It's been 614 days since we have recieved an actual new Muscle car. The Tampa on Dec. 21 2015. Anything since then has either been variations of existing cars or misclassed Lowriders.

Also, really that car is just returning from GTA IV, if we are talking NEW to GTA American Muscle, you have to reach all the way back to Dec 15, 2014. The Nightshade and Mamba were released.

I guess tuners can wait then. We need some new muscle cars.

The Twitter description for the Tula says it's the ultimate plane for "high volume" smuggling. Perhaps that means that the choice of plane affects how much product can be delivered at a time?

Well that would be interesting. I'd rather just take one massive plane than 3 little ones like the other businesses, would make doing it solo far easier.

Probably the other way around. The game chooses the delivery mission for you, and gives you the most adequate plane for it.

Happy Hunter

Hopefully the Savage too, so it can get in on countermeasures and (just maybe) armour. I'm a Hunter fanboy first and foremost, but Hinds are cool too, and it'd be sad to see it never live up to its Savage name.

Hopefully it all can have something or the other.

I guess tuners can wait then. We need some new muscle cars.

Counterpoint: proper tuners are still outnumbered by muscle cars. And again, depends where you start counting, but a proper slew of import tuners is long overdue - going back to 2014, when R* gave the Jester name to that ugly new NSX thing (and when Zorvaine started the original 'tuner DLC' thread), or to GTA IV in 2008, with a distinct lack of those kinds of cars, or all the way back to 2004, when San Andreas actually had a decent selection, both of full tuners at Wheel Arch Angels, and iconic cars like the RX-7 (ZR-350) and 300ZX (Euros) in non-tuner form beyond that.

Don't get me wrong: classic muscle definitely needs some love, too. Frankly, I still reckon that a two-way split, 'imports vs. muscle' (with maybe the best part of a dozen of each!), would be a great, broad-appeal update. But there's a difference between 'not enough of something that already exists' and 'the couple of examples are the exception, not the rule'. If some kind of nod to '90s consumer-grade sports imports doesn't happen in the next update or two, then ...seriously, R*, what are you playing at? :whuh:

It's kinda hard to imagine the skies of los santos full of all kinds of aircraft right now. I only see the odd hydra, buzzard every now and again but the sights on tuesday lol carpet bombings, crazy fast jets and gliders coming from everywhere. Truly will be a warzone this time around, from up above!

True true... everybody is gonna get shot down or shot outta the sky war is coming. Edited by Devdevi45

meanwhile gunrunning has me using 4 f*cking vehicles to move product when all that product easily fits in the trailer, but no I get the trailer when I'm delivering basically nothing.

...bit of a coda to my previous post, but if R* really did do a 'Midnight Club update', then 'tuners vs. muscle' really would be the appropriate way to go, considering how muscle cars got a much bigger look-in when the series made the shift to licensed cars with Midnight Club 3:

hidef_4a.jpg

Granted, it's not like R* couldn't slap the name on any old update - 'Smuggler's Run' is very much in name only, after all. But hey, there's been word that R*'s reviving the series - can't think of a better way to build hype and revive awareness/nostalgia for the series than to pay homage with a decent car-centric GTAO update...

"Most adequate"

Because a Post Op van or a Marshall couldn't be the most adequate thing for nothing, but you know, R*'s logic striking.

Please correct me If I am wrong but I don't think there has been a gta version of the 70s challenger, if not this is a perfect opportunity for them to add it. This along with a dominator classic and a 70s roadrunner! Either of these babys will do!

Bout time somebody else mentions a Midnight Club style update. Heavy emphasis on bringing the customization from MCLA, of course.

The obvious issue is if they bring massive customization options, why would any of us buy a new Midnight Club.

I still would, but im sure this question is holding us back from getting some things we really really want.

That's easy, because Midnight Club would still have real cars, which makes it far superior to GTA. Even still, do you think they will ever make another Midnight Club? I would love it if they did, but the best I've heard is speculation about maybe a remastered MCLA.

Wait, nvmd I'm not so sure I'd even get excited for a new Midnight Club anymore. If R*/Take Two stick to this ridiculously greedy shark card system in all their games, I'll probably never buy another game from them anyway.

Lol of course people would still be a new Midnight Club. GTA will never have that good of customization and MC has licenced cars.

Exactly. And it's not like I'm asking for everything from MC to be added to GTA. You know, some tire and wheel sizing, proper suspension lifting/lowering, matte finish for crew color, and maybe correcting the horrible wheel colors would be great. Hell the suspension and wheel sizing alone would be the biggest game changer ever in GTA. So many old cars I would actually buy again if I could do them justice with just those mods. True, but it is still a factor in the equation=> How much customization can be added before you reach a point of stealing your own customers. People are different, so how large a segment would be ok with X customization and would load up gta instead of a new purchase?

I myself love racing. I would end up buying a new MC even if gta had a commensurate level of options, if only to race real cars. I would also buy a new MC since it would have a built in racing community and gta will hemorrhage players eventually.

These are things that we as players know, but do the R* execs? Do they even race? Likely not much, so what seems obvious to you or I may not really be seen by them.

If they add a street racing update with mainly tuners and muscles, and with night clubs (because you would be clubbing at midnight :p ), that would be perfect.

It's also good to see that the new planes/helicopters will be able to be customized with some sort of defense mechanisms. I'm sure the explosive sniper will still do a number on these vehicles, but it's something.

Oh, and do any of you guys think we will be able to store large trucks in these hangars like in Story Mode?

They go hand in hand imo. It wouldn't feel right if we got tuners with no muscle.. and vice versa.

I'll probably never buy MC games again. If I wanna Race,(Thats a Rarity nowadays) I'll jump on to FH3.

Also at least there, I Can enjoy playing in the snow anytime I want ... I cant say the same about GTA ...

BTW My only Favorite MC was the Original for GBA, I seem to remember using cheat codes to get all the Vehicle Upgrades. If I remember correctly, I Had loads of Fun with a Crown Vic Taxi cab? that I turned into a front loader Tractor. I May have my Games Confused, though Its been a long time since I played that Game.

That rainbow border is what MrBossFTW uses, and I'm guessing he posted it, because that's exactly what his thumbnails look like. Definitely fake, without even mentioning the fonts, incorrect "included in" and bad vehicle portraits.

More than likely a thumbnail for one of his 15 minute videos where he guesses the prices.

Hoping for a break from super cars, and leaning towards Hot Rods and Muscle, LS is based in USA after all...

Mix it with this beauty and call it a day. 1200px-1948_Tucker_Torpedo_8511815871.jpWant your mind blown? Rockstar already has a model of a Tucker saved on a ZipDisk somewhere. It was one of the bonus cars available in L.A. Noire.
