Which missions do you do for hunter to spawn?

I got it to spawn with the counterfeit goods a few times (solo), I don't think its specific to one type of cargo though. The first 20 supply runs i did ( 2-3 of each type of cargo) i didn't get the Hunter. Then I started to get it more often. I want to buy that helicopter so bad. I have a feeling that when its armor is upgraded it will survive a RPG round to the face, we'll have to wait and see. I got it on the signal jammer resupply mission.

Of course bout three quarters through I get a couple d-bags in hydras on me.

That bad boy took 4 rockets and a small side of cannons and didn't go down.

I bailed though to grab MK2 boom boom.

Did anyone see Fun's tweet about the icons for the Transform races? Apparently we will be able to race trucks soon.

Yeah, remember that vehicle armour in supply missions/ sales and freeroam are generally two different things altogether.

Biker resupply vehicles take an awful lot to destroy, but it's no reflection on the vehicle itself and how it would normally be in FR.

I thought this too, man.

I got really excited when I attacked a Hunter today and it took 5 or 6 missiles and didn't even come down. Then I remembered, it's a mission vehicle.

My bad, it was FoxySnaps who posted it, but yeah.

Edit: I don't know how to post pictures from Twitter, but one of the icons is a semi truck.

When you upgrade the armour on one of the new planes, how well do they cope against explosive snipers, etc.?

The only one I really test against homing missiles with that was the Little Willie - which isn't really representative of the Hunter for obvious reasons lol. That seemed to just take one missile.

We might be able to get an idea of how tough the Hunter will be from that.

Damn that is a shame. Thanks for the fast response and citing a source as well I appreciate that.

Guess the Rogue is all I need. Unless of course the Nokota has some awesome liveries to bring me back in.

Well I was scratching my head looking at things thinking "this isn't right" so went back to do a bit more looking... update\x64\dlcpacks\mpsmuggler\dlc.rpf\common\data\carcols.dat:

Nokota will have:

Engine, Armour and Brakes upgrades(? - not sure about that one, but the upgrade is listed as "VMT_BRAKES" - maybe this is something else the "Handling" performance upgrade is doing, or maybe it only increases braking performance, I don't know - from now on I'll just refer to it as the Handling upgrade)

Rockets and missile upgrades (probably one is homing and the other isn't)

Drop tanks

10 liveries

Countermeasures

Hunter will have:

Cannon upgrade (turns it into an explosive cannon)

8 liveries

Countermeasures

Bombs

Engine, Armour and Handling upgrades

Seabreeze will have:

Machinegun upgrade (looks like it just adds an extra gun?)

8 liveries

Bombs

Countermeasures

Engine, Armour and Handling upgrades

Bombushka will have:

10 liveries

Bombs

Countermeasures

JATO thrust upgrade

Cannon upgrades (turns them into explosive cannons)

Engine, Armour and Handling upgrades

Vigilante seems to have missile upgrades available as well as all the usual trimmings. This must be coming for Halloween too, seeing as the Halloween horns are bundled in here in the modkit.

Mogul will have:

8 liveries

Nose and Turret gun upgrades

JATO thrust upgrade

Bombs

Countermeasures

Engine, Armour and Handling upgrades

Pyro will have:

10 liveries

Missile upgrade

Countermeasures

Engine, Armour and Handling upgrades

Howard will have:

10 liveries

Countermeasures

Engine, Armour and Handling upgrades

Hope that helps.

Wait, so the Lazer really is a 6.5 million paintjob?

Yes I'll need to test that, but I'm assuming the difference between 0% armour and 100% armour is double, or half - however you look at it.

So for example, if at 0% armour the vehicle needed 40 rounds from the Carbine Rifle to set on fire (thus destroy), at 100% armour it would need 80 rounds.

Doesn't exactly equate to some vehicles and weapon systems. For example, I'd be very, VERY surprised if the AA Trailer's 'Dual 20mm Flak' cannon or the Rhino Tank's cannon DIDN'T destroy every aircraft in the game in one shot (as they can destroy many armoured ground vehicles in one or just a few shots).

