the chances we get GTA 5 for The Nintendo Switch?

-O.00%

i know the switch is getting skyrim and doom but overall that still a kids/family oriented console.

I hope we never get another new free roam business in the style of all the others again. It's played out. Do something new.

i think it would all depend on the numbers pulled by smuggle run, if is another success, i think we can expect another business.

while im tired of the current business model, i'd be ok with a new business IF it incluides some sort of minigames or something, anything but the same ol fetch and sell model used in the last 5 businesses.

I swear

I am going to go on a griefing rampage tomorrow(After starting Hostile Takeover) if they don't release one of the damn aircraft. Start the dripfeed for the aircraft! I want my Seabreeze!

I agree....

But if we got something like I/E again, I wouldn't mind. I just love the quick profits. I'm tired of this fill up hangar/warehouse for the most value, and the fill up supply bar to make product like businesses.

So many in-game re-spawned lives lost! The digital blood is on rockstar's hands! THE BLOOD IS ON THEIR HANDS!!!! >: (

Nah, but I stopped caring about what gets released and when. I agree with the no more businesses idea. For frak sakes we are criminal masterminds that shouldn't have to be the ones to do all the dirty work to get paid. We are at the point of being able to hire low level two-bit criminals to do all the heavy lifting for us.
