This has to be fake. Can you imagine spending 10+m just to start researching weapon mods and then you still need to pay 1 million for a scope mod? GTA Online has some expensive items but this is just ridiculous.

I have Bobby Axelrod money and I wouldn't even consider buying a thing in this update if those prices were even close to being real. That should tell Rockstar all they need to know. The average player would likely download the update and then eject the disc and move on to other games.

As much as I would love a "Rolling Coal" Exhaust option, I would quite playing if prices every get to this level. Unless payouts in gunrunning let you make 1-2 mill/hr.

I don't really get the point of the back and forth about the release...Sure it's speculation but even if it is releasing on the 13th that's only a week more. Not that hard to wait 7 days.

DeeDogg- I think they made all the 2x events because they have a verrrrry large segment of players that are sub lvl 100 and those players are usually broke. It would not surprise me if, with all these new players, they have been fielding a much larger volume of complaints about prices. So 2x events alloes them to say, "see, we did right by you, not our fault you wasted that money. You had plenty if warning about GR." I dont think GR will have absurd prices. Probably on par with I/e, which phases me not at all.

 

I think the shark card bonuses have nothing to do with GR prices. They can look at the timing of shark card purchases vs what images they have shown on the newswire and gain some insight into which assets will produce the most card sales.

 

Im thinking now that that analysis they could be doing on card sales could be the reason that real leaks are not really coming. Leaks would totally F up being able to see what images were inducing purchases. Im sure yan an co actually know some stuff, but have been warned that if they share anything regarding unseen content they will be cut off for good.

 

Hopefully after this update, R* will have their metrics and we can start getting leaks again moving forward.

Considering the prices of cool things on other games, the prices are on point! It's both good for Rockstar and us. Why? it'll be time taking which will make it worthy also extend the game time of the dlc, meanwhile Rockstar counting their green(they deserve every penny)... I'm not mad about the prices at all. Besides I've been stacking since the first newswire post.

heck some people can't even make it past 10 mill legit due to work and familiy stuff. even with all the grinding they might do.

 

just because you have 200 mill doesn't mean the prices are on point.