Not necessarily - it'll probably have upgrades, it's just that because it's a vehicle that was already in the game, the data for that will likely have been added to another file, and I can't find it / any information for the mod kits (upgrades).

I'm going to assume as they're making it for purchase and it will no doubt say "Part of Smuggler's Run" on the Warstock Cache & Carry website, that it can be upgraded, but I've not found anything to confirm that yet.

Jato's are pretty much a 'must have' for the Tula.

Sometimes she can drag her nuggets along the ocean for like a good 8-10 seconds before she gets airborne.

Pop a jato and it's like a jalapeno in the butt, you get movin real fast, real quick.

How do the countermeasures work on the Tula?

You need to switch them to co-pilot in the interaction menu, or switch to him the VOLT capabilities.

Anyone know what the recent 40+ meg update on steam was for just now?

Was to fix some missing texture I heard..

That must be one massive ass texture. Even my ritualistic 1024's are only about a meg.

they forgot some shaders and you needed to download the update.rpf with the added shaders

Does everybody realize the ultralight has actual stealth when you cut the engines? I haven't seen many/anybody talking about this exiting and affordable feature.

I want JATOs on all my planes now .... Hope the Titan doesn't end up like the real one though ;)

Wait, like - off the map kinda stealth?

How fast is it as an aircraft? does it have any kind of boost or engine, or do you just glide off stuff?

The hunter is a f*cking turd, rockstar gave u fan-ladyboys the finger if this weak, slow dull ass crap is what been cried about for years!

Enjoy

I'm sensing some kind of micro-aggression here.

With the stealth propeller upgrade, it goes off radar on idle (?) and gliding.

It has really sh*tty handling though. It can't bank for sh*t and it just refuses to land.

I heard something similar, but you have to have the quiet Fan\Propeller installed ... I can't verify that though.

Yup, works like that.

it actually flies on its on pretty fast.. left my controller on the table for few min and came back to see the ultralight had climbed the skylimit lol.

You can tell it goes off radar when your player marker on the minimap starts flashing.

I'm amazed! I did NOT EXPECT this much! I guess these will hold us from crying till Christmas. I just can't believe they released a f*cking batmobile. That aside they released RIMAC CONCEPT ONE? OMG! For those who doesn't know. Rimac makes the battery system, software and more for Koenigsegg. They recently launched their own cars which beat Porshce 918, Ferrari LaFerrari in drag racing. Did i even mention that it's FULLY ELECTRONIC car? Thank you Rockstar for these amazing dlc vehicles! f*ck YOU ROCKSTAR FOR DRIPFEEDING HUNTER YOU f*ckING f*ckS... Good night forumers :)

well here you have it ... it´s electric so the full torque is at your disposal even when you´re not moving ( while you have to reach a certain engine speed with a "normal" combustion engine to reach full torque) , so it´s not that surprising that it beats them in a drag race ( yeah i know that the 918 & LaFerrari are hybrids) ,you need to take them all to the race track ;) I´m thinking Nürburgring ;)

Drag racing is pretty much not that relevant if you want to rate the overall performance of a given super ( well maybe in the US ) , the real performance test is on the race track ;) IMO at least .

*sorry for beeing off topic , i m not trying to kill your vibe , just sayin´ :)

now on Topic : so if these transform races are included in this DLC , does that mean that we won´t see any new cars utill 2018 ? ( apart from the 3 hidden ones )

well that s sad :( I was thinking that it will be a small new update , with some new cars ...

I'm loving any EV's that get added to the game, the more the merrier!

If you can only accept the performance of cars on the track check out what the NIO EP9 did at the Green Hell, or look at a Tesla against an M3 or you know the whole Formula-E series.

I find it quaint that every time time you see EV's with good stats people come out of the woodwork with the whole 'but it's a straight line' thing.. I imagine people sitting at bars at the turn of the 20th century arguing that a horse goes around a corner better than a horseless carriage so it's ultimately superior. lol

It's early days for EV but they will replace petrol cars as surely as petrol cars replaced horses.... though the Amish have clung to their horses so I guess there will always be fanboys of antiquated technology.
