It's 100% a 1977 Aston Martin V8 Vantage. Maybe a little Interceptor thrown in, but definitely the Vantage mainly.

 

And as a car nut, it's hurting me how many people are calling it a Mustang

Cabin in the Woods?

Surprisngly close, actually! The house is built over a cabin from the 1800's. The ceiling of the basement, the support for the floor, is made of two hundred year old logs wrapped in newspapers written in french from 1804.

Lake Superior, on the border of Canada. It was built when the French were dominant in the area. It was originally a hunting cabin, convertered and added to over the years. First it was given the "modern home" treatement in the late 1800's, and given a floor, siding, etc. (used to be a dirt floor with logs as a floor, that was pretty fancy in the day, a lot of people still just did the whole dirt only floor thing) Then it got a basement in the early 1900's, then various expansions to the house. The well, is just a point. (basically a pipe with a hole in it) that was installed in the 40's. 40 acres, with the shell of a remaining tiny auxilary cabin near the creek. Basically the skinning/cleaning hut away from the cabin. We actually just got a proper well put in today. Gotta wait a few days before we can use the water, though. They're doing the whole bleach thing to clean out the pipes. Had a huge flood last summer that contaminated the water from the point because it broke the pipe, which filled the water with rust and coliform. Not gonna kill you, but it's no fun drinking rust and getting the cold/skin rashes/possible infections from various biomatter you may consume in your daily shower/drinking water. And yes, the house is probably a huge fire hazard, considering that back in the day newspaper was a go to insulation, haha. The logs are probably closer to petrified wood, though. Wood stove for a century and a half or so drying the logs down there.

 

OT: Yes, that was a lot of text. I wrote that all to pass my time. It's now 3:50am, yes, it was worth it. The update is close, haha.
