Not really, there's two types of "do this to unlock this shirt".

One that require you to purchase Gunrunning stuff and the other to do some Gunrunning missions.

Well, I'm in a meeting with my research staff. Getting them ready to go to work. Got my insurgent pickup parked in the bunker, ready for it's final upgrade.

 

Hope I'm wrong though, would rather see the Nightshark.

Looks like Rockstar Support have been updated or maybe I didn't notice it and it was there the whole time ?

Make a new request for Missing Items, HVY Insurgent Pickup Custom would be listed as one of the vehicles.

It's strange as they didn't add XA-21 or Ardent or Nightshark so that might confirm it ?

You know, that it downgrades your Insurgent? You know that it just gives you 3 usless armor options, GAU 16 like minigun, which just shoots faster, liveries and that's it?

Are they any more useless than stock windows that don't tank any bullets? Faster fire rate on mgs make it easier to hit fast moving targets such as f*cking oppressors, liveries that include camos that can make vehicles disappear from sight. Oh and you get to call it like a regular personal vehicle and makes it so anybody who blows you up pays $20k

At least the Pegasus version don't blow up after just 4 explosions... Also WTF are you talking about liveries? They are useless, they don't hide sh*t, especially when half of the "community" paints it pink or neon green...

Liveries and being able to respray it makes it look better. That's all that matters to me. NPCs in missions aren't using explosives, and I don't use vehicles much in free roam fights.

Well, being a personal vehicle gives it several advantages, like the fact that you can change its paint job, that it can't be stolen and that you don't have to call mrs "sorry we could not deliver this vehicle to you". All of the armor options but the 4th are cosmetic but cheap too, so I don't see the problem with that. I'm not interested in liveries and the minigun turret either (it deals less damage), but they are options too.

I bought it when it was for sale some years ago, but even at full price (with the upgrade costs added) it's still cheaper than the Armored Boxville, which can only survive a single explosion.

bought mine several months ago with a discounted price ... to make it a personal vehicle for 200k is a good deal , but what makes it really useful for me is the fact that you can still keep the Pegasus vehicle once upgraded , so I´m definitely upgrading mine ... shame on the armor though ...

but wait , will the new upgraded Gun be worse than the old pegasus one ?

PS : it will be the Insurgent custom this week for sure, right ?

good point !

bought mine several months ago with a discounted price ... to make it a personal vehicle for 200k is a good deal , but what makes it really useful for me is the fact that you can still keep the Pegasus vehicle once upgraded , so I´m definitely upgrading mine ... shame on the armor though ...

The upgraded gun has the same stats as all of the other vehicle-mounted miniguns (I'm not sure if the fact that it only has 3 barrells will make it worse), so an higher rate of fire but a lower damage. They are both very good, but the original one is more effective against vehicles.
