My gut is telling me the Hunter will be around 3.5 million to start, then more with upgrades and customization.

It's reasonable if you think about it

It can only be determined as "reasonable" based on what it actually does. If it has (real) armor, missile-jamming flares, the Savage's gun and missiles, can be instaspawned like the CEO Buzzard, and can all be operated solo; then $8M is reasonable.

Start taking away some of those attributes (especially the solo operation) and the price needs to come down in proportion.

 

thing is both options are not good ideas.

 

in option 1 you have a lazer combined with a hydra with the armor of fullly loaded ruiner (don't need to explain why that would horrible)

 

in option 2 the 8 mill is way to much for something that the hunter will most likely turn out to be.

Which one would you rather have? Sh*t armor like the savage and slow as F*ck for 1 mill or Extreme armor with full speed that can do tricks with a lot of cool things on it for 8 mill

what i want is a semi strong heli that can handle itself without stepping in the shoes of your regular griefing tool.

 

rather buy a second yacht then spending so much on a heli just because it's "unstoppable".

Don't forget everyone has to enjoy this update, making things too expensive will attract players away.

Realistically vehicles will be reasonable priced, but if you want the best upgrades then you will have to get the piggy bank out.

It has the ability to knock out homing rockets or rockets in general or has a chance to. That much is clear. The specifics and exact specs will be confirmed on the 29th.

people on here ALWAYS expect way to much even when doing so sounds logical (apc fiasco comes to mind) and they always blame rockstar while calling them names etc.

 

OT those flares should have been an obvious sign that it is there to make up for something armor wise this is rockstar afterall... it might take 2 rockets maybe 3 with max upgrades but more then that is just a tale from the realms of dreams. just think for a second.

Lets be realistic here:

- I expect it to survive 2 rockets after upgrading

- limited amount of flares

- surly you can't spawn it next to you... It's way to big for that

 

=2~3 millions without upgrades

It may not be flares, but flares are more likely then npcs shooting fireworks at Hunter...

As much as I agree with the fact that some people's expectations are often too high, the APC is all but logical. It either shoots Rhino shells from a tiny cannon or anti-air missiles that are mostly efficient against ground targets.
