So can we now being to speculate just how many pay walls Rockstar is going to put this content behind?

 

Safe to say that you will require the purchase of a hanger, so that's 1

No doubt you will have to buy the aircraft itself, so that's 2

Customisation will no doubt have one. I assume some modification of the GR DLC timed research that you can pay to by pass, so that's 3

Of course you will then have to pay to apply the customisation, so theirs 4.

 

I am wondering if they could really push the boat out and force you to also buy the aircraft version of the MOC just to really nickel and dime it and add a 5th pay wall to the content. I doubt they will be as obvious as that, so I am sticking with at least 4 pay walls to getting a fully upgraded aircraft.

 

Oh and then of course you have the fact that ALL the prop powered planes will be worthless, as will the Hunter (all the folk who have been waiting for ages for it, be ready to have your GTA wallet emptied before being very dis-appointed) because you have the infinite firing Oppressor and the Homing Launcher that any nub can buy. No doubt Rockstar have listened to feedback from the community and will make sure that the fully upgrade Russian Mig can go toe to toe with the Hydra, because why else would anyone pay the 3million bucks it will cost.. Why 3million because it's a newer update so Rockstar logic means that an older technically inferior jet plane will have to cost more than the Hydra currently costs while being just as capable.

I've watched the trailer frame by frame. These are missiles.

 

Im talking about the sparks that appear behind the Hunter

 

I don't think it's like backfire from launching the missiles because the other Hunter is also shooting missiles but no sparks appear behind.

In one of the pictures posted a little back it seems like we can aim the cannon on the Hunter, if we also get flares I'm thinking that they might not remove the auto stabilization on it. Haven't watched the video very closely tho, so it might be possible to see something more there

im worried the escort will be sports classic because of r* rcent sports classic run, i hope it's rally worthy and is a sports to compete with the tropos, kuruma, etc.

I feel like it'll end up absolutely dominating the sedans class

Whatever the paywalls are gonna be, they can't be worse than the Technical/Insurgent Pick-Up Custom:

• Purchase a bunker
• Purchase a Technical/Insurgent Pick-Up
• Purchase a Mobile Operations Center
• Purchase a Vehicle & Weapon Workshop for the Mobile Operations Center
• Purchase a Technical/Insurgent Pick-Up Custom upgrade
• Purchase or wait through the research
• Purchase the items you researched.
• Now you can use your Technical/Insurgent Pick-Up Custom to full extent.

Since there has not been a single mention of an aircraft MOC, it'll probably won't be as bad. If I have to guess the customizable aircraft (if there will be any) will require the hangar and a special mod shop inside the hangar.

Most likely it will either be Sports or Sports Classic.

Given R*'s recent love of forcing armed vehicles to be manned by multiple players in order to fully operate (half-track, APC etc all can only be either driven or shot at any one time by one person, not both) I reckon the pilot of the Hunter can only fire missiles or wing-mounted guns, and the cannon will require a second player to operate.

Yeah, I'm wondering how that will work. I always imagined that even if they added plane/helicopter customization, you would still have to spawn them at airports/helipads.

watching the trailer again, everything looks cool and all but in the core is the same ol...

 

 

buy property to unlock a computer that give you access to the smugglers network.

 

buy a cargo place to stash your loot.

 

sell your loot

 

so yeah, crates business, bikers, imports, gunrunning and smugglers, 5 updates doing the same.

I came to the same conclusion.

 

Only, I don't care this time. CEO, MC, and even Gunrunning I didn't care too much about the new vehicles, I just carefully bought the buildings and ran the business into profits and picked up 1-3 vehicles. Sometimes closing the businesses for good (or worth 2x$ events).

This time I may not do the business side at all (other than fun missions) as I want the hanger and most of the new aircraft.

the only business i made legit profit was the crates business, grinded close to 40million of that one.

 

by the time bikers was released i was burned, made just 1 million and shutdown the entire operation, made profit through nefarious means.

 

with imports i only collected a few cars, completed a few sales, made not even a million with this one.

 

with gunrunning i have a whooping 14,000 on sales and have researched just 8 items haha, made my money back through nefarious means.

 

with this one ill probably be the same for me, buy the clothes, the hangar and the hunter, play the missions, do a smugglin run or two and just enjoy my time in invite only sessions playing with my cars, taking pics and trying to complete the bunker gun challenges.

 

this being my gta life for the past few months.

I wonder then, if this unknown cargo plane can use its cargo ramp, whether the Cargobob and Titan also will be able to do so?

Cheers to everyone who currently predicted that the next dlc after "anti-air gunrunning" will be based around new planes and helis. Typical R* move.

 

 

 

 

Too bad for you aviation enthusiasts, it looks like there are no aircraft on the way, but if you had a poll on the Newswire, I'm sure that would be pretty low on the list behind Supers, Muscle, and everything else.

Why add so much anty air weapons and not gives us any new planes or helis?(...)and when was the last time we had new planes/helis? ages ago! I'm sure new aircrafts are on the way (hopefully in this dlc)

I disagree about that newswire poll part - I think more people requested for the APC, Rustler and Hunter then for any other car in this game. No matter what class.

 

and you mentioned muscle cars only berceuse you like muscle cars. Don't get me wrong - I also love when but I know they wouldn't be on top of a that poll. They would be waaay behind supers and jets (cuz u know, kids).

 

We are slowly getting the things we always wanted (apc from gta4, anti-air weapons)

 

I think planes and helis are coming soon - If not in this update, well maybe in the next one.

Yeah, not just the Besra, I hope we can put liveries on the hydra, and buff for the good old Savage, I want it to be powerful, like her new sister, the Hunter.

I agree that the formula of back and forth cargo updates is pretty tired, but look at all the vehicles here - the Hunter, the Willie, the Rustler, there's tons. And it's even been said there's customization for them.
