I mean, how misleading would it be to post a picture of an airbase bunker, just to not have anything that flies?

 

It's probably just called airbase because of the location. Since we know the one shown in the pic is by Sandy shore airfield, who knows if the airfield didn't use to be a military before it's been relocated to Fort Zancudo and then given to Sand shores for civilian use ?

 

With that said, im not saying we won't get any aircraft but the bunker sign doesn't imply anything imo.

Thinking it has a hidden meaning is a longer Stretch than the limo itself.

 

Why wouldn't it be called an airfield bunker then, as opposed to an airbase bunker?

 

Also, it's not as close as you'd think. I went there myself - I don't think you can even see the airfield on foot; have to get up in the air to even see it.

 

I don't know, too much that's wrong with the name (listed in my post up there).

 

There's probably a little wishful thinking in there, but I think it'd be pretty misleading, and there are a few things that don't add up.

I don't think any of the ground vehicles will be pegasus vehicles. Just speculation, but I assumed it would play out like the special vehicles we have now and would be stored in the bunker.

I don't think any of the ground vehicles will be pegasus vehicles. Just speculation, but I assumed it would play out like the special vehicles we have now and would be stored in the bunker.

Yh im convinced they will be SV. Pegasus is probably going to be a thing from the past.

 

Not confirmed though.

 

For an example, if they would implement new aircraft, they need more then just a closed down garage to put something like that in it.

Hopefully some kind of lift that moves the aircraft up; then an opening in the ground, and you fly off, kind of like the offices.

 

Would feel pretty spectacular actually.

 

Or they might have a really basic approach and just put a helipad close to it.

So, "Los Santos Airbase Bunker" should really be "Sandy Shores Airfield Bunker", or at the very least, "Blaine County Airfield Bunker" (at least they'd have got the right county then).

 

Besides, if they were naming the bunkers that way, you'd have some pretty weird names. Quarry Bunker? Prison Bunker? They'd sound kind of strange.

its a massive military dlc I would think it would at least have 2 jets one being the a-10 and maybe like 3 or 4 attack helicopters it just makes sense its not a military dlc without some fighter jets and attack helicopters.

Eh, an APC really is kind of military though. Well, an APC with camo anyway.

 

The rest of the vehicles could be debated, except maybe the half-track thing (since that looks like an old WWII anti-air vehicle).

I think they stopped updating the qabeta.... so I think its on its way to Sony/microsoft/steam

Yan already told us that it has passed console testing. And it was a weekend - they don't work on weekends.

 

Fun said the opposite. Really, nobody knows for sure, but it's likely done being tested by Sony and MS by now. Hopefully we get a release date next week.

Qabeta was still being updated until Friday, after Yan said it had been passed to Sony/MS. We'll see if qabeta updates carry on or have stopped over the next day or two.

I guess it is just that this update is so huge and introduces some never seen before features, so they might need a bit more time to test it than previous updates.

I did predict that actually. It made sense, every building that was obvious to be a potential office had helipads on them...

 

It makes no sense at all that you would be able to fly a helicopter into an underground bunker. They've even already shown what the hatch entrance looks like.

Eh, I guess the vehicles themselves coming is more important than the delivery of them.

 

I still predict different types of bunkers. Most probably are cheaper, ground-only bunkers. Then maybe you get a few that can house aircraft.

 

Perhaps some have different selling missions. Some you might be able to patch up aircraft and sell them, that kind of thing. Or maybe it's just that they house aircraft for you to use. Possibly customize too, that'd be very nice. Can't imagine anyone complaining about getting that

I have a slight feeling we will be seeing more special vehicles than pegasus vehicles in the future. Although I doubt they would completely abandon pegasus, I don't think customisation will ever come with them, only with the special vehicles.. but I digress, this is r* after all, they can be all over the place with this type of sh*t lol

I would love to see that little guy roaming around a bit more, maybe a mission or restock could have you disguise yourselves as security guards and use him to roam about till you find what you wants, could give Rockstar and excuse to make a private security outfit with the handcuffs and all

Oh no... The patch word made me think of a scenario where the Big-H is implemented, but is a home-built DIY bodge rather than a competent vehicle.

That's the kind of thing R* would do to wind up helisexuals and anyone with half-a-brain. But they'd still charge $10-Million for it.

I'm not saying that having a property to house your aircraft and aircraft customization wouldn't be awesome. But do you really think underground bunkers are right for these ideas? I hope it happens but I'd much rather see it happen in a way that makes 1,000x more sense. Like hangars or aircraft carrier? We all know where your heart lies little buddy, but I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you.

Nah, I don't think they could really. I mean, the whole basis of the Apache is that it's a pretty high tech, advanced attack helicopter, with plenty of computer systems, etc. It couldn't really be re-created as a homemade thing surely.

I find this week's discounts very intriguing, i mean there are no sales for civilian vehicles and the vehicles on sale are somewhat considered "useless" by a faction of the community.

 

I am sure they are trying to give us hints, but i still can't figure what it is exactly.

 

@happy hunter what do you think about that valkyrie sale ? what if the savage was in sale next week ? would that be supposed to mean something ?
