I have to say this update is a major dispointement for me.

 

-The weapons and other sh*t are gated behind a slow ass grind that is forced to be done in public lobbies.

(known ways to get solo pub sessions have been patched)

 

-Halftrack and APC can't be fully used solo. I ain't gonna buy them.

(it's a multiplayer game but i want to play along other people not with them, im a lone wolf)

 

-The bike costs waaaay too much for what it is.

 

-Most clothes are not available in the colors i wanted and are just fashionable camo apart from maybe 1 or 2 types of clothing.

(No red beret? f*cking seriously ?)

 

-Can't use the Moc without being CEO.

 

 

 

 

I'll force myself to grind everything for the heavy sniper because that's the only way this update is gonna help me to fight jets. Since i play on my own that's all im gonna do.

Part 1 is for ground business.

Part 2 is for water/air business stuff...

What? Where is anything confirmed?

 

Did I miss smth? Smbd revealed Gunrunning Part 2 yesterday. To think logically, we had not any air/water business stuff for a while, Part 1 is fully dedicated to ground business so Part 2 seems legit to me...

 

I hope there is a part 2

You set your MTU on Network settings to low values (900, 950) and you get empty public lobbies, been playing like this since the CEO DLC

Agreed. Don't let my usual negative stance on stuff fool anyone - the vehicles are pretty disappointing. APC is a shadow of what it was, and everything needs 2 people. The stuff didn't seem to aim up very high either.

 

I bought a bunker, got disconnected while buying an MOC - I almost can't even be bothered setting up a session again.

For the ps4, you set up a connection, use a custom setting, when you get to mtu setting, lower it to 750 or something. Take a long time to do anything, but it works I guess.

 

Also, how do I customize these new vehicles?

Hi, regarding the MTU questions:

 

On PS4 it is pretty easy, you open up the network settings and customize the settings by yourself.

You can choose "automatic" at every single option except MTU which defines the size of the packages that are being sent over the network. Normally the value is at 1500, to get into solo lobbies, you need to set that value to 760-850 (works for me). Confirm settings, start GTA et voila! You can play solo in a public session.

 

PS: Like I said, this is the process at PS4, I don't know if there is a method on Xbone. On computers you can play by yourself by blocking some ports, I don't know them though.

PPS: Sorry for bad grammar/spelling, I'm no native speaker and didn't have to write in english in quite some time.

When I logged into the game, I got this "Welcome. Don't cheat. We have anti-cheat measures blah blah" message from Rockstar. Just clicked right through it. I know MTU is a feature of the console itself, but can they claim its use is cheating or exploiting? Well, when money is in play, they will of course.

I'm pretty sure people are only talking up a GR part 2 just because they want the Hunter so much.

 

Even if there was supposed a part 2 to this, Gunrunning would have "Part 1" in the name, like IGG.

Weapons ARE upgradeable if you get the weapon thing in the MOC, however, all the good upgrades are locked behind research unlocks. Which personally, i'm ok with, it means every noob and their brother won't have them. But hey i get why people want them now, i certainly do.

Well you can switch seats in the dunebuggy so thats probably the only vehicle im going to buy.

Can anyone please explain to me how the vehicle storage in the MOC and in the bunker works? Can i permanently park a vehicle there?
