Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 4)

I feel like some of these guys are a false flag, to make aircraft guys look bad. Most of use are peaceful, loving guys, who would never just randomly start insulting people.

 

On topic: I reallly think the Rhino deserves de-nerfing now, especially if the APC has a Valkyrie-type cannon.

inb4 it has a strafing canon like the jets

 

wait we never saw the normal apc shoot in the trailer right? (...)

 

How is the normal apc though? Bigboldheavy 50 cal or rapidfire? or bit of both?

 

How was it in TBoGT?

It's lovely that it is customize-able which means that tires are bulletproof! Isn't that just nice?

I'd love to see some 'secret' entrances to bunkers built into the sides of rock faces or something, that'd be epic.

I might have returned to GTA:O for a while if they put some actually interesting stuff in but now I feel like getting PS+ for this ain't worth it, the APC seems cool and the bunkers seem interesting but this was definitely a letdown as i was expecting some kind of air vehicle and new weapons instead of just old ones with black ops 3-tier camouflages and new furniture

I'd rather wait until the update actually comes out before making that decision if I were you. I'm still interested in seeing what they haven't shown, I'm just reaaaally doubtful that they haven't shown something major that could win me over and get me to subscribe to PS+ again

Maybe Part II? Who knows. We get a Goddamn APC... Mobile operation center which is able to store a goddamn vehicle. Also... Bunkers! ooooooh booooiiiiiiii. The only thing i hated about the Gunrunning is it's trailer... It doesn't give you HYPE. It's just like the Heists trailer. I was expecting a I/E like trailer with epic song. Believe me everyone were expecting that. But they're developing a BIG game! We gotta give it to them. I'm still thankfull for a FREE DLC for a game that was released 4 years ago. Still, that doesn't mean i love you Rockstar... f*ck you for not giving us the Hunter.

How was it in TBoGT?

 

It was pretty powerful. I'd say the cannon fired about the same rate as the Valkyrie's explosive rounds.Not so powerful when compared to GTA Online's vehicles. There was no crosshair, the cannon (while having a moderate ROF) took around 6-8 shots to blow a vehicles up and it could only survive 2-3 explosions but yeah, it still was the only armed land vehicle. I expect it to get a buff (maybe not the amor, it would make sense to keep it less durable than a Rhino).

SMG weapon (What this weapon is has not been confirmed yet by the community but we agree that it's an SMG. Watch the trailer to see that the rate of fire of this weapon is slow almost like a semi auto.)

 

 

 

well i think this gun is a heavy modified version of the GTA 4 MP5

Thats not an MP5, it is a direct replica of the S&W MP 10 smg. The MP5 did not appear in gta 4. In fact it was cut before release if i remember correctly.

mp10, it's named mp5 internally because the previous top range smg was the mp5 which was cut and replaced with the current model, however the file name was kept the same because changes were probably last minute and file name changes would have meant that a load of hard coded(ie cheats), scripts(missions where enemies are using the weapon or the player is given one) or even map files(some weapons are spawned via placements rather that in the script) would have had to be changed

Oh and yeah it's not the SMG from IV returning, just a modified version of the V one (same as the Assault Rifle, Combat MY etc)

Since you guys mentioned part 2 of updates earlier(was going through the thread on tablet) I surely would like to see that happen, on the bikers side they still haven't added the Freeway which is a GTA classic.

I wonder if we can use the camo liveries on the MOC. You know, to help hiding it. Im going for matte olive green on mine but im not sure thout would be enough given the size of the thing. But if we get the digital green camo pattern the APC has when its destroying the Savage, that'd be nice and useful in places with some vegetation, like the (unfortunately way too) small forest by the canyon.

I think the current entrance of bunkers is epic enough from what i saw in the trailer and in Mach's scheme

I dunno why, but I'm really tempted to paint the MOC in Gulf racing livery to match the Hauler, or in bare aluminum for that Airstream vintage look if I can't match it with the Hauler.
