but OT: What would be the size of this update? MB-wise.

The Heist update is the biggest one at around 2.84GB.

The Bikers is at around 1.66GB

Finance & Felony and Import/Export are under 1GB.

 

I'm guessing since they call this massive and from the amount of customization, weapons and interior, it could be from 1.5GB to 2GB. Am i right?

 

My guess is probably gonna around 2-3GB possibly.

Give me a thermal scope on my Heavy? You know Rockstar? Now nothing can distract me and i will be a Terminator! I'm not happy with that! If i can be Terminator, so will others. Do you realize how easy it will be to shoot down a pilot in a heli or a jet? Did you guys even think about that? Oh God! This was my FIRST talk when i joined. That thermal scope is way OP than anything. This is not good! Nooooot goooood.

Yeah I remember when you said the thermal scope wasn't going to be good for online. Seems like you cherry pick the military content that you prefer and shun what others want. I could totally see you complaining about that one scope even if you got the 5 tanks and the aircraft you wanted. Like i said before if the sniper has the shot it's his kill. Sniping players out of a jet or helicopter is nothing new. It doesn't matter if someone's using iron sights, ACOG, red dot or a thermal scope on a Heavy Sniper. If you have the skill to line up the shot you deserve the kill. You act like all of the sudden a thermal scope is going to turn a noob sniper into a quickscoping god. That's just not realistic.

 

You know how thermal scope works man? You can easly see the glowing red doesn't matter the distance and you can easly locate the target and shoot it. Without the termal it's impossible to see the player in an aircraft from distance. It is very clear with thermal because everything is pastel blue except your target. It is insanely powerfull!

 

Is it as powerful as a tank, hydra or getting locked on to with a homing missile? All of those are guaranteed kills compared to a scope that doesn't aim for you. It's 2017 and we have so many armored vehicles dominating the streets and you're scared of a thermal scope? Really dude..

It is not easy to control a hydra. If you're above level 400 which means you are a hardcore gta player. You will know what to do instead of moaning and crying.

But you can't say GTA:O wouldn't be a better place without Hydra? I know there would probably be some other thing to complain, but Hydra is one of the biggest reasons why people hate the freemode oriented gameplay, that R* seems to be focusing.

 

Personally I think Hydra is great, if you're doing crate pick ups solo, but if Hydra were removed now, who would really complain and why?

There are jet fans of course, but if I wishlist Hot Rods and get them, they don't ruin majority of peoples game.

Hydra is the biggest nightmare of rookies of gta world and piece of candy for hardcore gamers. Just plant a c4 on the ground and shoot and rpg then blow yourself up. Repeat this untill you kill that guy. Or go offradar and jump into a hydra and kill him. There are many ways but it requires time which many people doesn't have. People just want to join and play the game like sims. But if you want to do that join an active crew and there you go! You have bunch of jets protecting you and your cargo also crew members around. I mean... the easiest thing is to complain. Life is not easy! the game can't serve rookies as they ask for it. You have to be nice and find a good crew.So you're saying to play like a cheap scumbag against jets. Telling people to blow themselves up and shoot an RPG like a Tryhard caring about his KD... So many things wrong with that.

I think the Rocket Bike has a little 4 pod thing of rockets where the headlight should go. Thats the only place I can see them fitting. Same ones that are in the Tampa headlight.

It all depends on how much armor the APC has on it really.

 

Which has a longer range?

 

If it's the tank, I guess that's something it'd have in its favour. If it's the Valkyrie gun though, then I think the APC would very quickly destroy a tank.

 

Not that I don't want the APC to be powerful. I do actually love the APC, and I'm glad to see it return.

No one is defenseless. Passive is always an option. Jets have an icon, and if someone goes off the radar that's their fault for not being aware of the fact. Abusing game mechanics to avoid someone killing you is way more annoying than dealing with a jet in the sky. But anyways, this is really off topic.

I get that, you can defeat them, but I would say (I have no statistics) majority of the player base are not like that, so most people hate Hydra. Even these forums the first concern seems to be "how this new DLC works, when there are jets flying around" Just like when this Gunrunning was released, one of the major points was how these APC's fight against jets, so clearly the jets are a concern for most of the people, even if you and me are able to deal with them.

It was pretty powerful. I'd say the cannon fired about the same rate as the Valkyrie's explosive rounds.

We kinda went to the outside rails but it's still binded to the topic. At first guys were arguing that Rockstar said Hydra was a mistake and future aircraft is not positive. Then the conversation started. Don't worry! If it goes off-rail hardworking mods will warn us.
