When you think the time is right can we see the poll options say something like:

 

What's the first thing you will do when the update is out?

 

Go straight to Ammu-Nation to buy new guns.

Go straight to Sub Urban to buy new clothing.

Check the Warstock Cache & Carry in-game website for new vehicles.

Buy a bunker off of the Maze Bank Foreclosure in-game website.

 

 

I think it would be interesting to see what players traditionally do when they first spawn into freeemode after they install the update

Don't know if you can add a poll about that cause everyone is gonna have a different experience.

 

For example, my ritual after it downloads is:

• OpenIV to look through the game files
• Log on to see which ones are released on day1
• Barber Shop, Clothes Store, Ammu-nation
• 

-Gonna buy the most pricey bunker

-I'll take a gander at the warstock site

-Omw to the Bunker I'll checkout the new guns, clothes, & haircuts

-From there I'll buy my MOC (can't wait to customize it)

 

Btw how do you look at the game files?

Btw how do you look at the game files?

You have to call up microsoft/sony and ask them very nicely if you can jailbreak your own system. With some magic of a simple cheat code you can look through your system files and see whats changed/new in the updates. Edited June 7, 2017 by RedDagger

And I'm curious, do you always hide posts that are off topic or dumb or banworthy or do some of the worse ones get deleted and the annoying-but-not-really-bad ones just get hidden?

 

Or why not delete all of them... that would save server space, yeah?

Everything gets hidden because you never know when a post needs to be unhidden/moved/linked for other staff - deleting is rather permanent and there's no harm in keeping them hidden, they don't have a large effect on server space I imagine.

Thinking more into it yeah, images can't be posted, only linked, so even huge posts are... what, a few kilobytes?

 

Yeah I just copied your post into a text document and it was only 1kb. Being generous and saying on average they are 2k, I'll go ahead and say that 5000 x 2 is 10,000, which is... 10MB? Hah, that's tiny! Even if we factor in all the quote trains I know are there, that's still gotta be under 100MB which is just a tenth of a gigabyte.

 

Looks like I can do math, but only when it deals with computers >_<

The update might release on the 13th, it might not. If it doesn't, it's because of *reasons* but rest assured that in this scenario, it will still release eventually, albeit at a later date. What i can tell you for sure is that R* are releasing an update, sometime in the near future.

Sounds like we are able to upgrade these things (hence my prediction of a rocket overhaul coming true)
