As a plane nerd it pains me to see afterburner style flames and homing missiles on a MiG-17... but at the same time, it's a MiG in GTA so can't complain too much lol

Im thinking they just incorporated the price of the research into the upgrade price per item. Instead of 99000 for a mine dropper, and 225000 on fast track, it'll be 400000 per plane to add bombs. Planes will be reasonably priced, but upgrades will be the money sink this time imo.

I'm basically at:

 

- would buy the microcopter, the Molotok, the Rustler (?) and the trainer, but for the fact that they're probably locked behind the hangar system, so nope.

- quite possibly getting the Escort thing eventually, if it's the only interesting car out of the bunch - it's nice, but it's not my particular niche (very little in GTAO is...).

 

Hopefully there's a few more interesting non-super things coming - I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much, because that way lies disappointment...

Unless theres a new Pfister or Ubermacht that doesn't look like some 13 year old on meth designed it, I no longer gaf about this update and hope it flops...

I really do hope you could choose what to research. Because yes, the liveries are just that, a waste. Of either time, or money. I don't care for the liveries, just let me research the actual upgrades.

Having the upgrades more expensive but not tied to research would be great, since I would not risk wasting hundreds of thousands of dollars in "BOOM BOOM" liveries. Also, this might make the aircrafts themselves less expensive, which is good as may want to keep some of them unarmed (the M134 minigun on the back of the Tula "kinda" breaks the WW2 design.

I'm interested to hear what you think of the Skylift. I would love to own one even more than an Hunter, but unfortunately in the trailer it seems to appear in a mission, and unlike the other aircrafts it lacks any modification. Same goes to the P996.

That would indeed be fantastic. Don't wan't to waste 20.mil on research, for vehicles i never buy/use.

The word "pirate" made me a big brainstorming, we all guess the ocean theme DLC is coming next, but pirate is exactly the rockstar style that all connected with the gun running/ smuggler's run DLCs, tones of armoured boats...battleship moc...!!! Rockstar please take all my money!
