I can't remember...

Even Battlefield went through an identity crisis with Hardline thinking they were Call of Duty.thankfully they when back to their roots with battlefield 1 and it was a great move.

 

i hope for the next gta R* hit the reset button and go back to it roots, the game is losing it identity.

OMG!

 

Sorry I took so long my beautiful helicopter friends, I was in a deep sleep, completely unaware of the miracles that were taking place. I love you all though, and I'm really happy with this. My few haters are giving me a nice side dish of salt as well, which is always welcome.

 

First of all ... Wow ... The holy grail ... FInally. It is a new model actually, it looks like. I think they've put more Commanche in it this time. But that is a lovely helicopter too, and there's enough Apache in it that it has that Hunter flavour, you know? Yeah, this is what I've been waiting for.

 

It's all ... I mean, it's like my thread word for word. The Hunter, the Little Willie, the Skylift, what looks like customization for them, the Rustler, planes dropping bombs, what looks like a Mig/old jet. I've even heard lex saying the Hunter had flares, but I haven't had time to analyse it yet (I will though, believe me).

Only time will tell..but considering GTA is one of the best sandbox games out there.. They want something for everyone to bring in more people.

Now the Autogyro and the Mosquito XE-lookalike or smth look like some nice toys. Hope they won't cost too much, in that case I can finally have some aerial fun and have some good shipment collection vehicles.

 

Also want to see what kind of PVE missions they can add in that update, seems some footage was from these missions. Don't know why would we commit a night raid at the power station - certainly not smuggling something. And that O'Neil bombing could be a part of some mission too.

 

Although flying on a PC is a bit hard, might be just the time to pick up a gamepad to soothe my pain from flying on Numpads.

That term is over used. Literally any game can be a knock off in the sense..

 

But yeah, only GTA can beat GTA at this point.

 

Honestly though, people say Saints Row was a knock off of GTA, but people loved(or hated) it. They decided to do their own thing to stand out from GTA, again, people loved(or hated) it.. Just, ugh, tbh.

Only problem with this analogy is Battlefield and Hardline were the products of two different studios.

 

DICE is the company that makes the Battlefield

Visceral Studios was hired to make a replacement for Medal of Honor.

Visceral Studios is the one that came up with the idea for Cops and Robbers. They just decided to build the game off of BF4/ with Frostbite 3.

 

With this situation the studio that creates the main title and the creator of this one are one and the same.

 

Regardless of personal opinions video games are governed by the laws of economics. The only way to get a franchise to change paths is through revenue.
