Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 4)

Here is my personal review of drip feed vehicles.

• Bombushka - I give them that, it's really detailed. Serious props for that, but that's all positive things that I can say. It's basically slower version of Titan. It has guns which is nice, but that's about it. 7/10
• Cyclone - as much as I like the looks of it, and it's definitely better looking that Visione, it's just a Voltic. It may be faster than it, but it's still a Voltic under the different shell. The rear is too much like Entity and front is too much like

  Surano. The tuning wise it's ok, pretty decent, although I'd prefer it to have better front bumpers, at least some rear ones and smaller spoiler, since all of them are humongous​. Acceleration is superb but it lacks in every other aspect. Definitely not a class changer. Also it is first Super that has FWD... 8/10

• Howard - It's fast, but that's all I can say positively about it. It twitchy, the model looks like something from 3D era, and it has no weapons stock. Weird choice over other planes and jets that could easily fit into the theme of a DLC. 6.5/10
• Hunter - Let me tell ya, it (was/is) definitely worth a wait! Cluster bombs - beautiful, sound - beautiful, design - boner introducing. In other words, the best vehicle that came out of this DLC. 11/10
• Mogul - It's much smaller than I expected. It's pretty slow. That's all I can say really. 7/10
• Nokota - WHY. IT. ISN'T. THE. RUSTLER???? Other than that, it's a pretty decent plane, although I expected much more out of it. It's pretty sluggish from the start, but it's pretty maneuverable in the air. It would be 10/10, if it was called a Rustler...

• Pyro - my unexpected favorite. I definitely did not expect the T11 Vampire from this update, and I'm quite happy that we got one. It's probably the best handling jet that we got out of this DLC, just because it isn't as twitchy as other planes. 10/10
• Rapid GT Classic - HARD. BONER. This is one of the most beautiful cars that were added in the DLC's. It's definitely a fast one, but I'm not sure if it will be a class changer. The sound engine is definitely reused, but interior isn't. I'm quite happy that R* is stepping up their interior game. And Yeezus Christ, the customization is insane! Definitely a winner of the ground vehicles. 9.5/10
• Sea Breeze - what a strange choice of a plane. It looks ridiculous, but I can assure you that it's​ pretty fun to fly. It can land on the water which is pretty cool. 8/10
• Vigilante -
  But I'd lie if I say that it isn't fun. As much as ridiculous and out of place it is, I'd take this over any flying f*cking bike... Also I'm baffled that they made 90s Batmobile and Tumbler work with each other. 7/10

how long does the "boost" las for on the vigilante?

 

Can the bombushka store anything at the back? is it accessible? I've heard it's like a MOC, you can change your clothes inside? walk around while mid air?

It lasts for about the same time as Rocket Voltic. It recharges quicker (I think, citation needed). Bombushka can store people that's for sure. Idk if it has cargo bay, I didn't really look at it. You definitely won't be able to change the clothes, and the only thing that's comparable to MOC are the computers that steer the guns on the outside... Edited August 29, 2017 by MGgames100

Man do i love the rogue!

 

perfect carpet bombing plane and has (imo) the best weapons. (Bombs,homing and normal missiles and explosive MG) however the explosive MG has a very smal blast radius so you have to be ON POINT unlike the hydra and lazer ( a Nice ballance for such a weapon.

 

if you fully upgrade the engine then it can outrun homing missiles like a hydra. Just be sure to upgrade the handling to either sport or race Since the stock handling is not that good. It's 1 of the cheapest planes in the update yet it is 1 of the best.

DEFINITELY the Ultralight .... well first I have to point that it s the only new aircraft that I got so far , but it´s cheap , light , fun , fairly customizable, unique ..... aaaaaand it goes off radar , enough said

the Rogue is worth it though , at least almost everyone is approving it (probably going to buy it in a minute or 2)...

 

I thought the same about Rogue until I got it. Hydra is 1000 times better, don't waste your money! Explosive MGs on the Rogue are laughable. I won't sell it, just leave it as a prop in Hangar, that I probably won't visit for a long time.

I thought the same about Rogue until I got it. Hydra is 1000 times better, don't waste your money! Explosive MGs on the Rogue are laughable. I won't sell it, just leave it as a prop in Hangar, that I probably won't visit for a long time. they aren't that bad,they just require skill to be used. but i must say that they are best used against other aircraft. Imo.

well here you have it ... it´s electric so the full torque is at your disposal even when you´re not moving ( while you have to reach a certain engine speed with a "normal" combustion engine to reach full torque) , so it´s not that surprising that it beats them in a drag race ( yeah i know that the 918 & LaFerrari are hybrids) ,you need to take them all to the race track I´m thinking Nürburgring

Drag racing is pretty much not that relevant if you want to rate the overall performance of a given super ( well maybe in the US ) , the real performance test is on the race track IMO at least .

now on Topic : so if these transform races are included in this DLC , does that mean that we won´t see any new cars utill 2018 ? ( apart from the 3 hidden ones )

You're right. Ironically, Rogue do handles better than Hydra and there are dogfighting advantages, but this thing is air to air PvP. Explosive MGs are too inaccurate to be used against ground targets. You won't be using anything from this update what is not dripfed in missions or vip jobs, there is no use. I'll try bombing Headhunter targets for lulz later, but that's probably all. So far, the cheapest thing is the best.

you mean the drip feed? there is a discount text that pops up for the drip feed planes aswell when you do the missions but that's a oversight On rockstar's part.

there are no missions like that in this update. all the new aircraft are featured in the suply missions.

Anyone else get the feeling that the dev team just designs update content without any regard to cutting it up and locking it for drip-feeding? Feels like the folks doing the actual hands-on work aren't responsible for that, and someone else comes along after the fact to handle marketing/distribution from a purely business standpoint. Hence why the unlock notifications happen as if the entire update was in the game on Day One, but the content that gets unlocked has been carved off afterwards.

TakeTwo probably have a corporate stooge permanently in the Rockstar office for this very reason.
