Any ideas what the best bunker location is so far? I'm leaning towards grapeseed since it's close to a airstrip and away from the cluster of bunkers South of the Lake.

I have a feeling those ones are going to be chaotic cos of their close proximity to each other.

Ratton canyon seems like a nice option too.

Does anyone know yet if theirs any advantage to getting the most expensive option?

The most expensive - the closest to Los Santos and nicest of them all. Peaceful Rancho ;)The scenery is nice. Thing is, I hate the city. I'm a Paleto Bay resident till i die lol. Having said that, i do want to diversify a bit so i won't be buying a bunker there.

Can i spawn my hydra or buzzard at the bunker? I guess that will be the clincher between buying grapeseed or ratton

You need to buy the ones at the top of the page

Would like more details regarding this.

 

I haven't had a chance to research any additional ammo types but tracers were unlocked from the start.

 

When you switch ammo types, the gun draws from a separate pool than the rest of the weapons in the same class.

 

Ex. The Combat MG with tracers no longer shares ammo with the regular MG or the Gusenburg.

 

This separate ammo pool has a lower cap than regular ammo; the tracers had a cap of 500 rounds. I'm a pretty sure the other specialty rounds will work the same way.

 

You also can't restock special ammo from the interaction menu or ammunation stores either. You have to restock from the MOC. I'm assuming they did this for balancing purposes since in the stats screen it shows that specialty ammo increases gun damage.

 

Side note: Tracers are pretty disappointing to be honest. The visual effect only seems to work every 5 or so rounds and is pretty underwhelming, even at night. It's essentially just a nerf to your gun's ammo capacity lol.

first little bug - every time I change licence plates on MOC it changes back after couple minutes

 

things I noticed so far:

- money sink hole but fun so far

- you can steal supplies from other players even if you are in the middle of your own resupply mission (icons are always on map. Similar to I/E cars)

- OST music is nice

- resupply missions are hard to do alone. I died 3x from npcs in kurumas and 0x from other players (and I killed 5 of them on my way back)

What is the MTU thing ? Im interested.

 

You set your MTU on Network settings to low values (900, 950) and you get empty public lobbies, been playing like this since the CEO DLC

 

When I logged into the game, I got this "Welcome. Don't cheat. We have anti-cheat measures blah blah" message from Rockstar. Just clicked right through it. I know MTU is a feature of the console itself, but can they claim its use is cheating or exploiting? Well, when money is in play, they will of course.

Never got said message, and i've been using it for months now

There is only one version of the technical and insurgent pick up available on warstock. You can't upgrade them, just tried it.

Yes that is exactly how real tracers are used.

Ahh I see. I wasn't sure about the technicality of tracer rounds. I assumed all bullets fired from guns equipped with tracers would have the "tracing" effect. Thank you for enlightening me.

 

Regardless, the effect is quite minimal; it's quite hard to notice even in darkness. It also doesn't provide any additional damage boost but still comes with the lowered ammo capacity and the restocking limitations of the other special ammo. Essentially a nerf for an insignificant visual effect. :/

Agreed. I've been playing since 2013 and never purchased a tank. Never will cos it's not my style but they went from way overpowered to weak as a kitten. Massively OTT on the nerf. I wish they were stronger cos I used to like battling against them but no one bothers with them any more

It looks like Bikers 2.0 ok, but if you play as CEO, you have all the benefits that a biker can't, right? Ghost organization, CEO vehicles via interaction menu...

yeah you unlock them by doing supply runs. You can start them from MOC (I think you need upgraded version for that)

Sooooo, fun or mach, somebody, do I need the vehicle upgtade bay on the moc to upgrade the vehicles, or can I take them somewhere else? I would prefer to store a pv in the moc but I cant do both.

Just did a quick check out of this DLC, my impressions:

 

-All new content is retarded military bullsh*t.

-Prices are utter bullsh*t.

-Discounts on Adder and FMJ.

 

Final DLC score: Bullsh*t (As usual).

 

Good thing inwasn't excited by this update.

 

Edit: Got greeted by the "Don't cheat" message despite having my MTU to auto, so i guess is a broadcast message

C´mon people, post pictures. I´m at work and need some distraction. I want to see the tuning options for the new vehicles. Checkin every minute the vehicle section but quit no pictures yet.

I´m still at work but what i hear so far seems to be good, finally a sort of process we need to fulfill to get all the new material from the update and not that usual "1-click and got it all"-content.
I´m looking forward researching all the weapon and armour-upgrades and so on. Will be fun with my crew to unlock this for all of us :D
