I don't think that R* will touch the human smuggling. It's too touchy subject...

R* would receive a huge amount of public backlash for human trafficking. It would be a horrible decision, especially with recent news out of Texas

 

I've seen it suggested once or twice and I cannot figure out why. Besides how immoral it is, I can't even picture that being fun or profitable...

If they were to redo illegal street racing, it would probably end up be racing in freemode. Imagine you're about to win a race, but some kid not in the race blows you up with a jet...

Looks like they've updated the 271594 depot (update folder), it can be more than a fix.

Update.rpf have the game scripts and other textures and also 271594 contains the game exe.

It sure need to be updated for fixes as well, if it's a launcher/socialclub fix then they don't have to update it.

If they were to redo illegal street racing, it would probably end up be racing in freemode. Imagine you're about to win a race, but some kid not in the race blows you up with a jet...

 

That is, unless the freemode race makes you passive from everyone else not participating. Leaving your selected vehicles makes you passive if you try to get into a jet.

Wouldn't surprise me at this point if R* had us waiting 10 hours to produce a batch of moonshine. We have to research all the production equipment before we can make the moonshine and sales have us driving a BF Injection while being chased by waves of NPC Lazers.

I doubt human trafficking would ever happen, too real, too heavy. Generally, the game doesnt encourage violence towards innocents. It'd be right up there with Mass Shooting/Rapist/kiddie porn DLC. Its just not a good idea. I would stop supporting R*

Controversy is one thing I.e. the alturists being naked... Kidnapping and selling people against their will is another. I don't get offended easily, but a dlc like that wouldn't sit well with me. It's just immoral, wrong and quite frankly disgusting. I don't care if it's a video game, you can still cross a line.

In a way, kidnapping and selling people against their will is already in the game....Story mode anyway. As Trevor, there are times you can pick up random people marked with "?" and instead of delivering them to their destination, you have the choice of delivering them to the Altruist camp for a small sum of $.

There's also a side quest where you save a woman from the altruists.

In SP you also have torture, eating people and flushing body parts down the toiler (they have to show how crazy trevor is cause thats part of the story)

but that don't mean we gonna a get "torture and cannibals dlcs" right?

I know it may sound silly but from a business point of view theres a huge difference between Story Mode and online crate runs made from people.

 

For example notice how we always have the "moral high ground" when we steal something in this game - its always "from the bad guys" or "corrupt cops" or "military that wants to sell it to terrorists" and stuff like that.

 

Human trafficking would be bad press for R*
