Yeah, but the Goose was manufactured in 1937 lol. I would have preferred a proper Osprey, or even a a V-280 Valor if they wanted to keep it futuristic.

Oh and the flares part is true, that was even pointed out in the video...

 

 

Do you know how many different types of explosion and particle effects there are in the game? I think there's about 20 different explosion types and well over double that for particle effects. Besides, countermeasures have been attempted as a PC mod already, and it's far from anything really workable in a >30-player environment. If they wanted to add a countermeasure, they'd just use the signal jammer from the CEO crate delivery vehicles and either have that as an extra upgrade (and thus it's used in-game as a selectable weapon) or require the second player to use it.

The other thing to consider is that if this countermeasure can be used an unlimited amount of times, it'd render anything like the AA Trailer (missiles) and Homing Launcher completely useless, apart from in missions or the players who've not got that upgrade yet, etc.

 

My opinion is there's a huge flash of light to signify a barrage of unguided missiles being fired all at once. They'd probably be better to put a 10 second cooldown on using the jammer.

 

Nevertheless, I'll try to remain open-minded.

Though, I really wish they just picked a single theme with these updates and based cars and vehicles around that.

I mean, yeah, this is planes, but with that one leaked supercar snap rolling around I can't help but think the vehicle selection will be one part hype and two parts disappointment...

 

That, or we could just fast forward to speculating which vehicles will be glitched (i.e. like Gunrunning vehicle heavy armor not blocking bullets while disabling the use of personal weapons) and which vehicles will ruin freemode even more (like the Oppresor...)

 

Literally the only thing left to look forward to is cars, and I'm skeptical since they botched the Ardent so comically badly...

Hell, Ron being the focus of this update brings some hope of a more down-to-earth theme in the vehicles.

Planes don't count. Those are crazy, but welcomed.
