Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 4)

It'd be nice if there was an update without the whole 'business' aspect at this point. We've got crates, bikers, import export, bunkers, hangars.

 

Either something like Cunning Stunts or maybe one of the pre-crate business updates :|

Those selling missions with it killed any vague interest I might've had with the Mogul.

 

So slow, you can't really get away from those stupid cop helicopters and they always kill its engines. I only completed that sale once, and that was because I got lucky and one of them crashed.

I don't want "new" things to do. As if anything is really "new".

 

I just want good vehicles, clothes, weapons, etc without a mandatory business reskin ownership to even access the new vehicles.

 

The supply run/sale is getting old and stale, thats ok though, I am feeling the wind shift the sails.

That icon is probably just an adversary mode... An actual ship battles would be too hard to implement.

Don't think that this "personal item" get's used for a Adversary mode, but i don't think it's in for a boat DLC, just random, it just was interesting, but i think they could use/use Devin for a DLC, which could be a Boat DLC(where the useless yard get's a use?) or maybe a Casino DLC, that's what i think would fit for Devin..or a DLC which nobody* expect....but wondering what's in that "new" Bunker? Cutscene, maybe then we know more

I got more enjoyment from those packs than all the businesses combined. They at least had variety.My point was more that if those packs had businesses, you would have still got those clothes and vehicles as well. Unless they were behind a paywall, which again I get that part. Bikers for example, the only reason you had to buy a business was to get the "MC options" but the clubhouses were cheap. I'd be fine with a new spin on Freemode work that does at least one, if not both of the following:

 

- is based around a new organisation (not just friggin' VIP/CEO or MC yet again...), and a theme that's more to my tastes (so not high-end business, not bikers, not pseudo-military, etc.)

 

- has at least some PvE elements that can be enjoyed solo or with friends, not automatically against randos in public sessions

 

 

Something that ticks those boxes? Yeah, I'd be on board with that, at least - if nothing else, it'd be more of a shake-up to the formula than the likes of Gunrunning and Smuggler's Run...

 

 

But frankly, if all these Freemode business things mean that all the meaningful content gets locked behind some new permanently-owned gimmick HQ, then by all means, bring on another I'm Not a Hipster or Beach Bum update! At least with those, I didn't need to spend a couple of million buying the LifeInvader offices just to own something like the Panto...

Escort Service could come. There were always some businesses and missions related to professional service. Buy a nightclub, do a Maria like hooker rescue mission like the Martin Madrazo one...

 

My bet: all 'big' updates will always be business paywall related. The filler ones maybe not (for now). So I can see Nightclubs/Escort, Tuners, Piracy (modern) and more... atleast until the release of GTA VI; whenever that will be.

I think that a bikers 2 update would be fantastic. More customization for clubhouses. Bennys customizable choppers or street bagger customs, and all around more biker savy content. Below is a video describing what the community has asked for along with a petition for those of you interested in seeing this happen!

 

As a someone who was pushing for a biker update from before that original petition, I was really happy with what we got, but also slightly letdown. Most of my gripes are the same as in this video, with the biker cutts lack of compatibility and such. That being said, none of this really justifies a whole new update. I do hope they sprinkle in some new bikes and clothes in the future, but I feel like most of this could be added with any update, like a street racing DLC or something. I actually like the idea of doing a tuner update with a clubhouse-style property, but instead of a business side to it, just have ...a bunch of new contact missions with proper cutscenes (not just phone dialogue), same as with the original Lowriders update.

 

All R* needs to do is make the missions a bit more interesting, like the better Mobile Operations/special vehicle missions - most of those were pretty good (if not great on the payout front...), so it'd just be a case of marrying the presentation and production values of the Lamar missions with the set-pieces and structure of the Gunrunning/IE missions.

Don't count on it bro. Like Rockstar F*ggot said, they don't like messing with old code. Unless they add in a Titan reskin like they did with the Daemon motorcycle. Which, if they can charge out the ass for, they more than likely would do.

they fixed a issue about Props not appearing in the cutscene, and these cutscene files got updated to fix it

Someone needs to start a fresh topic called "Midnight Club:Los Santos" or similar where we can brainstorm ideas before making a video. Iron out the details, make a video/petition. Kinda like the helisexual thread for cars. I would do it but i'm on a console and its pretty limited.
