I'm thinking the Lazer might be getting countermeasures. This NPC flown Lazer was landing at Zancudo last night and caught me by surprise. Pretty weird bug if the countermeasures aren't a part of the aircraft now since the smoke never turned off even after the pilot ran away scared.

It really doesn't, it looks like and 80s A.M.

I was mocking Mach because he said a P-51 and Spitfire look pretty close to each other.

 

But I can understand where he is coming from, hence why I made that Mustang joke since so many people seem to confuse that as well.

I'm thinking the Lazer might be getting countermeasures. This NPC flown Lazer was landing at Zancudo last night and caught me by surprise. Pretty weird bug if the countermeasures aren't a part of the aircraft now since the smoke never turned off even after the pilot ran away scared.

That would be good news, it may almost justify the crazy price tag. Is it possible to find anything about it in the game files or we'll have to wait 3 months to find out?

Yea, just like the new Rapid GT classic looks like a Mustang.

 

 

Edit: Also, I don't want to confirm this 100%, but I am sure the Lazer will just get a repaint option. Maybe engine and armor, but apart from that... ney. Flares or bombs would need an alteration of the model file and neither the smuggler, nor the latest Patchday archive has the Lazer files in it. (The Dodo however is in the latest Patchday... Can't find anything new on that though)

 

The Cuban 800 that you get for free upon purchase of a Hanger has drop bombs, did they change the model on the Cuban 800 for that? If not then there's a chance, I haven't seen anyone comment on the Cuban getting a model change.

 

Seriously going back and not giving the older air vehicles at the very least FLARES is a huge disappointment. Savage buff is good, but the Valkyrie needed a buff as well. Either way, perhaps the Lazer will have something?

Hey guys, a bit off topic but I wwanna know. I bought the ultalight and that thing hauls some serious ass.

I dunno if this is intended, but when flying at low altitudes with this thing (less than 1500 feet) the max speed is around 60. But if you get some altitude, more than 2000 feet and hold the throttle this thing goes supersonic. Try it if you dont believe me, go in first person view, get some high altitud and watch the speedo. It is INSANE, like faster than a Hydra. Mines got all the upgrades, and the silent blades. Please someone try it so I know im not going crazy

the cuban 800 had the ability to drop bombs since day 1, because in SP is a smuggling Mission and you need to destroy the lost on the Sandy shores Airport with carpet bombing

The gas bombs seem to be the least effective as far as damage dealt is concerned (maybe they're stronger than the cheapest standard bombs), but boy do i love to slow down as much as possible and watch the green cloud of poison spread out on the ground below 😈

yeah .. that was in SP ... now in GTAO we can upgrade our Cuban with dropping bombs , plus , like the Savage, its armor got buffed :) it now can survive 1 RPG hit ;)

I doubt that. Think about it for a second. The Hydra is half the price and you can steal a normal Lazer for free. Why would they do that unless there was a justified reason.

 

The amount of pirate themed tattoos (and some jolly roger themed clothes) does lead me to believe some type of water based update may be next, or after all the Halloween/Christmas stuff anyway. I've said before and I'll say it again I need me a PT boat.

I completely agree. It makes no sense at all. There is no way I'm going to pay 6.5m plus a respray for something that I can walk out of my hangar and climb straight in for free, only paying Lester a few hundred bucks if I want to get rid of the wanted level.

 

But R* logic.

 

If the Lazer has access to all the new kit I will 100% get one, it will be a true top of the food chain item.

At the top of the hangar on the walkways, go to the one above the main door and you'll find a homing launcher :)

Everything is shaping up to be pretty decent in my opinion. The next day with updates is always a time for reflection.

 

*Hangars in Fort Zancudo for low level clearance and a Military rollplay. You can see the military NPCs driving, flying and patrolling. You can hear the intercom with music sometimes which really brings the atmosphere to life.

The gunrunning bunker near Fort Zancudo looks more appealing now because of the hangars.

 

*Thermal and nightvision helmets that can be flipped up and down by holding right on the D-pad for quick and dynamic gameplay transitions. You can fly with thermal vision by selecting the outfit with it and getting in to the vehicle, (the same trick to wear a hat inside a hardtop vehicle)

 

*You can organize you hangars floor of aircraft with all your favorite flying machines.

 

*All types of Pegasus vehicles spawn like feet from you in Fort Zancudo

 

*Great clothing and all new flight suites

 

*You can request personal aircraft from the interaction menu and set the countermeasures to Pilot or Co-Pilot

 

Content from Gunrunning and Smugglers Run create a very nice Military Update all together.

All we need now is the one and only Aircraft Carrier permanently in freemode (maybe it could be stationed near fort zancudo but far out in the Ocean) It would be epic to be able to buy a low level clearance for the AC. A NAVAL update would be great for a last military update IMO and then I'm all for Tuners to switch it up.

I know right, people can't even defend drip-feed content by saying that "the majority of the people don't know about it" anymore now that most of the vehicles can be used and even get discounted before it drops.

That's how I felt all day yesterday! Having a discount for content that's not available is like having ammo for a gun you don't have. I don't fell like i'm ahead of the pack for having a discount i can't use lol Right now we're in the same boat as someone who has not bought a hangar lol this makes no sense, we should have the content unlocked to buy for all the grinding. I've never suffered more for dripfeed content than right now.

I hate the way rockstar manipulates us into playing the game for longer than we are genuinely interested. If they do this bullsh*t with RDR2 i'm not playing along, or at all. I'll play when all the content is there or i'm not playing at all :)
