Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 4)

I'd take boats over more bikes any day. The only thing that could interest me in another bikers update is the Lost Slamvan, and I doubt they'd add it anyway.

But you know they're going to keep adding updates with missions for the new money sink that have the Lost MC using Lost Slamvans as enemy vehicles just to piss you off more.

I just wish it is. I'd rather have GTA 6 with a map of decent size thinking of planes than more overpriced slow planes for GTA 5 online.

 

Just for a second imagine flying at mach 1.1. That is never going to be possible on the map we have in GTA5. I doubt it will be in GTA6 either, but one can hope, right?

 

I'm sad how R* is milking players with their insane prices -- They are not stupid when they offer, they are who accept the offer, I guess. The thing is I now have much less time to play than before and I'd rather get to do the fun stuff instead the grind on my limited time.

 

So two conclusions:

 

1. I sadly have to drop the game for its grindiness. Unless the next update is based solely on the fun factor

2. The map isn't very good for planes. For helicopters, sure.

 

For next DLC I wish less grind, more story and more no-buy-in fundom. Maybe some real heists finally?

I forsee them mostly doing little add ons like they did with the Vigilante. Additions to Gunrunning and Smugglers Run seem inevitable.

Please, no water DLC. Just make a decent Tuners update that has the cars most asked for, as well as street racing/pinks, and car meet with group passive or something like that. That way ricer fans can stop whining and I wont have to sit through a painful couple of months of delivering some under valued crap out at sea for a pittance.

For the racer meet with passive. What if there were a few special garages you could own and you could invite friends and their (current) car would appear in the garage. Sorta like how friends/mc members can temporarily store their bike in the MC clubhouse.

 

You'd be indoors but you would be in a safe controlled area with the people in the car meet.

@Pocket Fox: The Maze Bank Arena would be a Perfect location to have Indoor Car Shows. Maybe even Monster Truck Rallys, or Bring Back the Hot Ring Races from GTA SA.

Simplest thing would be a new garage/hangout property that functions basically like a biker clubhouse, but for cars (i.e., a safehouse/garage combo, with on-site mod shop, parking space for friends, etc.). Give 'em two interior flavours (one more import-y, the other more muscle-tastic), just like the two overarching styles for the clubhouses, and that'd be perfect, IMO.

That's actually a really cool idea. They would probably charge the crew or group money to rent the stadium or entrance fees though lol. Yeah, I really hope Tuners are next even if it's not high on my own DLC wishlist. They've been waiting since the Sultan/Banshee surprise, and I know there would be at least a handful of cars that would interest me.

If Pirates dlc will rly be a thing we can expect:

 

 

- Faster boats with armor, turrets and rocket launchers (The Thunder hopefully)

- Some classics from Vice City

- Something silly and unrealistic. Probably a small boat/jetsky with wings and a jet engine

- Stealing cargo from yachts and cargoboats

-Deliveries in Tug boats...

... and docks

I don't wanna have a tuners dlc. R* sure would f**k this up. Street races would be cool but just start a race with traffic on in the nighttime and you will get some weird messages before the rage quitting explodes.

 

But make it like the Lamar missions (with gone in 60 seconds touch and for 2p) and I'm in.

 

Ocean dlc would be great though (if the seacraft is just as good as the aircraft).

There's a Boat Shop in Grapeseed, called Miller's or Millar's? that could make for a nice boat customization shop/storage. If it was Purchasable I would definently buy just for the Location alone. It's right on the Alamo sea.

 

Also wish R* would do something with that "You Tool" Store...

Guys stop talking about a Boat Themed Business Update before they actually do that. Because the last thing we need is new Boats on a map where there's hardly any water (excluding the ocean) and YET ANOTHER Business Related Update, as if we don't have enough of those already...

The wouldnt give us the Lost Slamvan with Bikers 2. They would wait for a completely irrelevent update to add that.

 

Probably a Pets DLC. Yeah, that makes as little sense as possible. Add the Lost Slamvan with that.

I could see this working nicely. Then you can bring it to Benny's for the $1million conversion into the Mutt Cutts van from Dumb and Dumber.

Gunrunning pt2 perhaps? I mean I/E was more of an addon to F&F and I can see em expand that bunker with more research.

No I mean it like it's not too far fetched to ask/want/expect vehicles like these two (that would add a couple of good elements, gameplay wise, to the racing aspect of the game and the racing communities - and just fun, too) ^^
Plus the go kart was already in San Andreas. And we got crazy supers (cars) already.. so a F1 would be fine imo.

But more of the same cargo deliveries with boats I guess ? lol

it'd also probably require some sort of ranking based on car performance as alot of people would be losing on unfairly matched races but it's nice to imagine alot of car meets tend to end up in airstrip races and it'd be nice to have some sort of way to host those without an awkward countdown/flare gun start, people crashing on the way back up, messy organization etc; a nice way to prove you're faster but also put something on the line.
