If I have to wait until Christmas for the Rapid GT Classic I will lose my f*cking mind.

Someone needs to find some glitch to get the dripfed stuff early. I get my Hunter (before October or November or whenever they're going to unlock it), people get the rest - all good.

 

The dripfeed seems pointless now. It's not like this stuff is particularly hidden or will surprise anyone, even people who don't visit here.

well ive seen my friend do the hunter source mission and when he completed it he got to keep the hunter all though not permanently.

it seems you need someone to stay by the hunter while you do the mission and it should stay and be unlocked for anyone's use.

 

Hmm, maybe this could be the first step of a glitch to store it.

 

I wouldn't want to glitch its performance or anything; just, you know, not wait 2 months for it.

 

one thing ive noticed is it sometimes catches fire and either explodes or vanishes.

i know my friend left the hunter there without entering it at all and it seemed to disappear after completing the mission.

I mean, it certainly feels like they're trying to do their best to get me to stop playing...

Considering we've had Bikers (which drew heavily upon The Lost and Damned), and Smuggler's Run (albeit in name only), what are the odds we get an update inspired by one of these any time soon?

 

 

 

 

 

 

Too much to hope that the end-of-year update ticks either of those boxes? It'd make a change from Gunrunning/Smuggler's Run, at the very least - and for me, personally, it'd be something to get genuinely hyped about for a change (instead of maybe finding one half-decent drip-feed car, tops...).

It started with Gunrunning and it got worse by Smugglers Run. Won't be long till we get trailers and by the time they're supposed to be release the whole DLC is drip fed and the only thing we actually get is 50% on megalodon shark cards

The Dripfeed is just there to make the DLC "last longer", not really about shark cards. However you always get those type of players that buy every vehicle as soon as the DLC drops and then when new ones come out they need money. This is where the Shark cards come in.

Most of us are waiting for an ocean theme update, and I hope it is a military/ pirate DLC, bring us weaponise boats, a submarine MOC, I agree the ocean of LS is empty and boring, but we can make it busy.

This update really sucks ass to a certain extent. Love the smugglers business as its way better than ceo crates but thee missions are already repetitive and boring. None of the new planes or chopper are useful imo. Was excited for the Hunter but unfortunately and not surprisingly it requires 2 players to fully function which is beyond asinine. You cant even customize your current aircraft like the Buzzard, Savage and Hydra beyond painting them. Don't even get me started on the damn dripfeed. The only thing I enjoyed from this update would be the Escort and thermal helmets.

I mean, I sent them a full 'Import Tuners Update' pitch, along the lines of the original Lowriders, a couple of dozen times - and the only thing that might have come of that effort was the Elegy Retro. I listed a bunch of ways to update the San Andreas Jester, ZR-350, etc., and for the original Elegy, I suggested maybe slap the front of the R33 on it, since the Stratum uses the R32 hood/lights. December rolls around, and ...huh - pretty much as I described.

 

Shame about the glaring lack of all the other things, though.

 

 

I dunno - maybe a concerted effort from a lot of people would get it done. I'm thinking of getting back into the 'sending nagging emails on a regular basis' game - it'd just be nice to know if they actually take any of that feedback into account, because I'm not a huge fan of putting a lot of time and effort into something, only for it to have been a complete and utter waste of time...

 

 

...just not 'Tuners & Outlaws', though. There's just too much stuff missing from that trailer to make for a satisfactory update (specifically, the kinds of cars R* should include), while at the same time, there's also too much implausible stuff that makes the whole thing easier for R* to dismiss (manual transmission, extra modifications for existing car models, etc.).
