Is anybody else just sick and f*cking tired of dripfeeding?

 

I have no use to play this game if those cars aren't in the game. I have $24 mill left, I'll probably just get on sometime in late July, buy all the cars and kill my money, then retire. If the cars were all out now, I'd still be playing and playing for a good few weeks.

 

I'm sick of business's too, I feel like we didn't even need The Bunker, it just feels like another business that I won't use (and that f*ckING paywall). Now to get the sh*t that is actually good, we have to wait even longer. Like f*ck, what a horrible idea. And I only expect one car a week, having 7 dripfeeds just makes R*'s dick hard I guess.

Lol that I can assure you isn't happeningI agree. It makes more sense to give us those towards the end of the drip feed since we just got a bunch of weaponized vehicles a week ago.

 

If we get something tomorrow I'm betting it's the Vagner.

...see, as someone who tends to get left out by most updates these days, one benefit to R* holding back a bunch of things is that my hype actually picks back up when there's something nice on the horizon. I was cautiously optimistic for Gunrunning, then mostly just annoyed and frustrated by the update, but I've still got the Cheetah Classic coming, so I'm looking forward to having fun with that whenever it arrives.

 

And in the unlikely event of R* putting out an update where the main stuff on Day 1 is right up my alley, having stuff held back for later just means the novelty will take longer to wear off. I mean, granted, R* actually impressing me with an update for the first time since Ill-Gotten Gains will probably fry my poor, tortured brain (), but in theory, an update that amounts to 'a month of good stuff' isn't a bad thing, IMO. Besides, I don't imagine I'd be able to burn through all the initial stuff fast enough to get bored and want the 'drip-fed' stuff sooner, anyway...

 

(meanwhile, for the businesses, I just wish R* would theme one around something I'd actually want to do - and again, it'd be nice to have a more PvE-centric thing that doesn't just have to be done in public sessions...)

Slowing down? They're on pretty much the same 3-months-ish schedule as they've been for a long time - in fact, since the move away from last-gen machines, updates have come out reasonably consistently like that (exceptional cases like Cunning Stunts aside).

 

As for vehicles coming out a week after the update, eh, we've had that happen with Cunning Stunts, Bikers, Import/Export and Special Vehicle Circuit. Custom Classics and FAFF had longer waits before releasing additional vehicles, but those were the earliest two 'drip-feed' updates, and also only had three locked vehicle apiece - once R* got settled into the month-long release model with Cunning Stunts, new stuff almost every week has been the norm.

it's been almost 7 months since the last big update, they are slowing down, yea there's some filler updates and drip feed but it's really not much, I'm not expecting another big update like this for a few months, maybe even at all. The team working on online is a lot smaller now, RDR2 is coming out, also, quality is dropping (copy pasted props but whatever).
