Anyone else get the feeling that the dev team just designs update content without any regard to cutting it up and locking it for drip-feeding? Feels like the folks doing the actual hands-on work aren't responsible for that, and someone else comes along after the fact to handle marketing/distribution from a purely business standpoint. Hence why the unlock notifications happen as if the entire update was in the game on Day One, but the content that gets unlocked has been carved off afterwards.

TakeTwo probably have a corporate stooge permanently in the Rockstar office for this very reason.

 

More just various departments at R* operating independently - which isn't rare in triple-A games studios at all. So many times you get things like scripts needing last-minute rewrites, because the dev team weren't given full script/plot details.

 

Same with marketing/PR - according to Broughy, when he met up with R*'s UK publicity team in London, they admitted that they're kept largely in the dark as to what the actual dev teams are doing, and only know what they're given. It's like a production line - and every step of the way, when someone signs off on something, it's out of their hands as to what the next person will end up doing with it (which probably also explains things like dubious vehicle class allocations...).

No, it's only the Cargo Type Bonus.

Still don't know how it works but the more you get of the same cargo type the better Bonus you have.

Each crate is worth $10,000 but we still won't know what the bonus would be for 50/50 of one type of cargo. I think it would be more than $500,000 based on what Ron said about the cargo.

When I got into my Buzzard, that particular helmet automatically unequipped. Either it doesn't work or I had Show Aircraft Helmet off, which shouldn't have affected it.

this game is like f*cking dubai, you go to freeroam and all you see is supers driving around, so a cops dlc with super cars with cop lights and sh*t wont be out of place.

 

More supercars is the last thing this game needs. R* continue to release supercars in EVERY update. im just saying that they could release a cops dlc and i used dubai as a example of something they could add to attract the cashcard sales.

Maybe it´s affected by the fact that i stole some crates from other players. I didn´t really paid attention what i stole from them but maybe i stole those jewelry from them. Could be a possibilty.

Nope - Hunter's the second-to-last Warstock vehicle, seven out of eight total. If R* starts the drip-feed straight away next week*, and releases one vehicle a week, every Tuesday, the earliest the Hunter's coming is October 17th (assuming they put out ALL the Warstock/Elitas vehicles first, and don't mix things up with the two Legendary Motorsports cars).

 

*I reckon they probably will put out something next week, but I don't think the Warstock stuff is coming out all in one go. If R* wants to get the Vigilante out before the Halloween weekend, it'll need to come out as the eighth drip-fed vehicle, on October 24th. That'd require both of the Legendary Motorsports cars to come out between now and Oct 17th:

 

 

Aircraft, in order: RM-10 Bombushka, Howard NX-25, Mogul, Pyro, Seabreeze

 

Cars: Rapid GT Classic, Cyclone (mixed in with the above at some point)

 

 

After that, the Vigilante, P-45 Nokota, FH-1 Hunter, and finally the P-996 Lazer. That'd put the back end of the drip-feed on this kind of schedule (assuming R* doesn't either take a week off releasing things, or does more than one a week):

 

 

October 24th: Vigilante

 

October 31st: Nokota

 

October 7th: Hunter

 

October 14th: Lazer

I finally managed to get the Hunter to spawn while teamed up with 2 of my friends. The cannon is a bit of a letdown but then again I guess it was done so it wouldn't abuse ground targets. It does not have explosive rounds and is about as powerful as the technical heavy cannon fire. Dropping the bombs is fun but I dunno where this could come in handy. I think I'll just wait until the Lazer and Vigilante are buyable.
