Anyone have any thoughts on whether we'll be able to use our custom versions in the SV races?

 

I can't decide whether I think they will be stock versions only so everyone can play or if R* will effectively pay wall the update so you have to own the SVs to play the races.

And after that we'll get the "classic" update, followed up by "gunrunning", and then this supposed "military" update, correct?

I don't think they thought it out that literally when they wrote "gunrunning and more coming this spring and summer."

 

I think it simply means gunrunning and more coming later before Q3 of 2017.

Well, Rockstar apparently don't browse this forum - so getting ideas directly from this community is unlikely.

However​ we know that Toss4tehLoss and other YouTubers steal and run with ideas from here on a daily basis.

By extension of the thousands of views those clickbait​ videos receive, Rockstar can judge what ideas are popular, and possibly develop them as Shark Card earners for the future.

(no offence) Koenisomething has made cars only since 2011 and they all (sorry) look the same. Agera and One (source:wikipedia) I personally don't see any valid reason why R* would add another one, unless you mean that it wouldn't be based on Koensinsgagen models at all? I'm actually even surprised there's this one.

Most people when they think K"#¤%¤#gg they think a car that looks like Överflöd Entity and nothing else.

Though i agree with the wishlisting belonging somewhere else, if the front stays that of that newest koenigsegg and the back looks kinda like that of 1 of those new mcclaren cars....i see that work out pretty well.

Pretty much any car they ever added since ill gotten gains i have seen being requested on this forum and they do claim to listen at feedback of the community.

So, we're getting the "special vehicle races" update soon, right?

Depends on the definition of soon.

 

This month still has a while to go...and spring is also quite the period....IMO

Like mentioned by mach, those cars mentioned are not confirmed to be already planned to be released next update.

They clearly said the SV races will be specifically for the Rocket Voltic, Ruiner 2k, and the Aqua Blazer. There won't be any new SV's included.

 

The only reason I question this is because; 1) arent there two extra spaces in the vehicle warehouse; and 2) doesn't Rock Star make its money off the DLC by selling high priced items? if no new vehicles, where does the profit come from?

Why would Rockstar pass on the potential opportunity to profit beyond shark card sales?

It is an unrealistic expectation at this point in the game's lifespan to be anticipating a map expansion. Rockstar can easily continue to profit off this game with smaller, targeted updates rather than pouring significant resources into something as involved as that.

 

I'll be happy to admit I'm wrong if it happens, but the chances at this point seem very low.

Because it makes ZERO sense (and some of us are getting tired of the constant demands for it). Why don't you write Rock Star repeatedly since they have the power to do it instead of constantly posting with some third party hoping that they will see it..
