I think most drip fed vehicles will be cars. However, it would not surprise me at all to see the buzzard custom etc. show up as drip feed. I find this idea a bit scary, as we have plenty of air stuff already that would be eligible for a custom version, so the dripfeed could last till halloween. That said, if they released a car + custom old air vehicle each week, id be cool with that.

 

I believe all the planes/new helis will be available right away since they wil probably have missions attached to them.

On Tuesday we will know how long the Drip-feed lasts, if there is new Halloween masks/items or new Christmas Masks/Clothes, then that is a clear indication.

Wouldn't be surprised if the drip-feed stuff this time goes the same route as Gunrunning - i.e., most (if not all) of the regular cars are going to come later.

 

Likewise, I'm wondering if R* isn't going to do the same again, and do upgraded '______ Custom' versions of things like the Cuban 800 (hence the grey one in the trailer), quite possibly as drip-feed stuff, while putting out the majority of the brand-new air vehicles on Day 1.

I have more trust that Rockstar will triple the GTA$ of Shark Cards before I trust the saved-outfit slots. Every update has deleted one or more (or ALL) outfits since the Cop outfits were permabanned. I'm not talking about glitched-combination ones or forbidden items, but just regular clothes and even saved versions of Rockstar-created outfits.

Well, were actually getting Pegasus/Personal Aircraft storage that a few of us have been begging for. Both Happy and Piro made threads asking almost specifically for what will be releasing this Tuesday. So more garage space and outfit slots shoukd be no problemo really... and maybe throw in a Windsor Classic while they're at it.

How about we get our characters feet back on earth and ask for a DLC that isn't luxury / high end / military or gadgets and places used by a criminal mastermind from a movie ?

 

These themes are only interesting for so long... I get it, its GTA a crime game by definition sure, but its a sandbox game before that and not everyone enjoy playing as a CEO of a multimillionaire crooked company smuggling illegal stuff, at least not all the time. Which is sadly enforced to do so by R* if you want to go anywhere nowadays. (research is the best example)

 

 

I for one think that the im not a hipster dlc was the best they ever added. Not in term of size of course but content. More "normal" cars and such.

This is the kind of stuff i want to see more often, beside a proper fully fledged Tuner DLC, but that goes without saying.

 

Highlighted that bit, because that's the nail hit squarely on the head, IMO. GTA's long been a game where there was enough variety in terms of what's on offer, that there's something for everyone. Same with Online updates - used to be that back in the day, you'd have things like Heists or Ill-Gotten Gains, where there was a real mix of things. Don't like the Hydra? Maybe the Casco or the Guardian is more your thing. Don't like the Stirling GT? Maybe you'll have more fun with the Brawler.

 

Ever since Lowriders, R*'s gone all-in with single-theme updates - problem being, if you don't like that them, then you're out of luck for new content for several months. And with the Freemode business model added with FAFF, they've restricted the bulk of new playable activities to the one, restrictive approach to both crime and gameplay. If you don't want to be some big-money black market delivery service, or you don't enjoy the mess that is your average public Freemode warzone, then good luck trying to find fun new things to do in the 2015 version of GTAO...

 

Couple that in with the narrow emphasis on either high-end luxury cars, or gimmicky vehicles with weapons and other novelties - and how that comes seemingly at the expense of anything else, and it's really frustrating, considering that there are a lot of players out there who don't just want to do constant delivery runs, or just build up a collection of multi-million dollar super-vehicles. Hopefully the new Escort thing represents a bit more variety in the vehicles, but R* really needs to mix up their approach to activities and themes, because it's just so darn stale at this point.

Designed by Bugatti (making it a Truffade in-game) it would have been one of the fastest planes in 1939 (you know who showed up uninvited).

There's two engines in the back, inhaling from those vents in the upper tail edges, each turning one of the contra-rotating propellers on the nose.

Similar boat, was at 20k after buying and upgrading Ardent and the Insurgent Custom.Then after I logged off I saw the annoucement for the update.

But yeah worked myself back up to 2mill. in the free time that I have, these double payouts on car export are helping out a lot.

 

If anything I should be able to buy a hangar and some of the new planes as I doubt that they are going to be more expensive than the bunkers were.

Lol what's wrong with the apc? It takes tons of explosives to destroy and has powerful weapons. Sure you can get shot out of it but if you couldn't it'd be OP. Some could argue it already is.i think the 2 player requirement make the apc less practical.

 

seen that image of the hunter with 2 players give the impression it may require 2 players to operate it, which would suck!

What if it's just one of those Smugglers Run's vehicle missions to unlock a discount on special vehicles? I mean, I don't want to be negative, but it felt the same with Gunrunning and I/E.

So we got Gunrunning which was focused on land vehicles, now were getting Smugglers run which seems focused on air vehicles.

 

calling it now if we get another big update, its gonna be naval ops focused update like bringing back the launch from SA with working 50. cals

and some new sub's.

They could name it the "Microphallus" and there would still be plenty of players that would throw millions into it the instant the download/install and loading was complete.
