The Hunter will have to be assembled via research, it'll cost 5 million even after doing its special mission, and you'll require a gunner to use any of its weapons. C'mon, this is Rockstar we're talking about here. You know it'll be true, hahaha. Only they could mess up the Hunter. Hopefully they'll one day do a "balance" DLC. Where they go back, and fix everything, and make it inline with eachother. They sure love releasing something broken, then just releasing something else on top of it without ever fixing the first thing. We're probably gonna have super OP Hunter, and snowball bait Savage flying around together for similar price ranges... Both gunships of relative class from two countries, but in GTA one will be totally useless...

Wait... you stop, get out, and switch seats? I think you're doing it wrong, I just hold right on the D pad as I'm stopping and it literally only takes seconds to spam an unholy amount of missiles at a group of people. I've probably racked up close to a thousand kills in that thing since gunrunning came out, and only been killed while in it less than a dozen times. It would honestly be an extremely OP nuisance if you could man the gun while driving, cannon or SAM.

 

I hope the drop tanks thing with the aircraft is only cosmetic, or they can be dropped and then shot for some kind of fire bomb effect IDK. Really don't want limited run time and refueling... if I see a little fuel meter pop up on the screen after buying new toys tomorrow morning I'll be disappointed.

Those were a major point of contention on the Birds of Steel forums. That, and the Stuka's automatic dive-pullout system were not included in a otherwise-very-realistic slight/combat sim game.

To be fair, the Half-Track is a pain to be against. With medium armor plating you become bulletproof on the front, while you can still use your own weapons. If that isn't a powerful player machine, I dunno what it is

I'm gonna try not to stay up all night... but that will probably happen anyway.

 

And considering this update is named after a classic mission-based off-road game from R*... I hope to god we get at least one new off-road vehicle. The Escort is not a bad start at all.

Highly doubtful. The good news is that there has been more snow-time each year.

Plus, you can keep your session alive and keep the snow from your point of view (though you will feel the slippy-effects while others in your lobby will not)

See, I want to buy the Molotok, turboprop thing, microcopter, and the Rustler-y thing - but I reckon at best they'll be like the weaponised vehicles (drab flat colour and no upgrades if you don't own the associated property), or worse, like the special vehicles (can't even buy them at all without the new thing).

 

Good grief, R* - I know the Pegasus system has a bunch of drawbacks and limitations, but if ever there was a time vehicles needed to be included as Pegasus ones to begin with... I almost feel I'd get more out of this if it were packaged along the lines of 'San Andreas Flight School 2'.

 

 

As it is? Only 'eh, probably' so far is the new Vapid Escort-y thing - I'l keep my hopes suitably low, and assume that beyond that, all the other cars are going to be boring, and all the clothes will look like arse. Feel free to prove me wrong, though, R*!

Clothes and Ultralight glider, might get Hunter down the line if it is done properly, but knowing R*... they don`t do helicopters properly ever.
